This is a perfect example of what is *not* a "making of". They used to have real "making of" videos about films, but now they use that title to lure people in as a marketing/promotional piece, and the whole video is nothing but interviews of the cast while they show clips of camera operators on the set filming scenes and the director saying cut, etc. A real "making of" about an effects film should be more like a documentary that *explains* how the effects are created, shows steps in making the masks, the CG, editing, etc - not just hearing what the actors think about their character overlaid on top of video from the stage set during production.
I totally agree with you. I just saw the first Hellboy film in my house and when it ended all i could think of was "man the special effects of this movie are amazing" and i wanted to see how they made the entire CG, animatronics, costumes and make up, not just the actors. They are important but in this kind of films when the most interesting is the action and the effects they are in a second place for me.
Man, Doug Jones, Ron Perlman and Luke Goss. Really liked this movie, great job!
I just can not see how the new Hell Boy film could be better than the ones directed by Guillermo
