We need a Randy Cam! Diamond in the rough that guy. Dougo Cam has been a goldmine. It’s time for Randy to get his shine! Lmao!
Good to see a little more of Randy…
We need more uncle randy!!!❤❤
Brody's father in law
@@cw93711 I wondered if he was body's wife's dad. ❤️❤️
@cw93711 I knew body's wife and chet were cousins. I always wondered if uncle randy was in there somewhere
Erik good description of how the fields near SD have come into their own and left the yellow and such behind.
LOVE LOVE this channel- ALL of you folks are Awesome!!! Great content and humour!!! God Bless you all and please keep up filming and Farm On !!! 🇨🇦
A lot of Mouths to Feed on the Larsen Farm.
I still have recurring dreams, of all the bills that had to be paid at the end of each month and year. But most importantly to me was my employees, and there beautiful families. I was always more concerned about them than any other financial situation.
Got out on the upside financially. And you Folks are Huge compared to what I was.
God rewards hard work. Keep your head in the game and he will reward you.
Brodie's a true country Guy.I saw him take a drink out of that garden hose.😊
When you are working outside a cold drink of water from a garden hose is the best !
Doesn’t everybody drink from the hose, it is the same water I would drink in my house.
@@kurt3543 We, in NW Alberta were lucky to have running water! We understand!! I think anywhere in the countries (USA and Canada) , and we can drink from the hose, are on the same page! Cheers!
Drinking from the hose isn't a flex, it's just life 😂
Never thought about it but people in apartments don't have hoses. Amazing what different people see in the same video
Have a great one, Doug.
Hope the corn makes it.
Anyone who would say a farmer is not a gamble has no idea about farming.
Farming is a gamble from the time you open the ground until you run the last of your crop out of your storage bin on the way to complete your contract.
Please take care one and all.
You live in Minnesota, no reson to plant rock seeds and grow bigger rocks. Glad Chet caught that one.
I would bet my money on the A-team every time! Sink or Swim….
Ride or Die… KEEP THE FAITH BOYS‼️🇺🇸✌️😎 Larson Farms every time‼️
Had to comment on your stress statement. Stress management strategies are essential in all aspects of living . I can't express more hardily my support for this topic. Tools for the toolbox.🤠
I fully agree. I don't think it has been taught or is taught in school or most jobs. I - like chet stated - can handle the work load (work in a very busy shop) that doesn't bother me. I can work 12+ hours straight in a physical job, eat a sandwhich while I'm working, not a big deal. Other workers get into a tizzy and start complaining and stuff and then the stress goes WAY up becuase of them, not the work. It doesn't happen often or I would leave for a different company, becuase that would be bad management or whatever - if it keeps happening. But when a machine breaks or things don't go right, others freak out and can't handle it - mostly younger guys (i'm in my 40's). They have no coping tools or ability to see the big picture? I don't know.
For me I must recognize that stress is self induced, recognition and reaction with positive direction helps 🌞
@@whenhambrent thank you. I am writing that down and keeping that card in my wallet!
Awesome video guys. thank you
Thanks for keeping it real, your authenticity is refreshing
Randy is getting more willing to appear. Good to see him.
‘I don’t like shakin jugs” lmao…..rethink that Chet!
Happy Fourth Larson Farms
Here in south Kansas City, we have 6’ tall corn…. Due to unusually high amounts of rain, the farmers can’t believe it
Great line about Casinos being for guys who don't farm. Seems a rational reason if there is one.
Thanks for another great video everyone.
It was interesting and enjoyable to watch.
Another super busy week for all of you with replanting and spraying. Lots of hours keeping everything going.
I can see where stress is a part of it.
Dougo you did a lot of corn replanting. Wow. Thanks for showing us the difference in some of the corn fields that went through the rain and or replanting. Was interesting seeing the difference. Hopefully it will produce at harvest time. Time will tell.
July 4th knee high corn is about here. Let us know if it makes it. Thanks.
The vac machine you have is great for cleaning out the planters. Work really good. Nice work guys.
Guess that is it. Thanks for everything. You all take care and be safe.
The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
Remember Chet, the way to eat an elephant is one bite at a time 😊
All 3 yelling it aint got no gas had me laughing out loud.
GREAT TEAMWORK!
