I stopped by their booth as well at SEMA. I asked the Rep doing the demo what the CFM rating was on the compressor in their booth and he told me 6 CFM @ 90 psi. I have the same air compressor you mentioned, so I'd have to buy a larger one just to use it. I use a small Ryobi leaf blower. It's compact and moves a lot of air, and I don't need an air compressor. Just makes things easier for me.
Thanks for sharing your insight! It’s interesting how different setups work for different needs. Some of the booth reps might not have had all the technical details down, but I’ve found that the Tornador works extremely well with the Fortress set at 90 PSI and 4.0 CFM. For me, having a small, compact tool is crucial, especially for reaching tight spots, like between seats. I imagine a leaf blower might be a bit tricky for those kinds of applications, but at the end of the day, it really comes down to personal preference and what works best for your workflow. Your setup sounds like a great solution for your needs!
@PristineAutoLab it's a small blower called the Workshop blower. Another reason I don't use an air compressor is space. My mobile set up is in a Ford Escape. It would take up too much room. I'd still like to try a Tornador Mini if you say it works with the compressor I have.
Which tool do YOU think performed better? Let’s talk in the comments!
