  • Institute for Competitiveness, India is the Indian knot in the global network of the Institute for Strategy and Competitiveness at Harvard Business School. Institute for Competitiveness, India is an international initiative centred in India, dedicated to enlarging and purposeful disseminating of the body of research and knowledge on competition and strategy, as pioneered over the last 25 years by Professor Michael Porter of the Institute for Strategy and Competitiveness at Harvard Business School. Institute for Competitiveness, India conducts and supports indigenous research, offers academic and executive courses, and provides advisory services to the Corporate and the Governments. The institute studies competition and its implications for company strategy; the competitiveness of nations, regions & cities and thus generate guidelines for businesses and those in governance; and suggests and provides solutions for socio-economic problems.

    Porter's lectures are always fascinating. He can transmit the concept in a clear and concise way, furthermore adress this important issues with it.

    This is a strange talk. Capitalism is literally defined as companies solving problems/needs and making money (a profit) doing it. This is across every field, and sometimes it solves a social problem (if there is money to be made) and often times it doesn’t. This idea of Shared Value being a new concept basically outlines what companies already do “if” there is money to be made, it just gave a name to “Capitalism that also solves a social problem”..

      Does capitalism resonates well with what he explained? Capitalism is definitely not on the same wavelength with shared value. The departure from capitalism is not too far but the difference makes a whole lot of shift in ideology.

    Selfish is the main problem,they don't understand about the accurator in economonic.This cause demand aggrerate feedback.Share value is the best way to distribute the economy flow into macro system.Why Bill gate donate big money to society.
