Hi there Sir! I really love the concept of "Shared Value" and Thx for building and sharing its Theoretical and Empirical framework. II. The Good News is about the Timing of this concept and its purpose. 2.1. When we analyze the Pyramid of Maslow, we realize that more people become rich (high income) more the consumption of tertized goods and services become their main target (compared to the primary and secondary goods and services). Fortunately, structural and technological changes of the past 100 years did transform US into High-income and Upstream economy while providing significant income (prosperity) opportunities.
2.2. Radical innovations of the past 5 decades did provide also significant productivity gains that in turn help corporates upgrade in value chains. You did focus for example on the impact of Internet Revolution on industry structure. Since then, high level of profitability and productivity makes it easier for the corporates to focus more on issues like: a) Environmental issues. b) Ethical issues. c) The minimization of reputational risis. d) Societal issues (democracy, inclusion, gender-mix among others).e) Shared value. III. Therefore, more we'll continue to help them boost their product and process innovations and offer to them more profitability and productivity opportunities, more it'll be easy for them to simultaneously adopt Stakeholder-centric, Customer-oriented, Employee-centric, Environmentally-oriented, Ethically-oriented, City-oriented and Risk-centric Business Model and Technology.
How is "Purpose" different from "mission"? As, mission is also about why a company exists. Are these interchangeably used or "Purpose" is a term that people like to hear now
Mission is what your company is doing or is going to do in order to achieve your vision. Purpose can be seen in retrospective as why have you done things and why have those things matter to you.
