    Just a heads up as I've had a bunch asking...none of these supplements are on the banned list for the NCAA. So you are fine to take any of these and you will NOT fail any drug test.

      I i want to use whey protein and i am interested through how much time can be seen progress.I run 400 m hurdles and i have very hard trainings so food is just not enough.

      thanks glad you're enjoying the videos! Protein is something that you don't really notice the effects of but it will absolutely help with proper recovery and muscle repair over time and if you're not getting enough it will definitely affect your times negatively.

    My experience with protein isolate shakes (both whey and pea) is that, over a few weeks, it slows digestion down and causes one to retain more waste, even when taking probiotics. That could be just me, though. A large (12oz) can of tuna has 75 grams of protein, and seems to pass through and be assimilated easily. When you are training and racing, you don't want to be carrying a lot of waste. Without being too obsessed with it, I think sprinters need to be aware of their weight and best 'race weight.' Strength to weight ratio seems important.

    I understand these supplements are safe but is using all four products everyday safe ? I was wondering if the body will act differently with these foreign substances overtime?

      Usually not if you train to keep them not chilling in your body. But each person is different. You should try and see. If you feel anything, back off.

      Check out for supplements online... Protein powder is good as your body needs protein to build and repair muscle . Check out for BCAAs too

      Protein powder is just a supplement to get that added, quick digesting protein into your body without sacrificing too much on eating too many calories, like 25grams of protein in a scoop only has roughly 130 kcals. But if you can get all of your protein requirements through food, that's more than enough, but I'd recommend you take protein since it's much easier to digest as compared to meat. However, it's only a supplement, it's not a food replacement, so whole foods are far more important.

      Supplements aren't dangerous, they just supplement your food, more precisely help getting the extra that you don't get in modern food. Age doesn't matter to be fair. What kind of supplements are you considering taking ?

      I honestly don't see why not using it. Bcaa's are the building blocks of protein, and creatine is found in food like meat as well. Go for it mate.

      I wouldn't recommend taking supplements until at least 10-12 years old. Before that eating food should be more than sufficient.

      One of my Sons 8th grade football coaches told me about it, so I looked into it I have been a HS coach for a long time so I let him give it a try.
      It seemed to help him w/ his allergies as far as getting a better nights sleep, and he said it did help him get through practices and games as he was starting at Corner Back on Def, Slot Back and WR on Off, and was on all special teams as well so unless we had a big lead he really never came off the field.
      It's suppose to help w/ energy, cognitive clarity and helps muscles from breaking down and being used as a fuel source thats why I was wondering if it was in some of your supplements. I had him taking 1500mg: 500 x3 (an adult can take about 3000mg/day at his age I wasn't going to let him take that amount) on participation days on off days I just had him taking 500mg for his allergies. once the season ended I had him stop so his body wasn't relying on it as much.
      He also runs track w/ the shorter sprint events and has begun lifting so I'll be starting him up again and maybe have to look into some of the supplements you showed.
      I would like to ask you a few question on a workout routine for 8th graders with track as that wasn't my specialty, I've learned a lot from your videos but would like a good warm up routine and sequencing training since at the JR High level his coaches well aren't very knowledgeable is there a way to contact you and I can give you his events and times, I also know some weakness of his that we have to work on.

    Hello there I have a question. I’d be happy if you answer.
    I’m a sportsman since 2008!and I started with bodybuilding first. And then I kept doing bodybuilding until 2013. Then I started Muay Thai and I used bcaa, proteins. After 2015 I stopped taking supplements and I got injuries. I used to take PRO GAINER , BCAA 1 :4:4 I guess it was that. It was pill 💊 form. So my question is that since I stopped taking these supplements I got injuries. But I just wonder were they really helping me to avoid injuries or it’s just inside my head ? And what other supplements do you suggest for a combat athlete ? I mean to avoid injuries and have fast recovery ? THANK YOU !

    I used to buy and use Twinlab Ultra fuel, primarily for hiking/backpacking. Unfortunately they don't make it anymore. It contained complex carbohydrates. It also contained lots of calories, vitamins, electrolytes etc. It could've been best described as Gatorade on steroids. It wasn't your typical protein and calorie weight gain/bodybuilding supplement. It didn't contain protein at all, I don't think. But it was great for long duration type exercises like backpacking and running etc, because it boosted low blood sugar, provided supplemental calories, replenished electrolytes and rehydrated you. Plus vitamins. I used it on the Appalachian trail 3 times, and NOT just as a 'recovery drink'. I mixed it in a Nalgene bottle and drank it throughout the day.
    Do you know of any other products that fit that description(even if they include some protein) and does Endurox r4 fit that bill? Thanks

    the caffeine in jack3d had nothing to do with people getting flagged on drug tests. It was the 1'3 DMAA in it. That was the stuff that actually made you feel like you were on crack....
    The caffeine content was actually pretty low (per scoop) compared to a lot of other pre's out there today.

      as long as you won't be working out for me than an hour to an hour and a half then pre workout will be great so sure :)

      if you're only doing one or two races you could probably use it. But if you have a full day of running you'd want to be careful as some pre-workouts can cause a crash after the initial energy kick fades away.

    I eat a healthy well balanced diet around 3000-3500kcal and sometimes get bloated. I run too and want to get stronger and more powerful. I’m skinny even when I eat to a point of being full. Any good supplements for that?

    Jaret I started running middle distance in grade 8-10, but now I've moved to a new country and I wanted to go into sprinting.       thechickboy100 haha great question. I'm very picky as well when it comes to protein powder. This is the best one I've used hands down. It mixes very well so there aren't clumps and it tastes fantastic mixed with milk. Both flavors are great. Vanilla is prob my fav though.

      Bdog James if you take the 5 grams per day you don't have to cycle off ever. Just take the 5 grams each day forever and you'll be good to go.

      David Adesegun yes you can absolutely become an Olympic caliber athlete at any height. As for weight it really just depends. Focus more on being as strong and as light as possible 👍

      Use only creatine and protien... these 2 are best . Avoid others they are expensive and don't do much

      yes these supplements apply to any athlete that is training, running, lifting etc.

    when you do runs in the winter for 400m, whats the distance you do? is it any more than 5k?

      This is just my opinion, but I'd imagine 5k is a bit too much. 2 miles max. 3 would be pushing it.

    I have heard that cycling creatine is necessary. When should you take it and when should you have a break. I am a track athlete(100m/200m) and in my home country Estonia season starts roughly in the end of May and ends in August. In the coming season my biggest competion will be the U20 European Championships which are held in the end of July. Last season I started taking monohydrate in March and continued all the way to July. So my question is again, when should I start taking the creatine?
