Victor, when I first starting zooming with you guys you had just received this jet. I enjoyed watching you build it and I learned so much. I hope some of the parts are salvageable and I hope I get to watch you build another one. Sorry for your loss.
Thanks CVO, I don't know yet what's the plan. Replacement would be nice 😕 if I can get the motor fixed. I lost all the gear with it too like the cortex pro and receiver and uat.
clear and simple Dude owes you a new Jet To the exact caliber of what he destroyed and dam straight i would use your or his AMA as im sure this was sheer negligent and borderline deliberate , hope you get compensated or just get him to wire you a few 4 digit numbers

Anytime I have had a mid air, whether I am to blame or not, I can't hold anyone responsible for crashing into me as I absolutely understand the risk of flying simultaneously with other pilots. Its part of the game and a huge risk, and unless done with mal intent or obviously on purpose or due to completely carelessness (I doubt the other guy wanted to crash), I don't expect any kind of compensation or replacement. He did cut in way too early. He should have either went out wider, or gain more altitude in order to allow you to land as its obvious you were on final. Sorry for the loss bud, can't imagine that was cheap...
@@victorrcjets7660 I purposefully never got into the world of turbine jets because of the huge risk factor. All our RC planes have timers, it's just a matter of when and why :(
Sorry for your loss my friend 😵💫 Not everyone has the skills to pull a well coordinated tandem flight, and that other pilot was clearly one lacking those skills...🤦🏾♂️... Sorry to see the unfortunate end to your beautiful plane. Hoping you are able to get another one like it It was a great flyer and I am sorry for your loss.
Oh no! That is terrible. You did a great job with this plane, and had it flying excellently. It's fun to go to these big events, but the sky is always a bit too crowded.
@@victorrcjets7660 Ouch, it's strange how often that is the case....planes zipping all over the place, and then the midair happens when least crowded. The other pilot should not have been loitering in the area while you were on final. He possibly was trying to clear out of there, but just did the worst possible job of it. Anyway, your enthusiasm for flying has always been infectious and inspirational to others. Keep it up, amigo!
Sorry to see this happen. Unfortunately mid air crashes involve both pilots and both are to blame. Spotters should of also been in full communication with everyone. If they were it's Unfortunately just part of the hobby and we move onto the next build
Definitely his fault. You were on final, he should have control over his plane and cleared the area. I hope he coughs up the cash for that beautiful Sabre. I hope you build another one Vic cause that bird is sexy as hell brother. Sorry for your loss man
That was very sad to see happen me I probably would have kicked his ass because that was uncalled-for he should have given you plenty of room on your Final Approach
Hey Victor and Wi, man it turned my stomach to watch that! I'm so sorry that happened Victor and Wi! Thumbs up for sharing and thumbs down for the other pilot!
Omg. Soooo sorry for your loss. Lots of questions. Why did the other pilot reverse his pattern mid flight ? Why are you flying so slow and so high? Was it a maiden or feeling the field ?
Sorry to see this Victor. Been watching you get this jet ready and then seeing this happen is not just upsetting but infuriating. Unfortunate and avoidable. Sorry to me carries very little meaning when things like this happen. Good luck with the salvageable parts and next AWESOME BUILD!!
Didn’t you guys have spotters? How could this happen. The whole point of having spotters is to prevent these things from happening. Sorry for your loss.
@@12345fowlerI disagree. In jet event, landing planes have the priority and air boss calls out landing so other jets can yield for the landing jets. There is not much a landing jet with gear down and lock, full flaps and speed brake and on approaches to land following the glide path, can do to evasively dodge the collision. The Viper should bug out and create a 180 separation on the other side of the pattern. We know he was trying to set up for a high speed low altitude pass over the edge of the runway and got too close a few times. There were only two in the air instead of full pattern with 6 jets. There’s enough space for him to do his aerobatics in a clear space instead of monkey around a landing jet. Totally the Vipers fault.
What on earth was the spotter doing for the red/white jet, nothing it seems. Mid airs are normally caused by spotters just watching their pilot fly, no sense of pilot flying and pilot monitoring. The spotter should watch/manage the airspace the pilot flys in.
As the person being hit I would love to know what they were doing and saying too. He was clearly in my pattern 🤔 why he wouldn't say. His spotter said he was giving advice but his actions was clearly 🙄 wrong as he could have cleared the area than stay there to turn right into my jet.