4 July 2024, I moved into the 2nd House I built My Current Home 4 July 2002. Longest I've lived in one place. West Coast Nicaragua. My 1st house was a Beach House, beach-front. ON BEHALF of ALL RETIRED COMBAT VETS, WE THANK YOU! 21yrs USMC, 8yrs DOD/DOS CONTRACTOR. TEN Overseas Tour. I would of kept going, but my last injury, Sep 2009 took me Out of the Game. Safety First!
Chet your new bride must be having second thoughts about being married to a farmer, good luck and be kind and encourage her, she's a good girel.
Dougo our corn fields here in west central ohio is starting to tassel already.
Chet you guys have a good team and a good attitude. There is a lot that you have to deal with every day . Stay safe I wish you all the best. From Vermont!
Planting 400+ acres of corn in July? Dougo, I am concerned. What if a plane just hit those spots for less because it's already too late. I'll pray that a cool summer does not lead to an early frost.
I ENJOYED WATCHING THE VIDEO CHET BRODY AND DOUGO ❤😊
Best of luck fellas! Outstanding job all! What a crew!
April planted corn here has strayed to tassel. Eastern Iowa
My April planted corn just east of Larson's is anywhere from knee to shoulder high and won't be tasseling until third week of July. Been too cold and wet since it was planted.
In Central Europe corn is higher than me, will check that tommorow. I'm shocked how different it is for you or videos are so much delayed
Dougo was talking about that in 17 min
From $37K to $45K that's the minimum range of profit return every week I thinks it's not a bad one for me, now I have enough to pay bills and take care of my family...
Excuse me for real?,how is that
possible I have struggling
financially, how was that possible?
Thanks to Elizabeth Marie Hawley.
YES!!! That's exactly her name (Elizabeth Maria Hawley) so many people have recommended highly about her and am just starting with her 😊 from Brisbane Australia🇦🇺
I have heard a lot of wonderful things about Elizabeth Maria Hawley on the news but didn't believe it until now. I'm definitely trying her out
Same here, with my current portfolio made from my investments with my personal financial advisor (Elizabeth Maria Hawley) I totally agree with you
Hey Dougo, I just wanted to let you know, you and the Team are appreciated for how you contribute in feeding the world. Thank You so Much. Kevin Marsh from New Mexico
Lovely video, hope uncle Randy can show us more of his POV while working
Oh great you guys finally have a video out now I can take a break from watching the world come to an end online
Where and why are you watching the world come to an end online? I assume you can watch what you want to watch can’t you??
@@kurt3543 great reply thanks
@@kurt3543 that was humor or my attempt at humor sorry you took it serious 🤣
Seen many years where corn wasnt knee high by the 4th of July, but had huge harvests.
Chet got censored with a beep.. 😅 all this replanting in getting to him.
Glad you guys are getting it done, how's the wife feel about you sleeping at the shop? Being a new wife to farm life.
The Boys will get through the mess and have a BLESSED CROPS. Love the show.
Chet Dougo Eric Broodie and Randy great explanations great job Randy is Dougo brother and they all are one hell of a team when they all together they kick butt and get the job done they no what they have to do and lol won't complain becouse it won't get done by its self and all the time complaining is more time on that to get it done
Ouch! I truly hope Dougo that all that replanting manages a decent enough yield to hopefully help offset the costs
Team Larson ! Happy 4th you all ! God Bless
Isn't Corn supposed to be knee high by July 4th?
Harvest is going to be sooo interesting.....
Damn Dougo what's the date 1st of July maybe, when I was growing up they always said the corn should be knee high by the fourth of July back in the 60's, well you will see Dougo right?
Harvest is gonna be a treat this year but I d unspectacular it will go flawlessly😢😢😢
Northern Missouri a week ago the Corn was Shoulder High and started to Tassel!
I live in Western Iowa. The corn is starting to tassel here.
@@myronparks3495 Northern Illinois is the same.
Western Pennsylvania ours is waist high
Was that reseeding or receding ? because I'm doing both.
Hang in there guys, when your done you'll all have to take turns and have a mandatory 3 days off.
Great to see Randy! Excellent video! Hope it all gets better soon. Hang in there like fuzz on a sucker!
Great video all of you good luck I hope it turns out well
Chet, my grandpa once told me a dry year will scare you silly as a farmer, and a wet year can easily ruin you.
