    I got tears when he said "I am from a dire poverty and who is there to guide a poor man, an orphan? naturally I have to consult myself", beautiful talk and great language.

    I love listening to old Indians talk. They speak with such rigor, affirmation and cynicism that it's so enjoyable to listen to. They always have wonderful stories to tell.

    Such a great man, humbleness bordering with self-deprecation. A great teacher never becomes complacent, never stops learning and developing, and in the end he encourages his students to develop the system further. So many parallels with Carl Rogers...

    I love this! I have done yoga since the 70's. Started when I was 16. I have never been able to do the jumping part of this yoga. 1st time I've heard where this jumping part came from.

    Mental health has been added to WHO's definition of health only recently but the idea of a holistic health existed centuries ago and had been repeatedly said in Yoga practices. I can't believe it gets so little attention in this era but it speaks from centuries of experience and growth❤️

    Yes Yog is indeed Indian and more so, a vedic sanatan dharma tradition. Indian sages have been practicing yoga and meditation since thousands of years. West has made it popular and commercial. Patanjali yog sutras are thousands of years old.

    How come only when Guruji talks there's subtitles and not when the interviewer talks? Is it taken for granted that one would automatically understand the American (what sounds to be) accent universally and you would only need subtitles for what is not??

      @@MotoVikz Not really. I've seen Scottish and Irish people subtitled because although they were speaking English their heavy accents made them less than easy to understand. Sometimes a misunderstanding in one word creates the wrong impression. Subtitles can go a long way to removing any doubt about what is being said.
      Not everything is a conspiracy to demean others.

    He asks her how long SHE has done yoga and she says she's done it for 28 years. The subtitles were wrong. He then mentions something he's discovered and asks her if she knew that which she didn't even after 28 years of practice.
