They did not ask or check for me. However there is a possibility they may ask to show funds proof. You can carry cards also. Mostly should be fine

If the layover is more than 12, as per what I have read, a transit visa is required. Although, I am not aware of the process for same

From what I understand, Indians can get VoA in Malaysia if they enter from Thailand. However, I suggest to double check on Malaysia embassy website or just get an eVoA to be safe

Dude, it is. Some 100 people I know have taken and gone also. Its just that now till May 2024 Thailand is visa free for Indians. You may think everyone else is dumb, but sorry to disappoint you, thats not true
