Angelica, as a 29 year old single person with a busy work and personal life your recipes are saving me literally hundreds of dollars a month instead of eating out by prepping large meals to enjoy throughout the week. Thank you!
So I’m watching you make this delicious meal and I actually caught myself blowing on the fork when you showed us the bite you skewered…lol. That’s how absorbed I was in your video. I’M BLOWING ON MY iPAD!!! 🤣😂🤣. I can hardly wait to try this..👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
After years of making standard dishes over and over again (fideo, caldo, spaghetti, arroz con pollo....etc..), my kids started complaining that they wanted more of a variety. I started looking for different types of recipes on youtube and I came across your channel. I absolutely ADORE you! I have made A LOT of your dishes and my children are a lot happier now! Keep up your amazing work!
Delicious Thank you for sharing Angelika have a blessed day stay safe and healthy. Prayers and love my sweet friend. 🙏❤🙏❤🙏🥰🥰🥰Happy Mother's day Angelika. 💐💐💐💐💐
Looks fabulous. It’s a lot like a cheater lasagna I’ve made for years when I just want a small lasagna. I layer cheese ravioli with a thick meat sauce and mozzarella and Parmesan in three layers. Bake and you’ve got all the flavors of lasagna with half the work.
Back in the day when I would cook for various functions in town/at the Catholic church......my signature dish was.......Ravioli Lasagna. Easy as...heck with frozen pasta , a tasty sauce (the sauce is always the Boss in layered pasta dishes) and whatever cheeses I had on hand....Thank you for sharing your lasagna hack!
OH YEEAAAHHH!!! Making this for sure!! It looks sooo DEEE-LICIOUS!! I mean it is sooo saucy, cheesy and very easy to put together. And, the spinach ricotta dollops are the perfect topping. Love that you taste tested your meal at end of your vid. Your expression and seeing how much you are enjoying it makes me want to make it even more. Thanks so much for sharing. Arlene
Hi A!!! I used to always watch Giada. I have not seen this recipe tho. I have never ever bought ravioli. I mite give this a try one day. Looks tasty. Nice Video!!!...
Hello 👋🏽 sweetie thank you for this recipe wow I am definitely gonna try this, it looks very easy n so simple oh Jose is going to love this and telling my daughter to check out your channel for this 👍🏼much blessings 🙏🏼from Diana Vasquez family ❤
That looks absolutely delicious!!! On another note, is Simply Mama Cooks trademarked? If so, I wonder if it would work if you or your attorney were to send FB a trademark infringement cease and desist letter to aid in the removal of the pages. 🤔
I mean really? How can anyone not love this and not want to eat the whole pan. I grew up in an Italian neighborhood luckily and love to cook Italian food even though I’m not Italian. I also love cooking Mexican food and not Mexican. This is a great twist on a conventional recipe.
A bit of sugar added to recipes with tomato sauce to cut the acid. It works. Try it. Just don't overdo it. A little goes a long way. Blessings from Central Florida
I always add half cottage cheese and half ricotta. I also always add spinach to my ricotta mix. Ricotta is good but unless it's fresh from Italy, cottage cheese makes a huge difference.
Looks amazing… when I make it, I’ll probably drain the fat off the meat 2:03 prior to adding the tomatoes and stuff. The cheese at the end will have enough oils when it melts to provide the richness.
You could always cut the recipe down. There are small packages of frozen ravioli that you could substitute. Or, you can even freeze the fresh leftover ravioli. Another option is make the full recipe, and freeze the leftovers in single sized portions.
There's always someone like you. No. It's not lasagna in the traditional sense. But, it would be delicious. Think outside the box. Plus, your analogy is not congruent to this recipe. The recipe uses the basic same ingredients in a different form. Ravioli is still pasta.
Love your recipes watch all your videos but I don’t like your long nails I like clean hands short nails, big long nails look awful they don’t look awful they just dont go whrn you’re cooking
Angelica, as a 29 year old single person with a busy work and personal life your recipes are saving me literally hundreds of dollars a month instead of eating out by prepping large meals to enjoy throughout the week. Thank you!
My grandma always mixed a large egg into the ricotta mixture. It makes it a little silkier and is super easy to mix.

