- Patrick Mahomes led another Kansas City Chiefs game winning drive yesterday hitting Travis Kelce for his third touchdown with 31 seconds left. Mahomes finished with 329 passing yards and those three touchdowns in the 30-27 win over the Los Angeles Chargers. Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe determine if the NFL MVP award is Mahomes’ to lose.

If Hurts numbers were even comparable to Mahomes while adding in his team is 9-1, then maybe it's a discussion. A difference of 1 loss is not nearly as sizable as the enormous gap in production. And looking at the impact on their teams it's honestly not that close. I love Hurts tho and I think he's in the conversation. But Shannon is absolutely right.
