I've been using those drink bags for a while in my night club in the UK, my area had a problem with drinks getting spiked with date rape drugs, the bags help my patrons feel safe while they are having fun and if someone drops one I don't have any glass on my dancefloor.
I personally have no desire to drink alcohol out of a plastic bag. Plastic cup, sure, but a bag just sounds bound to burst or leak to me...plus its just weird.
Those little fortune telling gadgets always brings to mind the Twilight Zone episode, "Nick of Time", where a couple becomes bound by their own superstition reading answers by a penny fortune telling machine in a diner they stopped at. Classic TZ!
During the holidays you can also use ribbon and tie one end to each finger hole hand hang it over your neck, then you won't have to worry about setting it down and loosing it or just to have two hands available for use in eating hugging dancing, etc. etc.
I can see the use of these drink pouches, but not really on holiday theme… some make ahead daiquiri recipes poured in there, fill up the freezer and have a fun frozen drinks party.
The problem with Mr. Predicto is you have to switch it on. The Magic Eight Ball is fun because you can just grab it and ask a question, no preamble set up. I don't want to play with it, I just want to use it and put it down. It actually helps focus your mind on the problem you're facing. Just forming your thoughts into a question helps you think them through.
That christmas light charger would only be good to use overnight obviously. Since it charges slow and is also a night light. Plus, charging slow is better for the battery usually. I'd buy one. Another option is to use a plug that puts out more amps, or watts.
What's great about the drink pouches is they can be reused. Just wash them out dry them out and put them away. I had reusable bags like that for frozen food. Now I have a thick plastic silicone style. The charging cable is better for nighttime. Your asleep for 8 hours, and 8 hours is plenty of time to charge.
Are the bags reusable? I need to have knee surgery and will be stuck with a cane for a while. That could make getting around with drinks when I'm home alone a lot easier
I've had these for ~4 years. I found mine to be durable although a bit of a pain to clean. I would chuck my (alcoholic) drink into the freezer and it would become a slushy. Bottle brush is helpful to clean. I think I got mine on ebay & they were a tropical theme.
The drink pouches seem really redundant if you have to wash them first! I bought some disposable plates recently that also required washing. Seems really counterintuitive to me, unless those bags are supposed to be multi-use! Good luck on the 100k.
The concern I have about the drink pouches is _when left unattended_ anyone can quickly tap a syringe with fluid into a straw, shake it up and _oops_ your drink is spiked now. So you need to leave your beverage within eyeshot at the centre of the party - perhaps, have a centre table where if somebody tries that, guests can throw a fit, then empty and bin the pouch. _Alternatively_ with a prepared solution of chemical in a syringe with a hypodermic needle, slip the needle through the _other_ hole where the straw isn't in, expel past the zipper line and _oops_ the drink is spiked now. Nty, I'll stick with using a water bottle for my beverage and keep the drink with my person when using the bathroom.
The fact that you could hook the carry holes to a lanyard would actually make this one of the safest drinks as you never have to leave your drink alone at all. You could dance while wearing it, use the restroom with it, etc.
I like the concept of the charging cable with lights, but I feel that the lights themselves are just to big and bulky for a short cable that you are using to charge a phone or any other item.
Bulky and it siphons off some of the charge is what made it a big NO for me. I LOVE the concept, though, and could see them with different light colors so your friends or kids could have "assigned colors" so they don't forget them and/or you know whose cable belongs to whom. No accidental (or on purpose) theft!!
@@Sarafimm2 I think a low wattage led strip attached to the cable would work great, especially if you are plugging it into a 55 watt or higher charger.
@@alejandrocabral4637over a long distance it can be. LEDs can be wired in series so each one has a low voltage drop individually. USBPD could provide a higher voltage and possibly work great in a series string

