    Just looks like they gave the Sticky Buddy a new color, and a new name. Then upped the price $10.

    I was able to rejuvenate my 4 year old sticky buddy using dish soap and a tooth brush. Literally as sticky as it was new no joke.

    • @sarhan_
      @sarhan_ 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Do you use the brush to rub in the soap to the roller? Also does any dish soap work? Or can it be regular hand soap too?

    I got a similar sticky roller, no name brand, way back in I'd say the early 90s. It worked for a long time, probably still dragging around somewhere. I just didn't like running all that hair and fur down the sink.

    • @dcwatashi
      @dcwatashi ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Exactly people should never do that it will clog your drains and you know that water gets recycled back into your drinking water

    • @OnceShy_TwiceBitten
      @OnceShy_TwiceBitten ปีที่แล้ว +11

      @@dcwatashi And that would be filtered out. Otherwise you are also still drinking other people's piss and shit. lmfao Also the occasional wash down the sink of that is hardly gonna do too much. drain opener works great on organic material anyway.

    • @dcwatashi
      @dcwatashi ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@OnceShy_TwiceBitten I will have to check with my county water system but I know for a fact they’re not going to want you to wash Pet hair down the drain
      and why would you want to put chemical drain cleaner down your drain if you didn’t have to
      The other lint brush that I’m using works fine and I also might purchase the one that he likes that fur wizard

    • @Kat_288
      @Kat_288 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I use a fine mesh strainer when I need to pour something down the sink but don't want debris going down the drain.

    All I can think of when I hear "Sticky Buddy" is the Jaboody Dubs Sticky Buddy parody haha Still makes me giggle.
    I remember having a sticky lint roller like these back in the 90's. I'm pretty sure it wasn't a Sticky Buddy, I don't think those were made yet. So the concept of these are definitely not a new thing.

  • @Lizzihades

    I have the green one and as someone who is lazy at cleaning and has 4 cats normally it needs 3-4 rinses just to do my pants and I just get myself a bit damp. But a normal lint roller also needs that many sheets to do the same job so not too bad. I also have an xl version that is like a broomstick

    If its got that much lifetime because it's reusable, then even if it lasts a year its absolutely worth it. The price of those lint roller tapes at walmart has increased massively from last year. Last year a pck of two at a walmart was only $5.99 and now They raised the price to $$7.99 for 1 roll. Online the price is different than the price at the store but if you order it online which it says online its a pack of two for $5.99 you still have to pay shipping and the cost ends up being higher and they only last about a few weeks at best.

NOTHING gets that out of places like the inside lining of my coat. Even washing it won't remove the hair from the inside of my coat and my hoodie which I bought the wizard for is also not ideal...

    $25 is just too much. You can get the disposable lint rollers, the kind with adhesive sheets you tear off at the dollar.25 store, those probably last 75 uses? I dont like disposable items but im skeptical these rollers actually last long term. For the same price you'd get 1,500 uses from 20 disposable rollers, and no soap and water needed.

    The essence of these products is that someone looked at the Japanese octopus toys that they used to put in cereal boxes in the 1980's and decided to turn the frustration into a cleaning tool. Then like they always do with these sorts of products of a sort of sound premise but not really supported, it just gets remarketed over and over by a dozen different companies. I bought a similar thing years ago from Menard's. They were selling a much nicer looking product in a hand model and a larger model with a long handle.
