He goes at it alone because no one sees his vision - not until the end. Avon kills his queen and loses the game.

Same thing with when D'angelo was trying to tell Stringer with Wallace not being in the game anymore. But D'angelo lied to Stringer and put Wallace back in the game without Stringer knowing. Which is the reason why Stringer sent Bodie and Poot atfer Wallace.
I thought about Stringer Bell over the years, he was my favorite character. This is probably one of the best analyses I have seen on him. A potentially brilliant businessman but not much of "a gangster I suppose". God damn, bruh this is good! Subscribing!
Because String was wrong about doing worse and getting paid more. It only lasted a short time until the fiends figured it out and started going east side for their fix. Then he had to go to Prop Joe. He was losing everything they built because of the $hitty product.
Brother Mouzon would make a cool character in a graphic novel series ala John Wick, but with a different story arc that has nothing to do with revenge, more about protecting someone he shouldn't but because of his code, he is compelled to do it and is thrusted into a much larger plot.

I was fortunate to being in Business Classes as a College Student when "The Wire" was still on HBO. I remember seeing plenty of Stringer Bells in my Classrooms. Watching the Series, I knew what Stringer was before Avon said he was a man without a Country. Someone who may have ambition, can speak well and wants to be successful, but when it came down to it, didn't have the awareness, or even the intellect to hack it in either Worlds he tried living in. "Have the 'Want to' but don't have the know how" as one of my old professors used to say. Like you said, he was a creature of habit. And you can't survive with that line of thinking in the business world. He can get away with selling a stepped on product, but the short term way of thinking ended up being a long term. Until it lead to a long line of bad decisions and what ultimately lead to his demise

