Don't think this would work since Teferi's protection phases the player out. You would not be present for the resolution of the spell. Still decent for a land hate strategy but you wouldn't fetch the five lands.
@@pringusBoy This is wrong. Teferis protection does not phase the player out. It gives them protection, which does nothing to stop non targeting effects. Quickly re-read the card to see what I mean.
@@pringusBoy There are ways to kill players who resolved Teferi's protection such as milling them out in a way that doesn't target or proliferating poison counters.
This is my favorite series Demo. Thanks for the great content! Natural balance is for the people who want to hate on land ramp. It's a matter of principle if you're running it in green lol
@@kingfuzzy2 aye. I'm well aware of it and so was the Nekusar player. In fact we started mtg during Kamigawa block, and played many kitchen table games with cards like this. =)
Harmonize isn’t great because it doesn’t provide any synergy, however, I still think it’s worth playing in mono green decks since lots of green draw is contingent on you already having a board presence, so it’s nice to have an option that is unconditional, especially after a board wipe.
Yeah, exactly. Green is fantastic with effects that rely on having creatures ready to go, but having even a single on-color draw effect with no conditions needed will always make it completely playable, especially in a singleton format.
I have nature's chosen in my vehicles deck! It's fantastic at what it does! I also have the Nightveil Predator problem in my Rayami deck, it basically only dies to sac outlets.
Yes! I have a Brokkos deck thats trying to string together trample, deathtouch, and hexproof, Nightveil Predator is my first pick for a mutate target for my commander. People can even see it coming, but a lot of the time they can’t or don’t want to give up a creature to do anything about it.
Makes Singularity is in my domain/converge tribal deck. Sure it is quite costly to keep around. Card can basically go into every 5c deck that doesn't prioritize one of it's color
Methinks I'm going to put night dealings in my Slimefoot deck. Definitely sounds fun to sac a bunch of saprolings to an ashnod's/phyrexian altar then use that mana to go get something, like grafted exoskeleton or tainted strike
that particular trick is why it was included as a precon card in Atraxa because you can make atraxa's proliferate go first so you go above 3 before it nukes
Nature's Chosen is amazing. I play it in a kitchentable deck with Nomad Mythmaker. I also use it in my Sisay deck, with Heliod's Pilgrim to fetch it. Because of the interactions between the two abilities, it is best to enchant the Pilgrim rather than enchant Sisay to maximize how many times I can untap Sisay.
Natural Balance strikes me as a card you play in a deck that abuses Azusa type effects with Ramunap type cards, so I actually think it's perfect in green. You are like an anti ramp deck ramp deck.
Neko-Te is a good back up card in my Zagras deck if my commander is taxed really heavy and I need to get the creature lock happening. Works well on Inferno Titan, Scalding Salamander and Skaargan Hellkite.
Night Deals goes incredibly well with one of my favorite underused Enchantments in black, Pestilence. one black to put 3 counters on it seems pretty good, while also controlling the board. And like Night Dealings, is repeatable for more value.
12:18 Nightveil Predator was surely one of the most underplayed cards from the latest Ravnica. It was my "hidden" kill condition, even more so if equipped with a Forebear's Blade. It was a 6/3 vigilance, trample, flying, hexproof, deathtouch player killing machine
I had an idea for Urza's Sun Glasses combined with Blood Moon and Conversion to make everyone's lands be only PLains, but due to Urza's Sun Glasses I could still be in Boros Colors without being punished by my own cards. I thought about adding in Quicksilver Fountain to punish someone who is already in a white deck. I suppose it would have to be a prison/Groupslug deck, but I never really went anywhere with it since I thought it wouldn't be very fun. The commander I had in mind was Mila, Crafty Companion since I thought of making a small superfriends thing too.
Nature's Chosen is awesome in enchantress decks. Usually you're running Sanctum Weaver, Growing Rites, Serra's Sanctum, and/or land auras. This card does some insane work in my Sythis deck
Possible Card for this series, Navigator’s Compass. 1 mana artifact that’s taps to have any land you control become the basic land type of your choice till end of turn. Also Has an ETB of gains you 3 life. I’ve started putting this in 3+ color decks and it fixes colors pretty well.
I have an Ulasht, the Hate Seed tokens/counters deck that would love Neko-Te! Ulasht's ping ability has difficulties dealing with larger creatures without something like Basilisk Collar. Being able to tap them down to turn them into a non-threat is very helpful!
Mirage is such a underestimated set, especially new player don't know! My favorite card is Grim Feast, incredible powerful because it's kinda unique for this colour combination to gain life that way :D
Night Dealings seems insane in a Mardu+ deck where you can search up Zirda. Maybe Syr Gwyn who wants to reduce equip costs anyway. Or Aristocrats who are going to put a boat load of counters on it.
You could add/proliferate counters to necroplasm to get it to skip 3. You could as add -1/-1 counters to remove +1/+1 counters to further manipulate it
I want to hear more about this Dragonlord Dromoka deck that cares about color typing. That sounds insane, and Dromoka is my favorite dragon. Spill the beans!
I love Nature's Will. I run it in Derevi stax & Klauth combat steps. I run Neko-Te in a Niv-mizzet machine gun deck. No real comboing just lots-o pings.
There is a caveat about Night Dealings: you have to remove X counters and then search for a card with CMC X. Not CMC X or LESS. You need to know what you're looking for before you remove the counters.
Easily done if you upload your decklists for your edh decks to Tappedout or moxfield etc. Can't think of what you have in your deck? Pull up your decklist on your phone and think about the card you want to get when you pass the turn.
You should check with the group first, but you could just search first, remove the number of counters, then give everyone a chance to respond before revealing it. Only real difference would be if they want to counter the tutor itself based on the number of counters you remove, but even then it's basically just you get to shuffle your deck.
@@yavivanov6650 I personally have 22 commander decks that I don't always play on a regular basis, sooo I'm not going to memorize each and every one of those decks. So that's why I have decklists for them all.

I very vaguely remember a white enchantment that did something similar to Naked singularity. But I can't remember the name. On a side note, as with all cumulative upkeep cards, if you can remove the age counter with Clockspinning or Power conduit, it never increases in price.
Necroplasm can get higher than 3 counters on it because you only destroy creatures with CMC equal to it's counters, not equal or less, so if you proliferate it after it has it's 3rd counter to give it a 4th it'll gloss over itself and kill things with 4 cmc and higher
