Regardless, I never mentioned anything about John being the first or only to come up with this, I just said that *I* personally, would never have thought of this format, but that *I* think it works really well in *John's* video.

Suggestion:
You do a Pokemon Death Swap with Mikey
You each play a copy of randomized Sword and Shield
After each Gym, u swap save files to sabotoage their save file and try to get the other to whiteout
But theres a catch
For example, if Mikey whiteouts first, it doesnt mean he lost yet, you will have to play that file (you sabotaged it after all) and if you manage to beat the next gym, you win, but if you dont, Mikey wins
So thats prevent someone from sabotaging too harsh

I came up with this Randomizer Nuzlock challenge idea. I’d love to see what you think of it.
Random evos every level, random movesets and abilities. Each gym badge you obtain you get one everstone to lock in evolutions (can also cancel evo if another held item is given) if you lose the Pokémon holding a stone you also lose the stone. 8 lock ins allows 2 deaths before the elite 4 while maintaining a picked team of 6.
So basically just a normal full randomized evo run (minus Type and stats) but with Everstones allowed to make it easier.
@@KaleidosXXI I guess you could make it to where you can’t change the head item once you lock in the evo. Adds the challenge of no held items

I love how you completely forgot that both of Brock's Pokémon are also Ground type, which are weak to Ice. 😂
Rock/Ground was always a funny type combo to me. In gen 1, they just went ham with it, with every non-fossil rock type being that. Then... we got 2 in gen 2, and an evo of a gen 1 mon... and aside from them, they never gave anyone that type combo again. It's as if they thought "yeah, this gonna be good", and then noticed the type combo was complete crap.
It's like bug/poison, bug/flying, grass/poison where we had so many of them in the first few gens, but after gen 5 they seemed to become sick of that type combo and just... stopped.
Or how they had 6 rock/steel types in gen 3/4 on monsters supposed to be defensive powerhouses... then apparently noticed the type combo actually was absolutely terrible and never touched it again.

While I love the idea behind different types for different gyms, I get more of a kick out of specific PC boxes for different types.
I do that, besides unknown, they get one of their own.
I thought I was the only one that gave Unown it's own box, for each Unown variant. Togepi may be my favorite Pokemon, Cyndaquil may be my favorite starter, but Unown is my favorite underrated Pokemon.
I like collecting them. Habit I guess, save Gen 4, hippowdon.
Favourite Pokémon would have to be Gardevoir, Starter would be Eevee, Underrated would be Mawile, assuming that's still the case, if not then Froslass.

Ice would have been good against rock because even though it is weak to it. It is super effective on both of Brock’s Pokémon since they are part ground type.
I was worried that even if I could find an ice Pokemon I'd only find one maximum and Brock would destroy it repeatedly. I really banked on the abundance of normal type Pokemon coming through for me

This is actually pretty similar to the Pokemon Swaplocke I'm doing in BDSP right now. Except I use an online type wheel to tell me what type to use rather than a TikTok filter.
I would have personally taken the Ice type against Brock, given how his team are part Ground and thus weak to Ice. And I would have taken Ice at the end because I love Ice types.
