When I was eight, dude, I couldn't wait, dude, to play this brand new game called Mario Paint: a game that I wish every house had, it came with a mouse and a mousepad! (It was a big deal back then...)
Thanks for the comment! This was a child hood game for me as well. Me and my family would play this a lot. They just don't make em like they use to lol. Thanks for watching!
I haven't actually played this, or seen any video of it since 1995 or 96 sometime around then when I first played this, but watching this brought back so many memories. 20 years since I last seen this game, and I still remember the music, and the paintbrush who grew arms when you'd paint.
I have fond memories of this game and put a ton of time into it. Because it's more than a painting/drawing application. The extra features of music composition & frame by frame animation provided hours & hours of entertainment for me and my friends back in the day.
We're all gonna be jealous! I chuckled when I looked at your picture 🤭 it kinda made me feel like don't judge a book by the cover. It looks like u may be off to a satanic ritual, yet you're off to play Mario paint!
I had a few tones stuck in my head for some reason I just had a feeling they were from this game. I never had this game I only had a broke cartridge that only displayed the trailer for this game that I loved to watch. This painting game looked so fun
My grandfather bought me an snes in like 93 or 94 when i was only a couple years old. Mario paint must have been the first game I ever owned. It was so fun!! Needs to be emulated on switch and even Re-released version with the classic look and feel, would be interesting :)
Oh wow! I remember this when I was like six or seven years old! My mom would let me go on this and I had an awesome time! I still remembered the theme song thingy whenever I drew something. So glad I found this! =D thank you!
Wow ... I remember playing this when I was a little girl! I was sitting here telling my kids about it and ended up finding this! Thanks so much for bring back some great memories to share when my kids :) now I have to go find the game system and the game so we all can play together lol :)
I was just a kid myself when this game came out. It was ahead of its time for sure! I am happy that you was able to show your children this and show them what we grew up with! Good Luck on finding a system and Mario Paint! I know they are really hard to find these days. Thanks for watching and commenting!
I remember seeing a commercial for this and telling the adults hey I want this game! They were like what is it? Mario Paint, you paint on the TV with it. No we're not getting you that you might mess up our TV it's paint lol. Then I had to explain how it worked and they were like OK. Well we'll see about getting it for you then. Back then growing up you that usually meant a 50/50 chance either a birthday or Christmas present. (The only times we'd likely get anything new).
oh man I love this game I played it a lot as a kid I have the emulator on my phone can't get it to respond to the on screen controls but this game is great cool upload
Well, screw that, make it as an extra DLC included in mouse! (What I mean is, make the mouse console compatible, when u hit reset on console and that is plugged, let the game flow in on its maximum shine! (OR make it somewhat installable)
I MISS THIS!!! (Side note, I think some of the instruments and sounds later popped up in EarthBound... I think the Fire Flower trumpet and Game Boy square lead, but I don't know about the others... the car organ, maybe?)
Once seeing the music editor program, i do realize that the snes can speed up or slow down audio samples without changing pitch or leaving dry artifacts, or it can change pitches without altering it’s speed, that’s incredible. Well maybe those samples were recorded at a slower speed to allow be played back at a slower speed without drying artifacts. Also this game does have some advanced features like creating and enlarging circles or rectengulars etc,,, among other things😁 Seriously technical freaks, am amezed that such thing is possible on the snes since it is tile based and since each tile can only take up 16 colors,it makes me wonder how color cleshes are avoided.
Lesson not learned at I purchased 2x Mario Paint NSC from eBay when drunk when I needed PAL though the mice pads and mice have come in handy (kept the pads, repurposed mice to USB and resold on eBay). Threw out my crusty weathered PAL SNES ~2 months back cleaning out the shed using up the council tip once per year voucher.... I've got a golden ticket. Funny how I can dump shite at the tip but can't salvage it even with a haggle as a wee business or two has dibs on it (cash greases hands) After dumping my SNES, Sega MSII, old bar fridge, ~7" portable B+W analogue AWA TV ('97 model, likely rebadged) and old 20" Daewoo CRT monitor (shit latency, bad ghosting, max 120HZ (could only get 85Hz without smelling flux and ozone with restart). +Saw a Star Wars #Ep1 all in on CRT TV + DVD layer with cabinet.... not allowed to take or buy/barter it. (wanted to turn into aquarium where the fish could swim amongst the severed head of Jar Jar). +Crap loads of old school Panasonic Technics/Pioneer/Sony hifi panel gear. (rather than let it rot in the open elements we at your local tip are on contract and will let some heathen merely break it down and salvage it for their raw metal scrap values. +Fuck loads of Pioneer and older Akai 8 ohm well built stereo pair speaker cabinets, even if the speakers were toast the cabinets were solid though yes... not allowed to take or buy/barter it.
Sega is being salty. Also, weirdly enough, they had a Sonic themed paint game as well and it was only one of two games that had members of the STHAM/Archie Comics Sonic characters, and the other one is Sonic Spinball.
I turned 14 last week. Mabye like 6 years ago or something my dad had a softmodded xbox and it had this game in it. But it wouldn't play the game it would only show a preview of it for some reason. I always got upset because it wouldnt let me play the game lol (never played the game before, but I really wanted to)
do you think wii u will gave us back our childhood games I would seriously want to go back 😄😄 I really watch all the games I played game plays! memories flash through
Eu tinha Mario Paint incluído numa fita que vinha sete jogos do Mario. O Mario 1 tinha todos os Bros e o World. O 2 tinha Mario e Wario. ...lembro que só não havia o Kart. Este eu tinha numa fita separada kk
I had this on super Nintendo maybe in 09 and let my older bro use it for his kids and they lost the game and mouse i was so pissed off like wtf don't appreciate anything I was lucky just to get the system back also had the original SNES 2 box and my mom threw it out 😑 she didn't understand why i kept the box mom the damn box is worth more than the damn system uhhh f my life also you could make music on this game it was insane
Ooohhhh!! Thank you so much for this video!!! I spent a lot of hours with this game when I was child!!!
You're Welcome! Happy you enjoyed the video! I spent a ton of hours playing this one as well. Thank you watching and commenting!

