    As a 70-year-old training for the senior circuit 100 meters, my older kidneys can't process creatine monohydrate anymore, as it considerably negatively impacts my GFR. But, I do the whey protein and the collagen with C, so it's good to know they're good supplements to my training.

    Creatine does cause cramps for me. And I think it’s because I don’t drink enough water. I use to train without Creatine normally, I decided to take Creatine, only drank 2 bottles of water and caught 2 cramps 2 days straight, i then stopped taking it then the cramps stopped so it definitely produces cramps if you don’t drink enough water lol. Also it made my hairline go back and I’m only 15, after awhile of taking it I realized the thinning. I stopped and now my hair is back to normal, so ye. I don’t think the side effects are to everybody but I think it’s just relative lol.

      I just started taking creatine but I drink at least 2 gallons of water a day, couple years back my hair started thinning but that's because my grandpa started thinning when he was around my age. I saw these oils that naturally help your hair grow back I started using them on my head not only did I notice my hair was growing back but the hair on the top of my head got thicker and darker

    • @nahh2878

      @@mitchellmiller3176 what’s the oil called?

    • @mitchellmiller3176
      @mitchellmiller3176 ปีที่แล้ว

      @nahh2878 it's actually six oils that you mix into one, 2 oz of almond oil, 2 oz of castor oil, 1 oz of coconut oil, 1 oz of jojoba oil 1 oz of vitamin E oil and 1 oz of emu oil. Massage it into your scalp for about 3 to 5 minutes 2 to 3 times a week before you go to bed, put a towel over your pillow if you don't want your pillowcase to get full of oil.

    With Beta Alanine being a lactic acid buffer, will a 400m runner's performance drastically decrease if they cycle off it, since they might not be accustomed to the lactic levels related with cycling off beta alanine?

    • @GarageStrength
      @GarageStrength  4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Results will not. There may be greater fatigue, but we find that while it does help in a comp setting and doing hard training, if you prep right for a race it will not drastically impact the result, just make better results possibly easier.
