      The first thing to check is the oil and check if its milky, meaning that coolant is mixing with oil. If it is I would do a compression test to check for head gasket failure. it compression is good it's most probably a water pump failure, there is an oil seal inside and when it fails the same thing happens

    HI! but have you cleaned the internal chamber of the engine block, where the engine oil is located?

    • @pullumoto
      @pullumoto  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I used cheap oil to run the engine for a while and then flush that oil ,it will eventually clean itself like that

    How many km do you have so that you have to chnage the head gasket? Or is this a issue of this scooter? It shouldt cause its a japan scooter. When its a normal issue i'm disapointed with the japanese 😂

    • @pullumoto
      @pullumoto  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      the head gasket was actually still good at 35000km, It didn't have to be replaced, my actual problem was the water pump seal that's why it was mixing oil with coolant

      @@pullumoto ouuuh, well in my oppinion a dumb idea from the ingeniers to put the water direct with the camshaft drive. Its hot there and the seals of the water pump can't hold much long

    • @pullumoto
      @pullumoto  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I agree it's such a bad design which kinda sucks for a jap scooter. At least it is very easy to replace and the new kit should last a very long time

      double check your valve clearances and your timing chain again as you may have skipped it by 1 tooth

    • @pullumoto
      @pullumoto  ปีที่แล้ว

      You don't really need to remove the engine to do this just, it just makes it easier and everything is more accessible. The engine is totally accessible while inside the scooter and a rebuild can be done on the spot, I suggest downloading the scooter workshop manual also as it will be of great help when doing this.

    I now see how different the 125cc is from 250cc engine. The 250 cc does not have a proper oil filter

    • @pullumoto
      @pullumoto  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I always thought the 250cc is a copy of the 125 with a larger bore but looks like there are some differences, I couldn't find the oil filter in the workshop manual for the 250cc either