Everyone knows the music of mario paint but most have never seen gameplay.
I born in 2001 and i spent a lot of hours, when i was a child, with this game too
Just the music alone brought back so many great memories. Miss the good ol days
Eddie77 i said the same thing!!
Amen
This game needs to come to the switch. Why in the hell haven’t they?! I want it!!!!
My guess is good as yours.
You have it that's Super Mario Maker 2
You have a point, especially with the SNES online feature on the Switch.
Because they don’t make good games anymore. I’ve been saying this for YEARS. They NEED to bring back Mario Paint.
Yuri lima 2 you’re to young to get it mate.
When I was eight, dude, I couldn't wait, dude, to play this brand new game called Mario Paint: a game that I wish every house had, it came with a mouse and a mousepad! (It was a big deal back then...)
How old are u now?
OMG :D This was my favorite game as a kid! Love this video! You just made my day :)
Thanks for the comment! This was a child hood game for me as well. Me and my family would play this a lot. They just don't make em like they use to lol. Thanks for watching!
I used to watch the start screen cause I didnt had mouse.
this brings back so many memories. good memories that also make me sad that i cant go back and experience them again. its a strange feeling

So nostalgic, thank you! Such a fun game!
Oh, so this is some of where the inspiration of Super Mario Maker’s menu came from!
I still have mine. Works fine. I will be hooking it up today!!
We're all gonna be jealous! I chuckled when I looked at your picture 🤭 it kinda made me feel like don't judge a book by the cover. It looks like u may be off to a satanic ritual, yet you're off to play Mario paint!
I bet to this day a few kids grew up to become musicians because of this game
Mario maker 2 has that dog undo icon. Those two are definitely a nod to this game
I had a few tones stuck in my head for some reason I just had a feeling they were from this game. I never had this game I only had a broke cartridge that only displayed the trailer for this game that I loved to watch. This painting game looked so fun

Muito bom relembrar isso, ficava o dia todo mexendo nisso kkk
Sim, eu não fazia a mínima idéia do que estava fazendo, mas era divertido.

Thanks so much for bring back some great memories to share when my kids :) now I have to go find the game system and the game so we all can play together lol :)

this game is the reason I'm a digital artist today. Thank you Nintendo for this game.
There imagine this game on the switch, it would be perfect with the touch function
I remember seeing a commercial for this and telling the adults hey I want this game! They were like what is it? Mario Paint, you paint on the TV with it. Very nostalgic 😭
I used to play this RELIGIOUSLY 😂 so addicting….now I have to try and find this somewhere
This is the best drawing and music game ever, because this SNES game sold 2,310,000 units worldwide x $18.00 = $41,580,000!!
Brings back good memories
25:02 it's so funny that this is the most replayed part of the video
oh man I love this game I played it a lot as a kid I have the emulator on my phone can't get it to respond to the on screen controls but this game is great cool upload
So satisfying to watch
2:20 it's Shellder!! In 1992 :O!!! Original evolution plus the Slowpoke tailbiter version!
Why wasnt this on the mini snes classic??
Good Question!
idk, maybe it needed a mouse?
U need the mouse I have the original console getting mouse and game this week
Definitely because of that!
Well, screw that, make it as an extra DLC included in mouse! (What I mean is, make the mouse console compatible, when u hit reset on console and that is plugged, let the game flow in on its maximum shine! (OR make it somewhat installable)
MY CHILDHOOD
I MISS THIS!!!
(Side note, I think some of the instruments and sounds later popped up in EarthBound... I think the Fire Flower trumpet and Game Boy square lead, but I don't know about the others... the car organ, maybe?)

Once seeing the music editor program, i do realize that the snes can speed up or slow down audio samples without changing pitch or leaving dry artifacts, or it can change pitches without altering it’s speed, that’s incredible.

Threw out my crusty weathered PAL SNES ~2 months back cleaning out the shed using up the council tip once per year voucher.... I've got a golden ticket.

Sega is being salty. Also, weirdly enough, they had a Sonic themed paint game as well and it was only one of two games that had members of the STHAM/Archie Comics Sonic characters, and the other one is Sonic Spinball.

They should’ve ported this to the 3ds. We could paint with the touch screen!
do you think wii u will gave us back our childhood games I would seriously want to go back 😄😄 I really watch all the games I played game plays! memories flash through
I am actually surprised that it hasn't been on the virtual console. I think a lot of people would buy it.

Esse videogame do Mario Paint que era o jogo de desenhar era igual ao paint que é no notebook.

This is why you pimp slap your moronic relatives that do not understand such things in their lives.
