Really helped me a lot. Only had 101MP and M-1 Mic for two days. I came from a Flex 6400M and Heil 781 so this part of configuring was a difficult one and my audio reports said muffled and way too bass. To take it slow I turned off the EQ settings on the 101MP and only used the EQ settings on the M-1. Actually using the default M-1 settings on MEMORY #2. Immediately people commented about the great audio with out asking for a audio. Check. This rig and mic are fantastic. Thank you for your video it was very helpful. de K8CGS
Thank you for your great comment yes am glad to hear that and yes you are right that is a very good rig and mic also and it works realy good so thank you again and wish you good luck hope we hear us on the bands vy 73 de Bert PA5HR
Hello Bert. de KD1IX. Very nice video. I am recovering from open heart surgery but in less than 3 months, I will be purchasing a new FT DX10 along with this microphone. Shopping therapy! I too play guitar and do ham radio. I just started learning guitar 3 years ago but I'm doing quite well. I see you are more into metal (possibly). I have a Fender and an Epiphone Les Paul but my main go to guitar is my Zager ZAD900CE Acoustic. I love how light it is and I can just pick it up and play along with songs without having to fire up the amp, etc. Take care, John from MI USA
Hello John nice to here that you play Guitar also and yes am more in Metal Music at Home but i play sometimes Blues and Ballads i have also a good sounding Acoustic Guitar these Guitar can i play unplugged so you need no Power and no Amp...( Hi ) okay Dear John very nice to here that you are buy the Yaesu FTdx10 it is a very nice Rig and easy to setting up you can see that in my Video so hope everything goes wel with your recovering from the Open Heart surgery and maybe we have a chance to hear us on the Bands...wish you all the very best for You and yours Vy 73 de Bert PA5HR

merci pour votre réaction le micro ne s'éteint pas automatiquement il faut le régler manuellement sur linéaire l'égaliseur du micro est indépendant du TRX .... vy 73 de Bert PA5HR P.S. sorry but my French is not so good hope you understand it.....Bert PA5HR

Hello and thank you for the reaction but the Settings for me works very good and sounds realy nice very crisp and clear with much dynamic in my Modulation so am very glad with my Settings maybe it can be with the EQ off in the Transceiver but i tried many Settings and this gave me the best results and sounds best and my voice is crisp and claer with much Dynamic that was for me everything what i want so thanks again Vy 73 de Bert PA5HR
Hello friend, good video, congratulations, in advance I send you greetings from Chihuahua Chihuahua Mexico, my question, I have a Yaesu ft710 radio, I do not have to make any modifications to the microphone wiring. thank you 🙂
I am disappointed that Yaesu didn't incorporate a backlight for the display with an on/off button. Leaves me feeling shortchanged considering the effort they put into the radio displays, let alone the cost!
Hello John i have nothing chance in the AMC Settings that must be the Factory Settings in the FTdx101MP so i have nothing change there.... and the Settings are on the Middel thanks agn vy 73 Bert PA5HR
I would love to hear a clip of your audio. Those settings make absolutely NO sense what so ever. The average frequency of the human voice falls between 1k and 2k, so why would you completely cut that out of your signal??
Hello There and thank you for your comment, but i must say that the Settings what i use here make very good sense because it sounds very nice crisp and clear with much Dynamic in the low Frequency. But it is for sure a good idea to make a clip about my Audio how it sounds like so wisch you all the best Vy 73 Bert PA5HR
Hallo Bert, gut gemacht ;-) Viele Grüße DB9FA Andreas

If your using the eq settings on the mic surely you would need to turn off the eq settings on the radio ??
