@@robgindc1 thank you! Yeah I have some ideas for another of my vans that will be a bit fancier but that’s a long potential expensive project including 4x4 conversion etc! 😂 I’m liking the basic set up on this one for my needs, just a few things to add for cooking convenience and should be all good …
Hello ! I have a 2013 van like yours . I also am doing a minimum of build to it . The front 2 seats out and planning on taking the very back seat out , and leaving the 3rd seat in . I got the cheapest 2 bar roof rack from eBay and will mount a 300 watt solar panel up there . Subscribed and Liked . Looking forward to comparing notes on your van !
@@richardduke6930 sounds awesome man! I have a few other things I want to add to this basic build but I’m about 12 nights into nomad usage with it so far and it’s covering all the needs for the most part … Throw some videos up and share your build with us all, I’ll be down to subscribe, the more info and shared experiences the better …..
@@vanlifeadjustments I might let this one go, it’s my last one, just not sure if I’m gonna sell this van in a few months with it built out or strip it down
@@holdfast4588 yeah for a 4 day build out I’m happy with it. I’m going light instead of bring the kitchen sink and I’m sure once I get the first week knocked out I’ll recognize a few things I need or don’t need. I have para cord, wire, light weight chain, I can’t find any of those though stuffed away in a crate somewhere! 😆
@@javin6081 yes there are two versions on there website both the same rack (this is the extended largest version) but one comes with mounting attachment where you have to drill into the roof (I definitely do not suggest that method) the other comes with I believe 12 of the smittybilt gutter mounts, just make sure your looking at the correct version, their customer support people are actually pretty awesome if you need to verify smithing with them. This is the least expensive van roof rack available unless you can weld your own but even then metal ain’t cheap these days …
Liked & subscribed. Cool, complete, efficient, quick build - very nice. Enjoy, travel safely. 🙏

Vans looking legit. I’m gonna need to do a remodel on mine one day.
You could use some 550 paracord maybe to hold up those tables instead of chain?
