    Really enjoyed this series. Thanks for sharing the whole process with everyone.
    One day I will use these videos as a blueprint for my first shack 😂
    Great to see you have your happy place back.

    Hi James wow it is really taking shape, I will sort the plane fare for you to come and build one for us, looking forward to see it all completed, great job.

      haha, trust me - you don't want me building it. I change my mind too much and second guess every decision I make for it so it would get frustrating fast lol

      Thanks! Getting it to this point was great as you could see the light at the end of the tunnel

    Hey James. Nice job on the power and lighting wiring. All lovely and tidy. Where did you hide the led driver and junction boxes? Nice hack on the ikea cabinets.

      Thanks Johnny, The box I made to hold them all was mounted on the back of the wall with the peg board and had a face panel screwed over the top of it (basically inside the stud frame of the shack.) I then used some of the left over polycarbonate roof to to cover the top of the box in case any rain got to it.
      If I need access to it I can jump up on the bank and go around the back of the wall but I will rarely need access to it so I didn't really want it mounted inside the shack

    Great videos. What LED lights did you use?

    • @Barbechoo
      @Barbechoo  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Brian, they were made by a local electrical wholesaler my cousin uses but I have found similar on Amazon - These aren't the exact lights but they look very similar to what I have
      Lights - amzn.to/3WiUme0
      Driver - amzn.to/3InXqjm
      I'll have an article out soon listing everything I used to put it together

    James just wondering what roof lights you used? I know you’ e the strip lights but what is you main light source?

    • @Barbechoo
      @Barbechoo  ปีที่แล้ว

      I actually ended up not using the LED baton lights in the middle of the roof because the LED Tape around the edge of the shack was so bright - seemed like a waste to another light

    James have you done electrics as ring main or radial ? .

    • @Barbechoo
      @Barbechoo  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Tim, they are wired radial coming from the original outdoor socket and terminating at the single socket in the roof

      Don't over load it fella or your trip switch will be going all the time👍

      No don't worry, my cousin is a spark and has checked it all. I won't be running much off the plugs etc. Mostly led lights and rotisseries which don't draw a large load and the lighting is all LED too
