one of the best comic book romances. it’s very natural and it’s not a constant back and forth. they pretty much stay together once they start dating. hopefully they will get together too in the show, even though i can’t imagine how they wouldn’t since they are such a big part if the story
I believe real life is what enhances animation, which is why we get both the spectacle of visuals (animation) and key elements of storytelling (real life). We can't appreciate animation without appreciating the real life work behind them (voice actors, storytelling, cinematography, and of course, the visual artists behind that craft).
While I know they get together in the comics (and I assume in the show) i just love how they wrote the friendship dynamic without it being weird. They didn't make either of them have feelings for the other and ruin their friendship over it, they just generally work well as friends. They have private talks, they show affection and they're always there for each other. A perfect friendship and they become a perfect couple.
I think ill forever be a Mark & Eve shipper. I just like how theyre both super heroes and have really strong powers so they can relate to each other and knows what the other goes through. So they can sympathize and emphasize with one another since they both have super powers.

I like how subtle Marks power development it. Throughout the whole show, he’s dealing with threats so big that he looks weak. And in the beginning he definitely is, he barely knows how to fly compared to Eve, but by the time the season ends, he’s likely stronger than all of the Guardians combined.

I had lightly read some stuff about Amber being toxic before I started watching this and I never knew that Mark and Eve got together in the comics until near the end of the season, but I remember watching and thinking that those had better chemistry than Mark and Amber.

She's pretty toxic too. Mark wants to escape and avoid superheroics, but Eve constantly sticks her nose in people's business and wants to play the hero while not committing because it's "her life". When you're with someone like that, your own wishes don't matter. How is that not toxic?

Comic spoilers I think the thing I love about them is the same thing I loved about Percy Jackson and Annabeth when I was younger- they both understand each other fully, both sides of their lives, and they truly become a part of one another. Neither of them loses who they are, both are still badasses, but they compliment each other as if they are an extension of one another. I just love how, no matter what happens, their mutual love and respect for each other gets them past any hardships or difficulties they face in their relationship. Seeing their chemistry here, i can’t help but get excited for how their relationship grows throughout the show. I truly hope they do it justice. Also I’m using this comment as a way to sort of organize my thoughts, since all of my friends who care about invincible don’t want to read ahead of the show.
