This felt a little bittersweet to hear directly after the cutscene at the Crystal Pool
It was such a wild feeling to be blasted back to the title screen after something like that

Man, this theme hits different after putting over 80 hours into the game then to be met with this new title screen.

Man. Now THIS feels like the end of a journey.
The Nostalgia of this theme hits hard after the secret cutscene.
1st title screen you see a book and can hear children talking in the halls. Class is about to begin
2cd it looks like it’s in the afternoon/ after class, hear more children talking, and now in the distance hear the band practicing their music.
3rd title screen you hear only a small amount of children talking in the halls and this single piano. The sun is about to set. After a little bit the halls start to get quiet from the few kids leaving the school. The school day is now done.
Bye, naranja academy. Bye, paldea. It was fun.
I just graduated high school now. Pokemon scarlet and violet, a game where school is a key component in the game, is now the last pokemon game I played before I graduated.
I now have this bitter sweet feeling. It both hurts and is soothing at the same time.
Grinded this game until I completed all 3 pokedexs. Played pokemon scarlet for 165 hours or more. A friend of mine who is a non pokemon fan gets mad at me because every time I am online I play pokemon scarlet. All those pokemon I transferred from pokemon go are trapped in the boxes I shiny hunted 2 paradox pokemon. People traded me a hacked shiny arceus and ahacked shiny jirachi. I transferrred all the starters from pokemon go and traded for the galarian starters in pokemon home so I completed the blueberry pokedex in a not so nintendo approved wat
I'm not gonna lie. I cried.
I've spent many years away from the main series game. Last game I played was black 2.
I bought a switch just to play this game.
And after the final cutscene at the pools, being forced back to the title screen just to hear this.
It was very very emotional.
Pokemon was my first video game, on the gameboy advanced sp.
A cool green cartridge that stood out, Emerald. I still play a rom of it every now and then. All these years. Pokemon go and unite. The shows and movies. It never went away for me. I just hadn't hopped back into the games for a while. Experiencing this future version of pokemon. It was amazing. So this song really made my cry a deep emotional weep. It hurt, in a very good way. Idk how to explain it. Like a very old part of me was so happy about something it held onto for so long. It may be weird to say but. I'm grateful to exist. I'm grateful for this world of dreams and creations. For a moment I accept there could be a god, and I thank them for putting me here of all places. Hopefully someday I can be in a world where pokemon are the default natural inhabitants. Where I can experience something dreamed up here, in the flesh. Thats what this song means to me. It's not real, it's just a game. But it is. To me, for a moment.
It's everything. And I'm grateful I could feel that. It means something, when the world makes you feel like nothing
Man I’m really sad that these games will be over soon. Pokémon Scarlet/Violet are my favorite Pokémon games.
Maybe not the best, obviously these games have a lot of issues to them, but this was the most fun I had playing a Pokémon game since first playing Pokémon Ultra Moon.
I know that Pokémon games have a lot of potential to them. I really wish the developers will get more time to make the next generation better.

Nah man. This gen was insane. It had major technical issues BUT if we look at the game for what they are. They are the best games since gen 5 for me. If gen 10 lunches on a switch 2 with good performance and gameplay/atmosphere from gen 9 we're good to go.

I have played every game in the series since then. Pokémon Scarlet and Violet hold a special place in my heart, particularly due to their captivating storylines and unique school setting. As a child with level 2 autism, navigating social interactions in school has always been challenging for me. Unfortunately, I did not always receive the kindness and understanding I needed from my peers. However, the world of Pokémon has provided me with a delightful escape from reality, allowing me to connect with my beloved Pokémon companions, such as my cherished Primarina. It brings me joy to have her by my side in Pokémon Scarlet, thanks to Home!!
The Pokémon franchise holds a significant place in my life. Despite being aware of the flaws present in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, the personal significance they hold for me, intertwined with my life experiences with the franchise, makes them and the entire franchise incredibly special. Pokémon has filled my life with the love and acceptance I always wanted!
I may be expressing my silly thoughts in a comment section, but this music resonates deeply with me. I am truly grateful to Pokémon for instilling hope and positivity in my life!

