Last june, Aus gov cut off their 189 visa score to 85 point for registered nurses. Those meant that if you are living in offshore, you need to have more than 7yrs career as a RN, you should get highst eng score, until you being 31yrs old. Yes the health care giver's era is gone. I storongly recommend if you have other option just considering other conturies too.
@catcoin- which website shows this "cut off" to 85 points for nurses? is this official or just based from people who post online? we want to know because we are still hoping to apply with around 65-70 points for 189 or 190
Please dear Martina, it is greatfull what you and your colaborators are doing to bring very crutial informations to us. I just want you to do quasi the same thing for someone who is wanting to immigrate in regional Australia for work in miming, chemistry and construction domain. That could be very helpfull.
Hi Martina .. pls make video on Enrolled Nurse and what are the steps need to be taken after completing enrolled nurse program to reach to PR In Australia. Thank you . This question is for Onshore Student in Australia.
Hi :) That's pretty much covered in the video, when the Migration Agent talks about visas available, the application process, general requirements, and how to get registration as a healthcare worker (this information is for both onshore and offshore).
Hey! highly recommend watching one of our videos where a University teacher talks about how to get jobs in teaching here in Australia th-cam.com/video/PHecwsCezVo/w-d-xo.html
Healthcare occupations include doctors, nurses, dentists, veterinarians, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, optometrists, general practitioners, psychologists, allied health professionals, pharmacists, radiographers, speech pathologists, podiatrists, dietitians and more (you can check the Skilled Occupation List to find if your occupation). For aged care services, aged care nurse is included. Health promotion officers do not seem to be for migration purposes.
Is it possible to study for a healthcare cert in Australia then work there in 40s? Also is it possible to still get PR for over 45 years old in healthcare industry?
Hello Under In which subclass visa available for pharmacist in australia i have done Bachelor of pharmacy from home country india & also have more than 3years of work experience
Hi :) All you need to know is in the video (each visa available, requirements, how to apply for a visa, how to calculate your points, skills assessments, registration, incentives, OET test, and much more). If you need 1:1 support, highly recommend getting in touch with a registered migration agent. Hope this helps.
Martina, G'Day (Hola) I am interested in the Australian Retirement Visa (Subclass 410). But I have noticed that it has been discontinued. Do you have any idea when it might be reinstated? American 63 years old, wife 53 years old. Thank you.
Hi :) The best thing you can do is to follow updates on the Department of Home Affairs website, or get in touch with a MARA-registered migration agent (portal.mara.gov.au/search-the-register-of-migration-agents/) as they are your best sources for legal migration advice - because the migration landscape is constantly changing! (Please do not accept advice from people who are not registered migration agents, it is illegal to provide professional migration /visa advice without registration).
Hi dear, Silly doubt. Do I need ANMAC assessment if I come to Australia on a 482 visa? One of the hospitals is ready to give me 482 visa. Once I am coming closer to expiration of that I will apply for PR. So when is ANMAC neccessary? Is it when I apply for PR. or now? Is there any validity for ANMAC assessment? I am a Critical Care Registered Nurse in Ireland working here for the last 5 years and another 5 years in home country. I am also APHRA registered.
@@LogasanthiE Hi. Not really. But according to my research, 482 visa does not have any age restriction, and is eligible for PR pathway if the salary package was above or atleast as much as the Fair Work High Income Threshold.
I am anesthesia technician with 9 years of clinical experience currently working in UAE. I want to register and apply kindly can you help me or share some links on how to register
All you need to know about how to migrate and relocate to Australia is covered in the video :) If you need 1:1 support, highly recommend getting in touch with a MARA-registered migration agent.
Hi Martina.. I am working as a mental health nurse in the UK, but i did my college education in Kenya. Do i need to upgrade to a degree before switching to Australia?
Hey :) You probably need to get a skills assessment to assess the comparability of your international qualification to the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) + your UK experience. But highly recommend getting in touch with a MARA-registered migration agent or checking the requirements and relevant skills assessment authority in the Department of Home Affairs website.
Use this link to access registered migration agents in Australia who can give you the relevant immigration advice: www.mara.gov.au/ Also, watch these TH-cam channels: www.youtube.com/@NurseDeo AND www.youtube.com/@janekennixcreation (both nurses live in Australia, one of them recently moved to Australia from the UK, the other has been living in Aussie for years and they both have wealth of step by step information on their channels). Hope this helps. Take care dear
From a migration point of view, the Department of Home Affairs accepts a variety of tests. But the OET Test is the leading one for healthcare professionals (as mentioned in the video, all the OET questions are relevant to healthcare, and not other topics - so it makes it easier to study and prepare for the test if you are in the healthcare industry - you know what to expect basically).
