These days with everyone jumping-in in making youtube videos, it's hard to find a video that doesn't waste your time. This one, this one right here, is an honest informative video. Thank you so much.
Very informative - wish I had seen this some time ago (would have saved me some money) And most of all: You have a nice style of explaining. Thanks a lot!
Hi Jiggie. Great video. But If anyone plan to spend big on camera and lens, than no need to go for budget speedlights. And today all brand speedlights comes with wireless function, either basic or advance. TTL is meaningless if everyone teaching about Manual settings and Take control of yr flash. And no worry about warranty if you buy many of cheaper speedlights.
The irony there is why buy cheap lights if you will spend big on cameras and lenses. Spend big too on quality lights. I still use TTL from time to time. But HSS is a more important feature for me
Interesting that the cheaper flashes can have issues with the consistency of color depending on the power you're shooting at. Thank you for mentioning that.
Very useful video, thanks. A question: what sort of output power would I need to shoot armchair sized products on a white background in a small studio. Would two or three x 300 watt flashes be enough?
I was planning to buy studio lights sometime this year. Too bad the pandemic dashed my hopes :( but this has got to be the best video for researching the right light for a studio setup hahaha
yeah hahaha but great tips though. but i think another consideration that's worth putting up should be about lighting kits and studio space concerns lol right now, i'm slowly investing in portables, stands, and modifiers. phase by phase i suppose
Thank you again sir jiggie for the very informative video! Can i ask your taughts on after market service for the different strobes here in our country? Atm I am planning on investing in a good quality strobe and have no idea about the matter. Is there a service center here in our country?
Hi Jiggie, Been using speedlights and I would like to start looking into strobes. This video is very timely. I would like to ask, in your experience in portrait photography, what's the minimum power output do you recommend for strobes? Thanks.
Perfect advice. I have One godox pro trigger TTL/manual unit, CAMERA compatible TTL/manuall flash and 2 manual flash units. Manual have one hotshoe contact points, compared to 5 in TTL. All recent godox flash units have built-in receiver. I didn't buy Lithium battery powered but enloop black rechargeable battery external battery.

Since you already have Speedlight’s, maybe you can consider getting strobes in the 200-500ws range
@@JiggieAlejandrino thanks for the recommendation. More power to the channel. Keep Safe.
