Nice, i got my hands on it too, did around the same points its a crazy car
I think that criterion flopped once again here... (also because of the M2 BMW) This should be a basic mechanic that all the cars should share. I can't understand why we can't keep the drift while switching side... it's just frustrating. The unique characteristic of a car should be its handling. Not the way it keeps the points...

Games not everyone's cup of tea and i get that but i like it so that's all that matters to me
I was thinking just like you before I've started playing it. Anyways you can disable it, or apply other effects that are more "realistic" or less cartoonist... But trust me, because of the games mechanics, it's better to leave them on. It's important to know if you're drifting or not, and that is the main thing that tells you that... I would complain about other stuff (game related), that needs to get fixed asap imo...
small note the music was really loud and hid the game sound maybe next time adjust the volume of the music.
