- Here is how you can apply for Indonesian tourist visa. There are actually 2 visa options for you to choose. You can either take the Visa on Arrival (VOA) or the eVisa on Arrival (eVOA). Once you got the eVOA, it is simply like the eVisa, you directly proceed to the immigration counter get the stamp on your passport. No extra steps, as simple as it can be :)

@@TravelingProgrammer Bro need a help. I tried to apply evoa today. For registering my accounf first i Uploaded the pic and passport pic also. All got accepted. Even a pop up came that passport number and pic are same. Then when i tried to register they are showing passport pic and normal pic doesn’t match. Now people can grow fat or thin day by day. #1 in connecting flight scenario (which has layover at Kuala Lumpur) which flight number to put in evoa? (From india to Kuala Lumpur) or from Kuala Lumpur to Denpasar?

ok one doubt while registering I put my name father's name and surname at the end, while filling for e -visa we directly have to fill details like flight hotel only, so I forgot to check name and all, and I checked in passport, surname comes first than name (though in passport there r 2 blocks 1 is surname and 2nd is given name which consists of my name and father's name, it's just surname block is above given name block), will this will cause any issue at the time of immigration?
No problem! Your name is always of the format First name middle name and surname
Surname being on top of given name in passport doesnt change anything

1. 35 USD in cash or similar high value currency. If u dont have change the give IDR for additional amount.

The place of birth on my evoa is showing as "india" instead of the India city and state shown in my passport. this is despite I filling all my details accurately. can this be a reason for rejecting my evoa by the immigration officers at the airport? pls share your thoughts. thanks.
On my eVOA the city and state came as it is. Can’t comment if this will create any problem at immigration, most probably it wont.

I am going to bali with my family along with kids in September 2023.
1. So can i apply for e-voa from single account or I have to make different account for each.
2. Is covid vaccination certificate is mandatory for e visa/entry in bali? Because my wife is not vaccinated (any dose).
Also now no vaccination were done by govt, so i am unable to vaccinate her.

1. Different accounts for different applicants.
2. To enter Bali, it is one of the requirements but it is not required to get the visa issued. You might be asked to produce the certificate once you land in Bali. (FYI - I was not asked to show my vaccination proof anywhere in Bali)

Did you face any issue while travelling with e-visa than the traditional method. Also, is there any separate immigration counter/line for e-visa?
If you apply this, can you straight away head to immigration counter after debarking the flight?
No issues at all. As I mentioned in the video, you can directly proceed to immigration after debarking.

while filling eVOA, i put my arrival date which shows as deperture date in the review window. it is a bug in their webiste, but i'm deparing from delhi on 3july to kuala lumpur to bali, thereby reaching bali on 4th july. So if i put arrival date as 4 july, it shows departure date as 4 july. is it ok?

How do you know that a credit card is internationally accepted ?
Usually on debit cards it is mentioned as “International debit card” and credit cards usually are by default international only. You can cross check the international online usage is enabled in your netbanking/mobile banking

Evoa holders directly proceed to immigration
EVOA on arrival date is from the date you register on site or from the date of arrival in the country
Arrival date is the date when you will enter their country

I kept arrival date as 13/9/2023 and I applied today. so 30 days will be count from arrival date or I have to use visa between today to 13/9/2023

Also, do they check for hotel confirmations? Cause one and the first hotel is an invitation for my conference.
First hotel name is fine. They usually dont check hotel confirmations. If they check you can on the spot book free cancellation, no pre payment, no credit card required hotel from booking.com and cancel after showing

i . How much Indian Currency (cash) can i carry from INDIA ? Or Do i need to exchange in IDR before my deperture from INDIA ?
ii. If i take niyo etc cards then how will i log in there as my Indian phn no. Will not be working there for otp etc.
iii. Before taking sim card how can i book a 🚕 from airport or should i book it from India ?
1.1 Carrying INR outside india above a certain amount (5k I guess) is illegal. Secondly, exchanging INR for IDR is a loss making proposition. I suggest INR -> USD -> IDR. Carry usd to bali
1.2 When swiping any card at any POS, you never get an OTP (even in India), only pin is required.
1.3 When you exit Bali airport, there are many sim counters selling sims with instant activation. Using that local number you cab signup on the grab app and get a cab instantly.

Like any other customs, I don’t recommend carrying a packed mobile phone with you. You might have to declare and pay duty. Recommended would be to unpack the mobile. Keep it in your handbag as if it’s your personal phone. Keep the empty box in check in bag and when you reach bali you can repack and gift.