My lil cousin told me to check the middle of the blunts because I guess she was known for putting the plants on both ends and then putting cigar tobacco in the middle.
That shocked me because I actually trusted lil shorty and thought she wouldn't rob me because I was throwing mad paper her way.
Yall young Gods on point!
I mean my first 10 years of life was around cake and flower slangers in the mid 70s and 80s that had returned from Vietnam and were in the Army. I never got down thankfully because my moms got her stuff together, cut them off and made a career of the Army which kept me and bro from experiencing the crack era fo sho.
Your videos are interesting and your mind is real. Excellent videos cousin!!
ONE
They say if you're the smartest person in the room, you're in the wrong room.If you think you're the smartest, and you're not, you're Stringer Bell.
😂😂😂👌🏽
This is why the wire is honestly the best show ever made. The perspective on this show that is made just gets deeper n deeper. This is a masterpiece that will live on forever no reward is even needed for this it’s a gift beyond the streets just real life shit💯
that religion and numbers quote was deep man
Bro this was deep you hit a lot of points I never thought of.
Thanks alpa 👌🏽💯
These videos are quickly becoming my favorite thing. Hope you can keep making these.
Props from the Bay Area. Please don't stop these Wire stories. One love bruh.
That’s why the internet beef is funny to me because on the streets your respect is everything even your life!
Moral Of The Story Is That The Tables Have To Turn. Lying and Conniving Like Stringer Will Always Come Back On You. Ppl Like Mouzone, Avon, Slim Continued To Thrive Throughout The Show Cause They Stood By Principles and Values.
Not only that, but Stringer had the karma of Wallace's death coming back to him. He tried to tell Omar and Muzune that he ain't down with streets anymore.
Saw every Wire analysis of yours in one day. On one hand it feels like entertainment, on the other hand it feels like education.
I just found your channel tonight, and have binged ALL your Wire analyses. Phenomenal work Sir!🧡
Thank you, I appreciate it🙏🏽💯
It’s funny he says “we do worse… get paid more” then teams up wit da competition “Joe” for better product
Exactly. String was just too arrogant, it made him naive about simple sh**.
Because String was wrong about doing worse and getting paid more. It only lasted a short time until the fiends figured it out and started going east side for their fix. Then he had to go to Prop Joe. He was losing everything they built because of the $hitty product.
Every video gets better and better with every new upload
Your analysis of these characters and situations makes me look deeper into the whole story......much respect.
Brother Mouzon would make a cool character in a graphic novel series ala John Wick, but with a different story arc that has nothing to do with revenge, more about protecting someone he shouldn't but because of his code, he is compelled to do it and is thrusted into a much larger plot.
Bruh I’m addicted to these… I literally be checking if it’s a new vid everyday 🙏🏾 great concept
Bro you be killing the breakdown
Young brother, your analysis on these characters is outstanding. Not sure of your credentials, but your observations are graduate level easily. You have a new student that’s here to listen and learn.
My brother I can't begin to tell you how much I love it channel. You drop so many jewels on a series I have watch many times. Also I love to a fellow Philadelphian....born & raise in Brooklyn.
Show is so good people are still analyzing this over a decade later
These breakdowns are legendary! I wish more people could see this 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
Peace and prosperity family and everyone in the chat. Great breakdown and most importantly you're knowledgeable about what happens if you play with fire 🔥 distance is very important. Salute king
Distance Louie 👌🏽💯
👌🏽
I really like your perspective on this show and I really like your videos. I hope they keep coming.
This is the best channel on the wire, I love his character analysis.
I'm one of them women that watch all ya videos lol. My brother put me on and I'm hooked. Keep up the good work. Respect ❤
I appreciate your channel king .. we actually need a Brother Muzone series. movie or documentary on telavision .. he was one of the illest minds to walk earth.
This mind was to strong to not be its own series .. its what needed for the youth .. but yo you make Baltimore look strong .. your talk be professional .. evidence we not all ignorant .. we can build with minds too .. keep rising king .. its respected.
Great Job. You should be a Movie Narrator. You have a Gift.
This is really good insight, thanks. I had to go back and watch.
Wow!!! This right here put everything into perspective of what I tried to think about this aspect of the Wire (the streets). I'm locked keep making these!!
Rest up Omar/Michael K. Williams
Bro let me tell you something. I'm a writer and you do some brilliant character arc breakdowns. For real. I'm currently binging on the series again and I'm on season 2 which I personally love. Stringer was grimey for what he did to D. That was his karma nail in the coffin. Crossing brother was just suicide. He really did under estimate Omar.
Yo please bring it back some of the old characters and new characters I grew up to this show
How is that grimey when D snitched on wee bay?
@@pedroenciso9082 didn’t stringer snitch on Avon though
@@grandmarquise9263 I'm not saying he wasn't shady but not for killing D though... he snitched on the main hitter of the organization... now string clickin up with Joe and trying to have Omar kill Mouzone was shady and stupid. He should've just played his part and listen to Avon and back him up.
@@pedroenciso9082 D did tell Stringer he was gone tell on his uncle if he didn’t do anything and even though he wanted no part of being in the game I think he should’ve went about it another way. But he had to do what he had to do but then after Omar killed him due to Omar boyfriend
Bruh, you smoked this analysis. “You know what the most dangerous thing in America is? A nigga with a library card.”
The mans breakdown is cold🌬❄⛄
Bro, I'm so upset that I've just discovered this channel. I love The Wire. Watch it twice a year.
Another great analysis/character study, keep up the great work homie!
@8:05 Dawg, you didn’t have to do my man’s Stringer _that_ dirty 😂
This is the one! "This is not an aggressive marketplace String, this is a lawless one". That's the analysis we need. Loving these vids on the Wire.
This was amazing fam…. Good shit
Of the non kingpins,Slim,Muozone, and Poot were the business men. They made no enemies just because..and knew how and when to retreat when need be .That separated them from Bodie,Omar, and D'Angelo.
Great great observation bro. People overlook poot👌🏽💯
@@AMansWorldPodcast yep poot was smart af he tried to save Bodie also
Bravo sir another excellent video! 👏👏👏👏👏
It's a very simple reason as to why Stringer fell. It's the same reason his counterpart McNulty'fell as well. They both thought they were the smartest person in the room.
👌🏽you on point lol mcnulty might be the only one stringer was fooling. Maybe bodie too🤔But mcnulty narcissistic ass had to believe stringer was a genius so HE could feel like a genius for catching him. I got to do a video on that
@@AMansWorldPodcast Definitely. I, like you think the Wire is the best T.V. show of all time. It's the only series I have watched multiple times (5 to be exact, one for each season). Keep these up brother. You're doing excellent work!
Man, this was such an incredible breakdown. You are very skilled bro. Keep the Wire videos coming.
This was a very powerful and incisive analysis of String. "Not an aggressive market place but a lawless market place!" Wow! Peace
The brother n Omar together was some of my favorite scenes
Keep growing and grinding bro ur a living legend 👑🤟🏽
I like your polarized perspective, it's not the most academic but it's more of a street psychology. Interesting
👌🏽
Another great in depth video on the greatest tv show
Genius analysis!! 🔥🔥
"Slim u gon make me hurt you yo " - that's respect right there
Bravo my G! Great job!!
DUDE!!!! Open up TH-cam and see this on my Home Screen. Oh Hell Yeah man!!!!
Bruh, I don't know why your platform isn't as large as it is. You are on point with your narrating! I think you can do more of this with different TV series.
Thanks homie🙏🏽& I will soon. Micheal k Williams death really got me back on the wire…but I didn’t pick which show I would do next yet.
@@AMansWorldPodcast Keep up the good work. You have a brilliant mind when it comes to the Wire.
“It’s that other thang.”- Barksdale, Avon

You never fail to give me something to think about. I have watched the wire over twenty times, I have watched it again since subbing your channel. Damn your going to make me watch and take notes next time, that’s what I call being a great TH-camr
It was joe idea but he made it seem like he knew nothing about what was transpiring he just was the middle man to parlay joe was always 2 steps ahead just in case it blew back
Yo, keep doing what you doing. Your narration is cold as ice, and on point. You got it my dude!
You the best to do it!!!!!
Yo, I'm in the process of watching all of your videos.
I subscribed after I heard you drop an explanation of the false dilemma logical fallacy. I knew you were legit off that alone. Great work. Keep the content rollin!
