While testing my keypress spawn mod, I figured out that if there are too many characters at the same time, the AI doesn't work anymore and they just slowly path towards you or fully stop if you have enough of them. I guess the game can't process the inputs for all animatronics at once anymore.
Now i imagened that 50+ Monty‘s slowly chasing you in a crowd, never deloading so that you have to be strategic in what areas you visit or not in order to not be softlocked

What is with pathing to a random spot on the map?
Is it perhaps that the animatronics simply have difficulty pathing because they're either trying not to get in the way of the others or because the path is not clear enough to run?

Funnily enough, I too had a bit of an existential crisis, but for the exact opposite reason. I realized that my life is basically exactly the same as it was last year. It really put into perspective how lucky I am to be able to do that, but also just how boring my life really is.Thankfully, I'm autistic so I like it this way, but man, did I freak out for a moment there.

If I remember from the Chica Caverns part of the game Vanny’s sprinting speed is faster than Monty which makes her inescapable

Security Breach but ACTUALLY EVERYONE spawns every 10 seconds is the next challenge video. You see 5% of it and it’s the death screen, the other 95% are just static 😭
i love these runs because they seem always reveal the thought process of the developers like giga monty, there's clearly a system in place that strips the ai of extra characters to reduce the load on the game, probably a relic from when the game was less polished, but there's still the minimal chase/search ai in order to prevent giga montys and their relative counterparts from forming out of the ai husks, this also means during development giga monty was discovered by the developers and harassed them to the point where they had to add ai back to prevent him from spawning
Giga Monty was never meant to chase you and he only appears in one section of the game (the party disk section or whatever.) It's when you deload that area that he drops down off his perch, then you have to go back to that area and hit his line of sight for him to activate, but the mission objective is to sneak to wherever you put the disk in, at which point he despawns. So the devs probably knew about his stripped down AI yeah, but they didnt expect him to be able to get off his perch. They just put him there for decoration. Also his AI, in terms of coding, is the most basic; "chase and kill when alerted." You have to ADD coding to include things like losing line of sight or walking away when the player successfully hides.

From what I understand, Giga Monty was intended to be essentially a guaranteed kill to punish the player when they stand in the spotlight in that one mission. Monty would man the spotlight and if you are spotted by it, he'd jump down and chase you forever. You couldn't hide or lose him in any way and you couldn't activate any objects either, you just had to die and try again. Guess they thought it was too harsh so now the spotlight just doesn't do anything but deloading the structure he stands on causes him to drop down and effectively behave as he was intended but the mechanics of disabling hiding and interacting doesnt exist any more.
It's crazy how Spiff couldn't spawn anyone under the floor. This mod has less exploits than the actual game.

Howdy, I was a percussionist in middle school and I can confidently say that the triangle can also be muted if you hold it while you hit it. I remember playing a piece that required quickly switching between muted and unmuted hits. It was a nightmare considering I had five other instruments to play too.

As a college percussionist I can say, incredibly, there is many ways to hit a triangle. Much like most percussion, it's a lot more complicated than you think and involves precise angles, coordination, and extreme rhythmic accuracy to play correctly.
Now I'm just waiting for the moment Vanessa, Moon, the Endos, and Vanny also spawn every 15 seconds.

I agree with Roxy being the weakest enemy. Chica doesn't jump and can speedwalk, which speedwalking doesn't alert the stealth icon and no jumping can allow her to chase for longer, but she's slow and stunnable, while shattered Chica has the same stats, making her the strongest of the shattered animatronics. Monty runs noticeably faster than the others and even with the shoes he has no trouble keeping up with you, and he cannot be stunned due to his sunnies. He sometimes also has better eyesight than the others, as he chases you for way longer sometimes. He can jump, but he can jump onto unreachable areas to get you as his jump distance is longer than Roxy's, plus he is bigger than Roxy and Chica, thus having a larger hitbox. Shattered Monty is a massive nerf as he is sorter, so can't see you as easily, much slower, and stunnable. Roxy can collide with shit while in pursuit which can remove her ability to run, neither Chica or Monty do this naturally, she's stunnable, as slow as Chica, and her short jumping distance never helps her, unless it glitches out like it did on older versions. Blind Roxy ain't any better, outside of her fight and Afton fight, she's hopeless at catching you, while immune to stuns, it doesn't matter if she can't see you in the first place. overall making her the weakest enemy of the main 3, with Monty being the strongest full enemy, and Chica the strongest shattered enemy.
Yeah, it genuinely impresses me how terrible Roxy is as an enemy.

13:14 one of my mates in marching band last year (we were in front ensemble) played two notes on the finger cymbal for our whole show, and just stood there the rest of it. Not even kidding, he would count out like 87 measures, with time singature changes mind you, hit two notes, and then continue to pulse with the rest of pit.
also, yes theres multiple ways to hit the triangle, you can hit the bottom part or the far end for different tones. The triangle is also unironically one of the hardest instruments to play consistently, as you cant hit the exact tsame spot multiple times, and it will always sound slightly different. It's literally trombone champ, where consistency is the most important, as opposed to accuracy
I saw chat suggest 'SB but Vanny spawns ever 15 seconds' and honestly that would be kind of funny with how fucked the screen would get. Endos doing it would be a rather interesting challenge.

If I ever end up in a programming case where I have to work with a character that has to despawn. I 100% will implement that it plays a soft plop noise upon despawning. Soft enough that you'll only hear it if you're very close (close enough that the character shouldn't be despawning anyways). I won't ever program a game in a professional setting, so it's fine :P

His name is Nebud from the Evolution, Mega Metropolis series of Gogos. When I was 6 my brother had this thing and I never knew what it was and assumed it was something from Ben 10. Whenever we played together we had to FIGHT over who got to have him and be the destroyer of our Lego city. When I moved out I decided to bring the little thing with me but I still didn't know what the hell it came from. Your gold Gogo made me go down a 5-minute rabbit hole and I discovered what it was. (And as of writing this, I watched this vid over 30 times. You would figure I would have already looked)

This is what I used to do for alarm setting... I'd have a LOUD AF alarm and its across the room, basically opposite end from where I sleep. That way I have to physically get out of bed to snooze it or shut it off, and when you're already out of bed you may as well do the morning routine.

How about 4 or 8 endo's spawn in the front, back, left, and right of the player every 25 seconds or 1 minute? They have to spawn in their wake up animation, giving you time to adjust to the new horde. A new strategy for management will be interesting to see. Or maybe have a certain number of undespawnable endo's spawn after whatever amount of time. If that's possible.
Or an endo spawning behind the player every 5 seconds, im making a video on doing that.

When it said “everyone” in the title, I’m gonna be honest, I thought it really meant everyone, and I just KNOW it would be impossible with music man AND sun and moon AND an endo added to the 3 main baddies spawning, but even individually (just sun/moon, just an endo, just music man or mini music man 👀) I think it would make an interesting and a fun time! Not to mention staff bots, but those - I think - would mostly be more annoying than dangerous lol
If I could make mods I’d totally do it but I think someone else definitely should :]
