I think that criterion flopped once again here... (also because of the M2 BMW)
This should be a basic mechanic that all the cars should share. I can't understand why we can't keep the drift while switching side... it's just frustrating.
The unique characteristic of a car should be its handling. Not the way it keeps the points...

Honestly I don't know this truck is the only vehicle I've seen do this, most I've banked at 1 time is like 53,000 it was at the end of my live stream

I was thinking just like you before I've started playing it.
Anyways you can disable it, or apply other effects that are more "realistic" or less cartoonist...
But trust me, because of the games mechanics, it's better to leave them on. It's important to know if you're drifting or not, and that is the main thing that tells you that...
I would complain about other stuff (game related), that needs to get fixed asap imo...
