For a purely introduced-in-Gen-4 team, the weakest six fully evolved Pokémon (according to stats) would be Kricketune (384), Pachirisu (405), Bibarel (410), Wormadam/Mothim (424), Purugly (452), and Carnivine (454). However, with unevolved pokemon, we have Kricketot (194), Burmy (224), Combee (244), Starly (245), Bidoof (250 - the same stat total as Smeargle), and Shinx (263). It’s interesting how baby Pokémon with such low stats can (sometimes) become such powerful team members later on. Also, I didn’t realize Smeargle’s stats were that awful until I did my research, yikes.
@@emminet Because 452 at that point in the game is super strong and that hideously underlevelled Purugly can use its two stats, the absurd speed and decent attack (for that point in the game) to wreak havoc on your 200-300s stat pokémon.

I played a nuzlocke of this game as my first play through and had pachirisu on my team and named it "slayer" It really lived up to its name surprisingly (it survived until the end and was one of my most reliable team members ^^)
In Shield I used the gift Eevee for my play through. She was the weakest ‘Mon, but dang, could she Retaliate and Gigantimax! I kept her around as the team mascot
@@alucard8433 while Pachirisu is pretty good in doubles with follow me and fake out support, it’s usually somewhat lacking in singles, with very low attacking stats. I like using it in play-throughs though. I have used one many a time when I wanted to use something other than Luxray lol. Also it’s a cute little squirrel what’s not to love?

The level 1 Burmy means Mikey either got one in a surprise trade from someone that was breeding for a shiny, or specifically bred a Burmy for John. The second would be funnier, so I'm gonna choose to believe that. Even though the other way was probably the reality.

I used a different team that wasn’t super strong or weak. Empoleon, Froslass, Machamp, Roserade, Houndoom and Gastrodon. I had like 2 pokemon that a lot of people used, gastrodon and Empoleon. This team was the best one I’ve used. Fun game, and actually challenging.
You know that is a really cool team. I wanted to repeat some of my old Pokemon from my platinum team. It was Infernape, togekiss, garchomp, luxray, weavile(yes weavile at the victory road😭)and roserade.

Gastrodon also had storm drain to cover my houndoom’s water weakness. Sure, could have used Garchomp, but that would be lame, and if I were to use hippowdon or something sandstorm would hit most of my team so I chose to have gastrodon as a sponge for electric and water moves and as my tank while Empoleon covered fairy with its steel typing and all that. I had some strategy behind it.
I love how the very first sentence of the video acknowledges one of the biggest flaws of Sinnoh. Virtually EVERYONE has been using the same Sinnoh team for 15 years, yet no one seems to care. Watching Sinnoh playthroughs gets boring when you constantly see the same team over and over again.

YOOO I RECOMMENDED THIS! I've been planning on using Grotle, Lumineon, Wormadam, Pachirisu, Sudowoodo, and Chatot. A good way to appreciate the bad Sinnoh mons.
Wormadam is basically a weaker Scizor, and since there's only a couple fire types in this game even with the Grand Underground, Wormadam is incredibly OP in Sinnoh.

I was excited to play through these games since I didn’t get to when they came out, so over the last few years I have wanted to use my favorites when I can...this is one of those games that makes me realize that most of my favorite Pokémon aren’t very good. But I’m still having a blast and kicking ass (Chimecho, Pachirisu, Mothim, Gligar, Infernape and Togepi)
