Alicent’s depth in this show is just fantastic. Great reaction Jody, you be you.
Jody.... You trippin. first of all, Baela was only supposed to scout and report back about their possible position. And if that dragon does spoit fire into those woods, or even when they entered, those woods are gonna catch fire and they will know what happened. Plus, it's not good for the story to kill alicent's brother and lover already. That is not how cole dies bruh. You need to chill and the story play out. this is good shit we are watching. This isn't the last season of GoT, this isn't "and just like that," this is The Acolyte. This is good writing and a plot that is going somewhere.
Exactly my thoughts, and I'll add something more to that. At this point Jody had read parts of the letter and believed that Alicante has sent encouraging words, potentially having an opportunity now for Rhaenyra to speak to Alicent to avoid the ensuing chaos that seems imminent. Imagine what her killing Ser Criston Cole and Alicent brother would have done for Rhaenyra decision to speak with Alicent. That final scene doesn't happen if Cole and Alicent brother were murdered. You can't want both things to occur, that's nonsensical, but I get Jody's emotions in that moment and I agree that it was directed poorly in the seconds as the Dragon was in near sights.
plus hes not wearing a helmet lol and i would assume a horse for a kingsguard can be distinguished just like the armor can. they also tried to show she had good vision by showing the ground from high up where from the looks of it to the us the viewers theres nothing there but yet she still saw them. yeah did they kinda brush it off by cutting directly to a scene with her saying it was cole? sure, but it seems like hes already made up his mind and being stubborn with certain things.
@@Leosoccer7he was already was looking for an issue as soon as the scene starts. And it was literally addressed in the next scene they’re asking her how she knew. Also idk if you noticed the audience can also see the group from Moondancer’s POV shot you can see the armor moving when the sunlight hits it, that’s how they were noticed
the letters sent when aemond kill luke for apologize to rhaenyra. not when haelena kid beheaded. alicent is not good as you think, don't forget she's hypocrite too.
In the book Alicent is portrayed as evil stepmother as she and Rhaenyra are 8 years apart. I like show Alicent better as she’s closer on age to Rhaenyra and are close like sisters!
@@JodysCorner you better check episode 1 when alicent said about that letters. not to forget rhaenyra is gone searching for the remaining of her sweet boy luke who killed by alicent son's dragon, so she's dgaf about the letter that alicent sent and that's why she's ignore her letter.
@@JodysCorner They mentioned it in episode 1 of season 2, she asked at the council if there had been a response from Rhaneyra via raven and ironrod said, "a response to an apology for her dead son" (the scene after sir criston "serviced her"). They said it JODY!!! lol.
Matt Smith (who plays daemon) and George R.R.Martin (the writer of the books) both say daemon loves Rhaenyra, and despite of his bad actions and his desire for power in the past, he is extremely loyal to her now. They had a FIGHT in the previous episode, and he still went to Harrenhall to claim it and I swear to you he is going to fight for her and die for her if it comes to it. If he wanted the throne, he would've done a dissaster by now. He doesn't want the throne, he supports Rhaenyra, he even supports JACE being the heir instead of his children with her. He only disagrees with her decisions, because he thinks she is the same as Viserys who was a passive king, and not very good at rulling. I like your reactions though, they are real
Damnit Jody, about that scene with dragon-on-Cole: She WASN'T SUPPOSED TO ENGAGE! Rhaenyra specifically directed her NOT TO ENGAGE!!!! THAT'S why she didn't fry those mother-douche-freakers! Not because she couldn't, or the director was wrong or whatever. Pay freaken attention to the conversation in the council afterwards, she already basically overstepped her instructions just by doing that flyover that closely. You could of course argue with the appropriateness of those instructions from Rhaenyra, but that's neither here nor there: her direction was to NOT engage, so Baeyla (sp?) probably wanted just to scare them and/or ascertain their identity, and via an already too-risky, too-close approach. So, you disrespectful reactor, stop thinking that you are the smartest S since smart S and questioning some of the best film directors in the world because you think that you are better-informed after 10 seconds of watching a clip of an episode. The merit of the direction is composed of multiple layers that you cannot parse within a few seconds of interaction, all while battling your co-hosts concurrently, and barely displaying even the most-modest modicum of honest humility throughout. To be fair, you might have included additional qualifications pertaining to this scene on the "full" Patreon reaction -- but I do not currently have access to that, and just like you chastise your viewers for interpreting your TV-show reactions relative to the books, which you have not read; similarly, I am interpreting your TH-cam reactions without reference to your Patreon full deal -- the TH-cam reaction should stand on its own in a fully-coherent, internally-consistent manner, regardless of what the Patreon version offers to its viewers. All that said, still quite an enjoyable reaction, and of course I understand that your arrogance and grandstanding are part of your style and the marketing of your content to your audience, along with the correlated conflict with your co-hosts -- all good for me as a viewer. I stopped my previous Patreon subscription partially because your arrogance and the disrespect displayed towards you co-hosts overstepped my boundaries of proper comportment, but I will probably still re-join at some point. Continue what you're doing, but please, tone the arrogance down a bit, towards both: professionals who (although you are absolutely entitled to criticize them within your ethical rights as a viewer) are operating on an elite level that you will just not be able to understand sufficiently without some more profound study (i.e., deep-dive...), as almost nobody could; and towards your co-hosts, whose opinions are just as valid and carefully considered as yours, usually. I think the quality of your production would strongly benefit from a moderating touch. But of course, what do I know? -- feel free to defensively dismiss and attack, in line with the aforementioned tendencies. Good video regardless!