this theme strikes... i don't know what but this i guess gives me shivers like impending doom the game i've poured 201 hours in is over. the best way i can describe it is.... a journey is over... but i don't want it too happen most people don't but the inevitable is going to happen and we all have to accept it so this is the perfect way to end it with a piano song that strikes a feeling i can't describe in text is truly the best way

I’m legit crying, as someone who has been there with Pokemon since the BEGINNING (not a genwunner eww) like maybe 4-6 hearing the awesome title screen theme start it all playing generation after generation and now we get this a beautiful soft gentle piano melody of that same song after tying the game in a strange yet satisfying bow I again legit started crying tears of joy

I cry whenever I hear this. I got the game on launch day, and have been playing really often, and have about 700 hours in the game. I have two of the three dexes complete, completed every bit of story in the game, and have a full box of shiny Pokemon. My team consists of Dusk Lycanroc, Skeledirge, Baxcalibur, Ogerpon, Iron Valiant, and my wonderful shiny Palafin. This game will forever hold a special place in my heart. I love this game.
Idk how to describe it... But this feels like an end of an era.... The end of the first 9 generations..... Where do we go now..... Only thing to do is to wait

Over 600 hours later (most of the time shiny hunting) and these are currently my favorite pokemon games. if it wasnt for the obnoxiously long early game, we're talking longer than sun and moon, id be constantly replaying these games because of the amazing story they had. this and legends arceus are my 2 favorite games in the series. i hope they end up getting better as we approach the back half of gen 9 and gen 10.

I won’t lie, I spent a long time away from the Pokémon series for years, Black and White being the last two games I played before I quit, but Pokémon Scarlet/Violet brought me back to the world that was a huge part of my childhood, and I’ll treasure the time I put into my Violet game.
I also won’t lie that I did feel emotional during the Hidden cutscene. 😢
Thank you Scarlet and Violet, for bringing me back to something I loved and regret shoving out of my life for too long. I’ll treasure the time spent in Paldea and look forward to new adventures to come ❤
I freaking cried when I saw Sada (I only have Scarlet) and in the end, she really did love her son, and I wish that we could have told Arven this. I honestly feel that it hits harder when Arven's mom leaves and passes, and I swear to the heavens that there should be a cut scene where you (again) speak, and yell to to the professor as they're disappearing in the smoke, "Spend more time with your son! You should cherish it as much as possible!" And they turns to us one last time, and smiling sadly, says, "Yes, that would be a good idea. I bid you adeiu." (I apologize if I spelled it wrong) And the next time we visit his dorm room he says, "Hey, MC, it's gonna be weird, but I'm starting to remember all this stuff about my parents. Kinda weird, right, little buddy?" And we can only smile and say, "Yeah it is...." (Sorry, it's too much for a one minute long song, huh?) 🥲

If the AI prof took the Scarlet/Violet book just to close the time machine, you notice there's no book on the desk in second title screen you mentioned. Once you meet the professor and receive the book ,you go back to title screen and the book is finally back along with new music background

I had to sit there once this song came on for a while.
If it wasn't for quite a bit of bugs and lack of features, this could have been one of THE BEST pokemon games ever released. From the designs of the new Pokemon, the Terra Mechanic, and the amazing story that got better with every update, everything here could have revitalized the Pokemon Franchise so much. I REALLY hope they don't go the way of CoD and force a game out every 3 years and let the developers COOK for 5.
Fuck, be SMART about your releases, and give us a Legends game to appeal to the older audience like Legends Arceus did. That one is my personal Best Pokemon Game of All Time. Drop a Legends game 3 years after the mainline game so you can have AT LEAST a 4 year cycle in-between games. You already have enough programmers hired, and animations created, do the right thing Game Freak, you'll make even more BILLIONS, trust me.
sadly it'll never happen, the pokemon company has stuck to the three year time frame since the release of black and white, its most likely going to stay that way for a very long time.
Unfortunately, it's less of Game Freak that's in control of the releases and more on The Pokemon Company. Game Freak has the potential, it's Pokemon Company holding them back. IF Pokemon Company actually lets Game Freak have more development time as they implied in one of their recent interviews, maybe we'll see better quality next Game Freak Pokemon game.
