Absolutely amazing, what only 10 min can do. Thank you so much, this was exactly what I had needed! Due to caries I had to have a deep filling at the dentist last week and was told, that there´s a 50% chance, my tooth is not gonna survive and I will have to come back for another procedure. Ever since then, I have been so scared and therefore tense in the jaw, that I don´t even know, if the pain I feel is from tension and teeth grinding or from a beginning inflammation of the root of the tooth. Feeling so much better now and I hope, it´s gonna stay that way...

I have an imbalance in my face due to my bite being wonky on one side. I’ve fixed my teeth via orthodontics so they properly fit together when my mouth is closed, but I still carry a tremendous amount of tension on the right side of my face. The muscle feels really tough, tender, and that side of my face is larger due to the muscle being so built up. How would you recommend I fix this? Do I need acupuncture or dry needling in addition to face yoga/massage? I’m trying to avoid getting jaw surgery but the right side does still click a little and my mouth doesn’t open straight down, it wiggles a bit. I appreciate any advice and love your videos ❤
Hi Brittany, thanks for your question and I'm happy to hear you enjoy my videos 💟 due to so much tension accumulated on the right side of your face, I would first attempt to release the tension with massage before doing any strengthening exercises, otherwise there's a risk of more muscular imbalances being created. Do explore intra-oral massage (buccal) where the tight muscles are released by massaging from inside the mouth, targeting painful and uncomfortable tension from the inside out. There's videos on TH-cam for self massage but I would seek out a therapist who could do this in a sensitive way and advise you how to do it at home. From my point of view - tension release first, and then face yoga strengthening once the muscles feel more 'normal'. Hope this helps !🌸💆♀

What is pain under jaw and behind jaw under ear. Is that also TMJ?
It could be TMJ related or could be congested lymph pathways. You could try a simple lymphatic drainage massage to clear this.
