Only half way through the video and I realised I gave you NO context for the readathons and spreads 😂😂 but it’s actually been quite fun watching you guess. Thank you so much for featuring my journal. It’s so odd, but so cool seeing it in one of your videos! 🥰 🥰

a really great option for printing the covers is an hp sprocket!!! Erin Smith uses one for her reading journal and I loved the idea so much I had to get myself one for my journaling! definitely worth looking into 💕
Vogel was going to get me one for Christmas a couple of years back, but then the guy at the store said they weren't getting any more papers for it 😝 dunno if it was just a "that store" thing, but fo reals, I need a new printer anyways. Maybe I can make this the push that gets me to get one 😂

I got excited about the silliest thing: i've been purchasing planning with kay stickers for a few years and recognized them immediately.. They are hand drawn on her ipad and so reasonably priced. (as a canadian I purchase only a few usa products due to the shipping and hers are so worth it). Oh, and great video. Love the rating system.
Started out the year thinking I’d only read like 20 books cause I’m a new reader… and so I started making all my review spreads long and very decorative… big mistake, HUGE😂 ! I got burnt out and am Still stuck in April in that journal cause I’ve read more like 100+ this year 🤦🏼♀️. I’m gonna start keeping things less decorative and a lot shorter I think- once I start back up! ❤
Totally fair 😂 I LOVE the look of the full decorative page reviews, but even with my only 23ish reads this year, I know I wouldn’t have been bothered to keep up with doing those kind of reviews 😝 you’ve got an impressive reading count for the year! 😄💜
I love this! Thanks so much for sharing Monica! I am planning my first reading journal for 2023, this is the style I have been leaning towards. Gorgeous journal and some great takeaways to try in my own journal.

How do you become a member of a book club and how do I figure out what style of reading journal fits to me. Also, I just wanna say her journal is absolutely beautiful. It's January 7th and I've already read 3½ books🎉
I honestly enjoy the organization. Because... girl needs to learn how to organize. ESPECIALLY IF I WANT TO GET THROUGH MORE BOOKS!!!! LOL!!! ANYWAYS. I HOPE YOU ARE DOING WELL AND GOD BLESS YOU!!! Much love!!!! ❤️✝️
Wow! This is gorgeous! I'm thrilled with myself when I remember to write the titles of books I've read 😅. I'd love to be disciplined enough to record some info about each book. Thanks so much for sharing!
Wow, such a beautiful journal! So many ideas I would love to implement. Just out of curiosity the TBR list for each month has some of the books highlighted and others not. I was just wondering what that indicates 😊
Wow that is fanatical! Thought this reading journal would be boring, but it is amazing! I couldn’t ever be so self-disciplined. I don’t work, but even so I find it hard to imagine how someone has so much time for all this reading and very arty record keeping. Anyway, well done to her, it is a beautiful and interesting journal 🙂
I think Monica does a good job of balancing the artistic side with approachability 👏 the format itself is very straight forward, but her consistency with filling it in and added decorative flair make it really special 😄💜
Monica’s refined her process so it doesn’t take her all too long to put in her reflections 😊 the stickers as decoration also speed up the process 💪 but she does great work! 😄💜
This is one of my fave videos. So many great ideas! Question for anyone who tracks reading: Do you count workbooks you’ve completed as books read? For instance, I’ve read and completed two Bible studies this year (Jen Wilkin’s God of Creation and Kristi McLelland’s Jesus & Women). I realize I can count them if I want, but are workbooks typically counted on the whole? There are more I will be doing this year, so I’m also wondering if I should count them as a sub-genre???
The idea of a reading journal has sounded so fun since discovering journals. This flip through helped me organize my ideas and how I'd want to layout my version of the spreads I've seen over the past few months. I also ended up buying my first A&O journal for this purpose! ☺️ @monica.bibliophilebynight, thank you for sharing your journal. @jashiicorrin, thank you again for showing that organized information can be clean and beautiful.

I've never thought to put tip ins into the middle of my journal, just on the inside cover! Oh the possibilities...
They’re super handy! 😄💜
Haha thanks 😄💜 Glad you liked this one!
Its absolutely incredible 😮😮😮😮😮😮
Glad you liked it! 😄💜
Wow! This is gorgeous! I'm thrilled with myself when I remember to write the titles of books I've read 😅. I'd love to be disciplined enough to record some info about each book. Thanks so much for sharing!
I feel you on the wishful discipline front 😝
Wow, such a beautiful journal! So many ideas I would love to implement.
Just out of curiosity the TBR list for each month has some of the books highlighted and others not. I was just wondering what that indicates 😊
The list is my TBR and the highlighted books are the books I actually read that month 😊
Yes please Monica, bring on the 2023 reading journal flip through
Vote for the 2023 flip through counted! 💪
OMGS is Monica a critter too??? her journal is amazing, i'm definitely take some inspo
Haha yup! Glad you liked the journal 😄💜
Omg I would love to see a digitalized journal of this! I would be obsessed!
This is insanely beautiful! How does anyone have the time and dedication for something like this
Monica’s refined her process so it doesn’t take her all too long to put in her reflections 😊 the stickers as decoration also speed up the process 💪 but she does great work! 😄💜
Agh I can't get this journal in stock anywhere. Love how Monica does it all,
This is so pretty ! We need her to design reading journals ❤
I know right!? 😝💜
@monica.bibliophilebynight, thank you for sharing your journal.
@jashiicorrin, thank you again for showing that organized information can be clean and beautiful.
Glad you liked this one! 😄💜 and super exciting about your first A&O! 🥳
Loved watching this!
Glad you enjoyed it! 😄💜 I like detailed flip throughs too 💪
thank you Jashii and Monica for these ideas and cute demonstration :*
Most welcome! Hope you could get some ideas from it 😄💜 I know I did, haha 😝
What a beautiful journal!
Glad you liked it! Monica has done a great job 😄💜
