Hi Scott, I am a little guy in the world of fishing. I'm technically new to bass fishing and never really caught much, but I really do want to tournament fish and I have a kayak and I'm about to start working on a Jon boat bass boat build so I can practice but one thing that I've learned from you which I will take into fishing if I ever do tournament fish, you never take it too serious. You get excited and you get upset but it's never too serious. Which allows you to change pace and not get too lost or deep into a mistake. I really appreciate your content and I'm learning a lot from just watching you. The veteran presence is amazing. Also, I hope this text went right because I definitely just voice texted.

Scott. You touched on the tablet a bit. I would really love to see a video of how you study the lakes before you get to them. Maps/apps what you look for etc. That would truly help me on my progression to becoming a better angler.

Thanks for your videos gang. My family has become a house full of Anglers! I have an 8 yr old daughter who loves watching your crew and of course Hillary. I have been trying to find a starter boat. I was paralyzed in 2016. It have rehabbed back to my new normal. It has taken 7 years but I was a college athlete and I am competitive as all get out. When I get my boat I’ll be ready for a challenge !!!! Father daughter show down. Lol. Nah we have a long way to go. It God is good my friend and if he has a way of working through fish 😊
I say yes to the beard. Canterbury and Arey both have one. I'm rocking my beard and lovbe it.
My great uncle lived on that lake it can be a grind at times for sure. I fished it a lot as a kid and teen there's some massive bluegill in that lake too lol.
Your observation about the falling water and bite dying is spot on. I have fished on Lay my entire life and something about when they drop that water quickly just puts the fish in a super negative mood.

As technology progresses, as someone who's never used one I think it would be really cool to have an overlay of the fish finder on screen to show us what he's seeing. It would be interesting to watch the fish take a bait on the finder.

The thing at Lay lake the swim jig was basically developed there those fish have seen one everyday for years there. It's a tough bite and the fish are milk fish don't school alot.

I met you at the last FLW tournament on grad lake and almost stopped watching your videos and buying your merchandise when you seemed to be annoyed when I wanted an autograph on my smc hat and shirt I just bought but it took a little while to get over it and I understand you had a bad tournament. I use a similar jig for Striped bass called a hair racer that looking similar to the white jig you been using, where the 5 pounder chased it.

You have to remember that the Coosa is a milk run type river, fish reload on the same spots day after day year after year. It's not really a pattern system it's more spot specific
