Yes. The soldiers are Nepalese and selected in Nepal before undertaking 9 months of Gurkha infantry training in Catterick, England. Then some are assigned to the band based in Folkestone in the south east of England to perform and represent the Gurkhas around the UK, Nepal and all over the world!
