when was the last time you see a big budget movie with 95% practical costume and make up instead of green screen and dots all over the actors, to the point that even their bloopers outtakes feels like it was actually happening in that fictional world....
I love how with the practical effects and costumes, everyone still looks like monsters and mythical creatures when they fuck up or goof around, makes the bloopers way funnier

The movie that actually came out was one of the worst theater experiences I've had last year. All that lore and good characters was wasted on a dumpster fire of movie that is Hellboy 2019. One good thing to come out of him ducking out on his commitment is that Guillermo went on to make The Shape of Water and got an Oscar for it.