We are tired of seeing prices go up every year while quality goes down. Add to that the sweatshop controversy and it's easy to go to other more affordable brands. As you said, kislux really popular
James I love watching you test ludicrous items. The lights are pretty and useful, the Mr. Predicto you can wait a bit and get at Goodwill, the drink bags are good for safety and transporting at a busy event. Won’t buy any if them but loved your method.
I like the bag drinks because you can easily put names on them, they're harder to spike, or you could use them to smuggle drinks into venues that might not check to see that the bags are empty. Give them that "embarrassed look" when they ask what the yellow colored fluid is and tell them to mind their own business! LOL
As someone who charges his phone overnight as i sleep, the longer charge time would not be a deal breaker for me. I would have been more interested in seeing if the cable also has enough power to power a wireless charger dock.
Charging your device more slowly is also better for the longevity of your battery. The longevity longer charge time also means it's spending less time just sitting there trickle charging at 100%, which is also quite hard on lithium ion batteries.
I wonder if you can hook more than one set of those lights together? Maybe if you could mention in an update video at some point. That would make them even more worthwhile.
Mr Predicto Says: do not insult me, otherwise, i'm just as fun as the magic 8 ball for most ages 5-10. (however I still have an iphone app that I still use for fun from time to time when we get silly)😂😂😂
I love my kislux bags. I've had them for a long time and they look like new. I like to spend money wisely. How many people spend all their money on expensive handbags, cars and accessories only to have it blown away? There's nothing special about high priced luxury bags
I like all the items. I have one concern though about hot beverages in the drink pouches, it's probably not a good idea, as it's non bpa, and who knows what the bags are made of.
Oh yes, I got an EZ-bake oven, and I put in a 75-watt LED bulb. It came out raw. 😆 That's why I always endorse LEDs. They emit almost no heat, they use very little power, and they light up immediately. All my current Christmas lights are LED. That Mr Predicto IS like a modern magic 8-ball. Will I buy it? All signs point to NO. 😆 As for those pouches... let's be honest; it's for egg nog. 😀 Chocolate Martini works too. And beer, why not. 😄 Hey, it's 5 o'clock somewhere.
I’ve seen a lot of restaurants use those think bags, especially for outdoors. The quality of the plastic on the bags I have seen has been much higher though.
I bought my cousin a Mr. Predicto as a fun joke for him to use on his streams and he's still using it two years later as a gag. I have been surprised by how well it's held up
Lol. Can't even get half your phone charged in an entire hour. Apple needs to add literally any amount of fast charging. It's just ridiculous at this point.
LED! Leds r used because, unlike resistive filament bulbs, leds dissipate very little thermal energy so most of power consumed converted to visible light. They shouldn't get warm.
You don't have to use the charging cable for your phone. Could use it for anything USB-C. Things that are permanently plugged in and would benefit from the decoration
It was not a 26% increase but over 100% increase (it more than doubled, from 22% to 48%). One could say it had a 26 percentage-point increase. And for the final value, going from 48% to 92% was a 44 percentage-point increase or at 44/48 =.916, so a 91.6% increase.

I have owned battery operated LED light decoration with built in timers I notice the ones with timers batteries run out sooner. I’m starting to think the timer uses more battery power than if the light just stayed on. Has anyone else come across this?
It's not the timer that uses more battery power; it's the transistor that pulls down the power line that uses more battery power when the circuit is badly designed.
The lights charging cable is probably best for a desk worker who leaves their phone plugged in while they're working at the desk. Adds some ambience; and speed isn't important in that situation.
lol my kitten would see that charging cable and go "oo! lights! toy! I can chew on this!" (Whoever says poppies are the only ones who chew up shoes and things is wrong lol)

Great idea, maybe it will catch on in the US!
Love that idea
Wow, I never thought about that! I guess these do serve a purpose other than being a novelty.
Finally, non-woke drink bags!
That was my immediate first thought- so much safer!
Drink pouches are for adults who grew up drinking CapriSuns.
I personally have no desire to drink alcohol out of a plastic bag. Plastic cup, sure, but a bag just sounds bound to burst or leak to me...plus its just weird.
Same as a wine bladder in a cask.
Good for novelty drinks like a red colored one to look like a blood bag for Halloween
Hey I still drink Capri Suns and I’m in my 40s

I love that episode. William Shatner at his best.
My second favorite episode behind Will the Real Martian Please Stand Up.

It was written by none other than, Richard Matheson, my favorite scifi author of all time!

You didn't knock over the drink pouches to see how much will come out. Drunks are known to knock things over after all.

Dunno about the beer in the bag. Looks a lot like a catheter bag.
might be a good way to keep you guests from drinking to much
😂 a tad, yes
But catheter bags are sterile, at least.
Ahh, damn i didnt think of that, tho i can see them hanging like a i.v. drip.
Would go good with some halloween costumes, especially with the catheter or IV bag look.

Not surprised the Christmas light charging cable is inefficient as you lose significant power to run the leds.

This was my thought too.
I’d be curious to know how it fares here in Australia, where we have 240V.
It’s a wire gauge and hardware handshake issue has absolutely nothing to do with the LEDs hoss

Exactly!
Mr. Predicto definitely is the Magic conch shell from SpongeBob and the 8 ball.