I havnt watched in a while 😮 where is the big swede
Great job Chet and the whole larson crew, happy 4th of July.be safe and God bless your family 🌽🚜🙏🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Great job, the equipment with a1 technology is amazing..auto steering.. Dad needs to take some time off and take care of his skin condition
Here in South Georgia our corn has already tasseled
It would be nice if you included the date that the video was recorded. That way we know what struggles you have and when they happen.
Pretty consistent they are 2-3 weeks ago.
Sending sunshine your way
The Larson Farm guys are out of control, all yelling at once.
Btw, who's Randy...just kidding! 😄
One hell of a team you Larson’s guys. Great video sorry you had to replant 3or4 fields plus dark places where water stayed as well that had to suck.
You’ll have left over beans to plant next year.
You're outta your Element Donnie. 😅😅😅😅
7:09 Randy and I.
Love the Slingblade reference
Is there drone technology to check for crop emergence?
Remember you don't have to farm The world. Think about how less stress you would be if you Dent rent all them extra acres this year
So is there a market for silage in your part of the country? In Texas we harvest quite a lot of corn for silage.
Love your videos watch them daily i think u need a different ring tone
What's the latest you can plant soy beans turtle beans or corn in the year before it gets to late in the year?
All crops have to be planted before the deadline ,don't know the dates for crop insurance to kick in, not in the ground no insurance payout😮
Dougo, Lets hope for the best
It ain’t got no gas in it has me dying laughing 😂
When ya'll look at new Deere equipment, are you going to Mexico?
Wake up the equipment that is being moved to Mexico is just one of the skid steer loaders. They have been making equipment in Mexican and other plants world wide for years.
A little 550 cord might tether those tank lids to the truck. Just say-n. Next year will be better. The optimism of a farmer.
Awesome Video Chet and Larson Farms!!!
We’re cutting corn silage in North Florida now.
Seems like it would almost be cost effective to have 2 bean planters. 1 for soy one for black with as many times as yall switch between the 2 each year but idk enough about the op
With any sort of decent weather and not being over a month late it works fine with one.
theoretically, they plant at different times. This year has been a mess.
What was the problem on the case that was sent to town? Was it a backed out end nut/seal on the driveshaft or ….. just being nosey. Big machine to break like that.
Randy said it went bang, so probably broken axle shaft.
You guys got flooded out and ours in E NC is burned up from the heat with no rain.
The content is very interesting. It's just great
Awesome video guys. 🚜🚜🚜
I farm with my grandpa
Hate to break this to you but we have corn tassel out already!! Been pretty good year for us so far!!!
Hope you all have a great Fourth of July.
Stay safe and cool !!!
Sure is nice to see Randy more
Heah Larson Farms, I hope you guys have a bumper crop of black beans.
I love black beans on rice and black bean soup with ham chunks.
Of course I live ij Miami-Dade County and That's on pretty much every menue down here.
It's my favorite side dish at Pollo Tropical and at Latin resturants with steaks.
Dugo is the boss😊
Oh Dugo. Here in northern Illinois, corn is already 7 foot tall
Doug with the fall tease...He should be a TV Executive. #KARE11
Wow I am up in bc canada and we're mot even close to knee high where we are hope you guys do well.this year
Thanks 👍
Now you guys need to demo a patriot 4440-4450 sprayer with a 1600 gal tank
Have a safe and happy 4th of July.
15:27 I had a feeling it was this field 😂😂😂😂😂😂!!!
!You guys are going to be picking corn until Feb!
FARMERS-- --the biggest gamblers on the face of the earth!
We wish you had videos with your in some
I saw 2 corn fields in northwest Ohio already tasseled out.
Have to plant some winter wheat in August ….
Ur only hope is a lot of fertilizer lucky u rich!*
Goodness corn in NE Kansas is 4 1/2-5 ft tall
LoL Chet time for a corn tender spray trailer update, with a phiber dash trailer
If you need to empty your CCS tanks you can just slide an empty probox under the tanks with your forklift. Open the doors on the bottom and dump them. Might not work on your 20” planter. But it will on a 1775NT
Can't do it that way in a DB-series planter because the wheels are in the front of the frame.
Awsome video you all.
We have 7 ft tall tasseling corn in West Central Illinois along with foot plus tall soybeans add fresh farm grown sweet corn.
There are rumors of winter wheat coming off so early that farmers are actually thinking about double cropping corn instead of soybeans.
Some of the corn here in west central Illinois is tasseled.
