    Finally someone explained this without word salad. I appreciate it. The people complaining don’t understand this is for beginners. He’s not going into all the details that you’re complaining on. I already know Type 2 is slower because it’s an app.

    Amazing. I have no IT background nor am I in the IT industry, but I've seen all these networking terms in the course of messing around with computers and getting it to run games when I was young. Now I finally know what they mean. Cool stuff!!!

    I have never come across such an illustrative teaching like powercert. This is outstanding. I rate you the best. I was just interested in computers, but now am motivated to learn networking and IT in general

    The speaker is superb, gifted, Talented. He covers ALL the bases of any topic he touches. He uses Great tempo, with suggestions for Technology evolution, and also Troubleshooting.     By watching this short video, I understood the meanings of many unknown to me terms, like virtualization, hypervisor and virtual machine. Besides, the video describes how they are connected with each other. Also, it explains the differences between type 1 and type 2 hypervisors. Type 1 hypervisors are being installed on bare/empty metal hardware (without any software installed). While type 2 hypervisors should be installed on top of an operating system. Type 1 hypervisors are for servers meanwhile type 2 hypervisors are for desktop computers.

    These videos are great, they are really helping me to understand the concepts and theory behind networking. I was wondering if there are any resources for practicing that I could pair along with these videos? I'd like to learn how to configure firewalls, switches, networks, etc, as well as practicing my subnetting and whatever else without having to go and buy an entire network for my home. Thanks
