Ms Debbie, what you think about hosting meals for ppl visiting from the states. That would be a good business idea, they would get the full Jamaican eating experience.
Hello Miss Debbie, totally enjoyed this video both pts 1 and 2. Loved seeing you grate the coconut and squeeze out the milk, reminded me of my beloved Mom, who Sunday after Sunday would do the same. Growing up in England of course, we didn't do the coal stove and wood fire, but when I finally got to Jamaica and ate from my Grandmother's legendary kitchen, I tasted for myself, that authentic rice n peas, with the smoke flavor, cooked on her coal stove. Brought back memories, always a fan, keep up the good work Ms. Debbie & God bless.
I love it Mrs Debbie it really brings back old time memories of my past life. Back then it was hard work, I hated it, I mumbled but my mother wasn’t going to have any of it, we didn’t have any choice but to do our work, but you made it looks so easy. God bless you Mrs Debbie.
OMG Ms. Debbie...I use to hate when I had to grate coconut when I was small.....My fingers use to always get grate with it....But yes, I use to eat de coconut whenever I had to grate and I use to get in trouble with my mother for it...All the time...LOL memories
