Thanks for showing this model without the allen screw to disassemble the rear half of the bolt. Yours is the only vid I could find for this model. I haven't fired mine yet, but know that I wanted to clean up the edges of all bolt components before doing so. I have the bare bones, plastic stock version with the heavy barrel, and can see all the machining lines from the lathe. Obviously a high production, mass produced model, which is in need of a personal cleaning to smooth out the action. I hope to clean up the action of sliding the bolt by polishing all of the moving components, like you did! Thanks again!
Nice video and thanks it shows exactly what and how to disassemble it and put it back. Question how often would one need to do clean this part of the rifle?
Bloody great video mate!!!! I searched google and TH-cam for ages just trying to find how to uncock the bolt! My 93 fvss mag was misfiring last time at the range and i think it’s because the firing pin and spring is gummed up hard. Your vid will help me through this as pulling stuff apart isn’t my forte 😁. Cheers mate 🤙🏻
Great video !! I took my trigger apart and polished all of it, but I still have a little catch before the trigger breaks. It must be where the sear engages in the bolt. What part of the bolt would that be. I sure would appreciate any help. Thanks !
I was wondering to if the bolt handle can be removed. Mine did come lose but I'm afraid of going further with it in case I break it. Hopefully he'll answer your question soon.
I don't have this rifle anymore so I can't check, but as well as I remember it wouldn't just hop off, it may be brazed/welded, I really don't remember unfortunately.
I used very fine sandpaper discs on an air grinder, a dremel would also work. The very fine grits will polish well but not remove any real material if you're careful.
Hi, how are you, my name is Danila, I'm from Russia, I also have such a caliber savage arms 93 f 22wmr, I have a problem with the extract and I need a drummer and a spring, please, could you send such spare parts for my rifle for money.
Здравствуйте Данила, Я бы попробовал Midway USA или Brownells на запчасти, это лучшее, что я могу придумать. Удачи, наилучшие пожелания Hello Danila, I would try Midway USA or Brownells for parts, that is the best I can think of. Good luck, best wishes

Thank you!! I’m so lost on bolt stuff this is all new to me! Appreciate your video!!
Thank you so much for your video! I had no idea the extractors could be installed that way, so much easier than the first way I was taught to do it.

Good job on the video. You used some innovative ways to assemble and disassemble the bolt.
Thanks

hello, i have a savage mark ii with the hard trigger. for me the problem is in the bolt. What I can do?
What do you do if you don’t have a vise?
Is it possible to remove the bolt handle from the body?

What did you use to polish everything?

Awesome
Shiny.
