About Josh Turner Guitar
Josh began making TH-cam videos in 2007. Ranging from popular to esoteric, local to far flung, and playful to serious, Josh’s videos offer a little something for everyone. Josh also performs regularly with long-time collaborator, Carson McKee, as the folk duo The Other Favorites. Josh’s first full-length solo album, As Good A Place As Any, was released in April 2019.

It's the best album of the 60s. Beatles are overrated.
Maybe. But, that is only because the Kinks (like the Beatles) had a habit of not putting singles on their albums. Ray Davies is my favorite singer-songwriter of the great "British Invasion" era acts. I love that the internet can give exposure to albums and artist who have been discussed as "underrated" for decades. Next best thing to record store conversations.

No matter what, 2020 is still "our year," and I'm still kickin' to make it work. My graduation is delayed and school isn't what it used to be, but this year took a LONG time to come and by golly I'm still celebrating everything I've done and experienced in the past four years, even if I have to modify what I was planning on doing. Here's to the class of 2020!
UPDATE: I just graduated today, as the salutatorian of my class. Here’s to making it work!

I'm single and retired and listening to you and your friends fills my heart and home with beautiful music and memories of old friends when we used to the same. Thank you again for rekindling those old memories for me and enjoy them for yourself, because time flies faster than the moment it contains. As crazy as this year has been, there's been a lot of good too. I had a memorable graduation, I had time for working out, I learned to play bass guitar. None of that would have been possible without 2020 being what it is. In many ways, it really has been "our year".

One of the best tracks from one of my top three favourite albums of all-time, the others being Pet Sounds and Revolver...your version is utterly stunning. Perfect, with enough little differences (the guitar solo, the little vocal coda from an alternate Zombies version).
