    Sergio, this is an awesome demonstration! I aspire to create something as beautiful as this on my Moog One.

      @@sudhanva-bhat thanks. It is a very simple synth, but the sound and the nuances, the details and sometimes the brutality and the fatness of its sounds, are incredible. I never heard something like it. Of course, this is my personal opinion

    Is this a really new/reissue or a vintage/new to you Model D? because if it's the vintage one, it looks incredibly preserved..

    Fantastic. How does it sound vs the One?

    • @smvproducer
      @smvproducer  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@andreasoberg2021 thank you. Compared with the One, they are totally different. I never had a MiniMoog Model D. But what I can say is that no matter which sound you are playing with it, it just cut through the mix very easily. It is super detailed and can sound very gentle and very aggressive. But anyway is incredibly fat!

      @@smvproducer That sounds very interesting. I find that with the One I sometimes make instruments that I think would be more suited for the Minimoog, just strong mono sounds or base sounds. How does it feel to not be able to save a preset? I guess it makes us sharper and faster in building sounds. I always come back to OB X8 and Minimoog to a as future compliment my Quantum and One. And probably a large modular system at a point. I found a huge Addac rack that seems like a perfect fit (and believe it or not but my wife totally support them all!).

      @@andreasoberg2021 As maybe I told you before, I think that making a bad sound with the One, is easy. On the other hand, it gives you the possibility to create, with an analog polysynth, some sounds that are impossible to achieve with another analog machine. That said, I am lucky to own the P10, the OBX8, the Moog One and the MiniMoog Model D. So, i love all of the them. The Model D is a joy to use and it sounds SUPERB. It kicks into your face. The fact that you cannot save, it makes you to go faster in sound programming( as you said) and "one knob-one parameter" is what I like on synths. About your wife, you are lucky and she is doing what a woman is supposed to do :)

      @@andreasoberg2021 my wife also was supportive when the Moog One came into the house. I’m not so sure it would be the same if a minimoog suddenly showed up at the door :-) but now I have an idea in my head… One new synth every birthday! 🎉

    One question, is the sequence and the keys all coming from one patch? Or is it layered?

    • @smvproducer
      @smvproducer  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      In this simple track, there are 2 notes ( 2 F played with the Oberheim) that are going on until the end. The part that you see i am playing on the MiniMoog, is a sound that i am live tweaking, and the sequence is coming from the MatrixBrute and is just one patch playing the notes and the sound you hear alone in the very beginning. 😀
