I remember the interviews the 80’s bands gave when they released those 90’s records and they would all say that key phrase “we’re going for something different on this record”.No one could just say “we’re hopping on a trend to stay relevant”.

Bon Jovi past that Rubicon almost intact - strange but is because female legions . Album " Faith " 1992 . and album after ( forget name ) , " ...Ways "from 1995 . and Crush 2000.

I dig fight. Both offerings. The second one, A Small Deadly Space, had some songs that still stand up today, like Human Crate and Legacy Of Hate.

Me too, I also liked when the band was just called Halford. What I wasn't into and think they were talking about was a short lived band Halford was in called TWO, I couldn't name one song from it. I think it's similar to nine inch nails.

@@irocitZ yeah, but I think the Halford band is different guys from the Fight band, except forRob. Yeah, Two was a different thing altogether. That shit was shit for sure. The first tune on that Two project was maybe the most tolerable on there and I think it was called, I Am A Pig.

In the 90's record company money was drying up for the 70'-80'S bands. Why did the record companies put money into the videos for Vertex. I never heard of vertex. Arcade was good but one could feel the winds changing on the music being played at the time.

You are missing some context on Warrant, Cherry Pie was supposed to be Uncle Toms Cabin. Dog Eat Dog was dark and paranoid as hell, this wasnt new turf to them by the mid 90s

The irony is Family Picnic sounds like it could have been on Facelift.

90s music was horrible, right around 1993 I threw my radio right in the trash. I knew something was wrong when Headbangers Ball started playing alternative videos, after that it was all downhill. Thankfully I still have my Camaro

... and AYM is arguably in my top 3 Warrant songs! LOL! AYM is actually pointing out the contradictions of the grunge moment of that time. That said, Shadowlife is still dog shit!

Wow! That sounded like Warrant said "Let's make an AIC song, that's what the kids like these days". Terrible.
