I believe I can speak for most, but we’re all behind you. We appreciate whatever time you are able to share with us regardless of the content. Thank you, Kimber.
Fine with the DIY or hobby shop, best to do what you love, because the action is the perfect method. Miserable weather aside, it is same here by me, spring time, and 15C today, with snow inland, and most major roads closed due to heavy snow falling. Last time was 30 years ago, with a snowdrift by the main road that stayed visible, sheltered by a tree line and a dip in the valley, so that south facing area held a good deep snow bank all the way through summer. Cold and rain all over the country, even the arid areas are getting rain, so the Karroo flower season should be incredible this year. Even the town I lived in for 3 years, where it historically only rains every decade or two, is cold and raining today, though the forecast for next week is back into the low 30's again.
I watch all your DIY vids. I find these very interesting. Sometimes life takes us different directions. No apologies needed - and most importantly take care and good health to all. 👍👍
I know how much work there is behind the scenes so understand why you have to change your approach. As for the other topics, Paul, they are always interesting. Thank you!
I like that it's Haxby Shed, not Haxby Machine Shop. The variety of topics you cover are one of your channels strengths. Your stamina in consistently putting out one a week is remarkable. I for one will remain loyal if (like me!) you only mange a couple of films a year, though I'll have to buy a newspaper to read over my Friday breakfast instead of seeing what you've been up to ;-) Looking forward to hearing about your EV experience, if it's anything like your panels and batteries there'll be some good, well informed, info without any of the tabloid hysteria! Have a good weekend, Matt
No need to apologise Paul all your videos are good. The recent video on the battery lawnmower was particularly useful to me as I am considering buying one. Glad to hear your wife is recovering. Take care, Stephen.
Hi Paul, I am interested in the variety videos, I'm going to watch the mower one later, and looking forward to the others you've promised! I know what you mean about responding to comments, I always want to write a decent response, but it can take a while to work out how to write it, make sure it's suitably concise and addresses all parts of the comment. I can be quite time consuming. All the best to you and your wife.
Glad to hear your wife is on the mend! No apologies needed - you do whatever keeps you interested and don’t worry about us. I find I have times when I spend all my free time in my shop and times when I haven’t even opened the door to do routine cleaning and maintenance. I enjoy watching your videos and appreciate a more well rounded content. You will certainly not hurt my feelings at all by not responding. Family and home should take precedence - always!
No need to apologise Paul. I've had a lot of time off from my workshop too, due to my wife's illness and other family and work commitments. Life happens and often priorities change. Your videos are always interesting and well presented so I will continue to watch them.
Life gets in the way Paul. I don't think that anyone will be upset by your taking a bit of "timeout." I'd like to thank you for replying to my previous comments, I'm more than happy for no replies at all. All the best to you and your better half.
Glad to hear your wife is recovering well. I've enjoyed all your video content you are a great presenter. So I'm more than happy with the variety. I agree make sure you enjoy what you are doing and doesn't become a burden. I like the idea about putting a no reply required anacronymn (spelling!!). Not sure if this would hinder the algorithm but I wouldn't worry about that too much. Look after yourself and have a great weekend
Hi Paul. The choice of what you film and share must always be yours. I for one will miss your comment responses but understand your reasoning. Take care, and continued best wishes to your wife as she recovers. 👍😀
Hi Paul, glad to hear that your wife is recovering, no need to apologise or reply and the variety of content is welcome. Rather than writing to everyone maybe a short update video answering any questions a bit like Josh Topper does would be easier and helps feed the TH-cam algorithm 😂. Whatever you do don't make it a chore
Some things just don't upscale well. It isn't anybody's fault that there's only 24 hours in a day, and no reasonable person could blame you for needing to reduce the time spent on comments. Hobbies have lower priority than your family life, and again no reasonable person could blame you for choosing wisely. I'll appreciate what you do have time to share, whenever you see fit to do so!
NNTR - From now on, I will preclude my comments with "NNTR" (No Need To Respond) so you know that I am not expecting a response ! Thank you for the explanation.
Dear Mum .... only joking ... well I do like to reply I'm a chatty social person but two evenings a week doing comment replies was becoming too much. My granny always started her letters with the same phrase "I hope this letter finds you well as it finds me just the same ....". I always though, just the same as what? Cheers
Don't apologize and don't answer every comment. Life comes first, youtube can wait. Remember viewers get what they pay for which is nothing. We all know youtube doesn't pay jack shit anyways. All the best sir!

Hi Kimber, the next video will be a DIY job, generally more interesting than a lawnmower review I hope 😎

At least DIY is practical stuff Stuart. I like watching people solving problems even when there is no oil involved. Cheers

I think I can say that we certainly understand. I’m happy your wife is doing well. I know what a concern that can be.
Your channel, your topics. I just glad that you take the time to share it with those of us watching. Cheers!
Very kind of you Argee. Cheers
All the best mate, thanks for the content you provide, cheers.

Variety is the spice of life.
Quite understand Paul and your videos are always of interest, the eclectic mix makes it more so. All the best and take care. Cheers

I know the feeling. My life seems to have come to a stop outside the workshop. I have so much to do. Good luck.
Hi Rusty for me it's mainly a rush of outdoor projects to complete before the weather turns wet and cold. Cheers
You just do, what is best for you ;-) cheers from Denmark
Variety is the spice of life as they say.

Hard Core machining, blimey, Yes, 100% comment read/reply is quite a task I would imagine?
hope your wife is recovering well?
Regards John
She's grumpy with me again John so I reckon she's nearly recovered. Cheers.

I enjoyed the video
Thank you Sir👍
I always think it's a mistake when newer channels say that they read & respond to all comments! That's OK when the only subscriber is your mum!!!
