Honestly vive alwasy thought that hes always Been the brain of mutemath.....the drummer was ok but was not the best drummer....I think Darren was the more for show cause the guy had carisma....but that's about it.
I'm making my first youtube comment ever to say thank you, Paul. I know it sounds cliche, but you're music changed my life. Please never stop sharing the talents God gave you. This is amazing work.
@@craigdaily4510 Craig my only regret in life is only having seen them twice live in their first year! I kick myself for not having caught every single concert after that, even in neighboring states, the hours drive would have been worth it. THEY WERE SO MAGIC LIVE!!! It makes me cry to think that part is over 😭
Same here buddy. I'm in love with this band since 2014. This song really reminded me of those beautiful songs from armistice and lost soul. But I really feel heavy hearted sometimes thinking how everyone has left the band. Tbh I miss the old band mates. Together they were wonderful. 💖
man, to go from leading a band like Mutemath, then experience defection of musicians, the break-up of the band and the subsequent loss of a giant creative outlet, that’s just a huge loss. i can’t imagine the depression that would descend on an artist of Paul’s caliber after losing all of that. i’m guessing that he can’t NOT make his music. he has too much talent to be denied a proper outlet for it. i’m glad he’s doing this solo thing. the band was killer. this is also killer.
Not sure why Twenty One Pilots fans got upset because this guys name was all over the credits for Trench, why would you not want this guy helping on an album?
This is when you know what you where sent here to do! First time I saw him he was making music out of a light guitar or something equally as incredible and I was sold and hooked!
This is when you know what you where sent here to do! First time I saw him he was making music out of a light guitar or something equally as incredible and I was sold and hooked! God give me a talent as great as this+
Honestly, for someone who wants to become a music artist and producer, this makes me want to take training from Paul. This has given me so much inspiration. Thank you ❤️
I'm pretty dang sure all that separates the top 1% is that they put more time in it than the rest of the 99%. That includes time with: Instruments: ear training, technique, improv Engineering: electrical engineering, mixing, gear, $$ Songwriting: theory, history (listen to everything) Lyrics: read philosophy and literature. And last have fun. If you think Paul has some kind of secret knowledge you're unnecessarily widening the gap.
@@bradspitt3896 thanks man , I think I needed this comment. I'm a year into music production now and I feel I have a lot too learn still, but I 100% agree, and that's what I strive for 👍
Paul and the rest of mutemath used to play at my church. Watching this makes me regret not pursuing music further, he's a musical genius and a talented vocalist, he's really good at what he does (:
everyday I come back to this. sometimes for the musical skills, sometimes for the good music, sometimes to relax, sometimes do vibe together, but everyday I just back and love this video again.
Guys, he really DID play TWO keyboard parts on two different keyboards. He plays bassline and melody or bassline and chords, either way, much more complex than most left+right hand playing. There are parts where he really did play two melodic parts at once. Just listen and watch carefully at the same time. It's really crazy.
I'm watching this for like the thousandth time! And each time I watch and listen, I'm always blown away as much as the first time! Truly. Your artistry is nothing short of phenomenal!! I couldn't put enough exclamation points to convey how much I love your solo looping videos. Much respect

Here in the beginning of 2022 this song is my anthem. Everything's New! Love you Paul! Meeting you like 14 years ago was a highlight of my life. Never been to a better show than Mutemath. You are my musical inspiration.
me siento agradecido con la vida por guiarme con musica tan genial como Mutemath en todas sus etapas. siempre es un deleite escucharlos, please come back 2023.
I love this organized and sophisticated thought out even when I record spontaneously. I thank God for such a talented producer and musician, his work gave me a lot. His music is uplifting and ethereal. Read her soul and heart. God bless u Paul 🙏👼♥️
There’s something about watching you perform this song that just elevates it on an entirely new level - and it was already way up there. Loved you since day one. Thank you for keeping the essence of Mutemath alive 💕
Had this playing in my head all day, and I finally got around to listening to it again. I'm glad to say, the real thing is even better than I remembered. :D

Paul, you really incredible Guy... Man you have the best Voice that i heard... Awesome.... Great job.... Hugs from Brazil.... I apreciate Very much you job and MuteMath of course.....
This song resonated and took me back to when I first started listening to MuteMath. It’s been years since I last listened but I’m glad I found a record to bring me back.
Honestly I don't really know about Muthemath but I do know quite a lot about the industry and this man should start is own career, bands come an go, but he is a genius, and deserve to have a successful solo career.
Fine, then I'll do it all myself!
Ruben Quinones right? Super talented guy

Paul Meany isn’t even from this world. I mean, look at this musical genius.
THE best❤
Seriously to the thousandth degree
He is from another planet dude! Alien
Modern day composer. God gifted talent.
He, Benn Jordan, and Jacob Collier aren't from this planet. I'd love to hear the three of them do a project 😍

Much better than the original imo. Seeing him do this all live is super cool. Wish I had that many keyboards haha