I love the ravioli switch. You are a genius!
I've been making a ravioli casserole for years now. I make it in a casserole dish and it's so easy and delicious.
You just never cease to AMAZE me with your creative recipes. You truly inspire me with your cooking. Thank you from one mama to another.
I make something very similar, using the larger fresh ravioli, add mushroom, spinach,, layer it lasagna. What of my family favorites Great job!

I ALWAYS LOVE All of your replies!❤

Mama love your recipes!! Hubby does to!!! Also wanted to say, LOVE your nails!!!
That looks delicious 😋 and so easy
Thanks for this idea. I make a lasagna with Pene Pasta very much the same way. Except no sugar in my sauce 😮!
Will try this one soon!
Love eating left overs for breakfast. Yummy 😊
thats a really good recipe!!!
🇮🇹 🇺🇸 Hey Angelica!!!!! ❤ 😊
Going to try it !!
Yum!
Yum 😋 1:03
Hmmm. I have cheese tortellini. I bet that would work too!
Yum!!
Giada DeLaurentis did this year's ago. Looked good
Yummy 😊
I like cold pizza for breakfast too..
Hello .really want to try making this, looks simple, but not sure what kind of ravoloni to buy
Yummy 😋 from Barbara 😊
This looks delicious. What would be the purpose of the sugar?
A bit of sugar added to recipes with tomato sauce to cut the acid. It works. Try it. Just don't overdo it. A little goes a long way. Blessings from Central Florida
It's a very easy recipe, and it looks great, too.
You think Facebook would shut down the hackers page.
What is the reason for adding the sugar? Is it to cut the acidity of the tomatoes?
Exactly.
😋
What kind of cheese can be used instead of ricotta?
Cottage cheese can be used instead.
❤❤❤❤
👋🏻🧑🦳😀🍃🍁🍂Yummy! Using what I have, I’m using cottage cheese for the ricotta, mushroom ravioli’s for the cheese, veggies for sausage. We’ll see?
❤💕🌷
Looks amazing. A little basil and Mexican oregano, which is closer to Italian oregano, would also enhance the gravy.
Yes, go rogue- that’s for the great recipe
I always add half cottage cheese and half ricotta. I also always add spinach to my ricotta mix. Ricotta is good but unless it's fresh from Italy, cottage cheese makes a huge difference.
You didn't mention how big the sheet pan is.
Looks amazing… when I make it, I’ll probably drain the fat off the meat 2:03 prior to adding the tomatoes and stuff. The cheese at the end will have enough oils when it melts to provide the richness.
Gorgeous. Unfortunately my husband is allergic to dairy and cooking all of this just for me would be a waste of money.
You could always cut the recipe down. There are small packages of frozen ravioli that you could substitute. Or, you can even freeze the fresh leftover ravioli. Another option is make the full recipe, and freeze the leftovers in single sized portions.
It would be even more delicious if you cubed up an 8 oz package of Cream Cheese and sprinkled it between your ricotta cheese. So good
For the life of me, I don’t understand why the two meats were sautéed separately?
By the way, if you use cottage cheese instead of ricotta cheese, you’re gonna save a lot of calories.
So basically what you’re saying is you’re gonna cook the meat not drain the fat out of it? Who does that?
If you make lasagna with ravioli, it's like making chicken with beef. It's not lasagna
There's always someone like you. No. It's not lasagna in the traditional sense. But, it would be delicious. Think outside the box. Plus, your analogy is not congruent to this recipe. The recipe uses the basic same ingredients in a different form. Ravioli is still pasta.
Who cares? It looks delicious! Just try before voicing a negative opinion.
Love your recipes watch all your videos but I don’t like your long nails I like clean hands short nails, big long nails look awful they don’t look awful they just dont go whrn you’re cooking