@@KingMetsu Well, I'm flattered. Might be the most positive praise I've gotten, well maybe not EVER I guess, but certainly for a long time. Appreciated! And I'm sure Jody and co. will keep putting out banger reactions that we'll keep enjoying in our free time.
@@physaks Most welcome Indeed! Yea I was really annoyed with Jody about that scene as well. He spent a good 10 minutes complaining about her not torching the scouts and being able to recognize Ser Criston when it's literally explained why she didn't engage in the next scene. Yet he decides to edit out that part of the reaction lol🤦🏾♂️bruh. I still rock wit him but that annoyed the hell out of me lol.
Rhaenyra should have known Alicent is powerless now. Mysaria should have informed her prior to allowing the KL adventure. People who watch the show (not book readers) will recall Otto had the plan for Aegon II succession in the works years before Vicerys died. Whether Alicent misunderstood Vicerys before he died or not the plan was in motion. The Dance of Dragons would have happened regardless. Things to keep in mind based on what the show has told us… 1. Vicerys made this mess because he was not a decisive king and ignored all the red flags that were blaring. 2. Vicerys told Alicent during the Royal hunt when they were at the fire and he had been drinking that he had a dream and his son would be king. He specifically said when he named Rhaenyra he had no idea he’d have a son. He was sure of his dream. So her interpretation of what he said on his deathbed was in line with this conversation. 3. Rhaenys told young Rhaenyra that the realm would never accept her as queen. Her specific words were that the realm would sooner tear itself apart than see a woman ascend the Iron Throne. She has told Corlys the same thing when Vicerys came to Driftmark to propose a match with Laenor and Rhaenyra. She said the knives will come out for Rhaenyra. 4. Alicent and Rhaenyra are surrounded by men who don’t take them seriously. Alicent is powerless to maneuver through court and get the result she wants. Aegon wasn’t crowned because of Alicent’s misunderstanding. He was crowned because Otto had the plan in motion for years. Rhaenyra was naive to think Alicent could stop the war. Her own council wants her out of sight because they think they can orchestrate the war better. Both Aemond and Daemon killed children on the other side. The war is unstoppable unless Rhaenyra gives up her claim. Even then Daemon would not allow it. So blaming Alicent is like blaming Rhaenyra for the death of Aegon’s son. It was done by her side but not on her specific orders. It’s out of control. The genie is out of the bottle. War is inevitable unless one side bends the knee to avoid death and destruction. Neither side is capable of doing so.
@@doomnotron She risks harm if she speaks up. I don't want that for her. Would you give her credit if she confides in someone she trusts with the truth?
@@JodysCorner Nah, because the whole argument is she is a good person. If, hypothetically, there is only a 1 percent chance of saving the world from a devastating war, I would personally take that risk. She had zero qualms yapping when her son was going to be in power knowing damn well shit was going to pop off. Let her keep that same energy.
I’ve legit been watching this channel since I was a senior in high school back in 2017 when I was 16-17. now I’m 24 and still enjoying watching this channel with jody and his team.
That last convo was a HUGE turning point. Rhae knows there was no deceit, or spite here and it was a genuine misunderstanding for Alicent. Should really change how Rhae approaches things now, I think she'll try and limit bloodshed.
I swear man. When he said call me “your grace” it’s because they dont have a term of how the queen’s consort who’s not the “king” should be addressed and he’s making new terms as he moves.
the director confirmed those are the eggs the black is drogon the green is rheagal the yellow/gold one is verserion maybe the blue one gets lost or something
They are Danny's eggs they are fresh and new so the colours are bright by the time Danny gets them they are basically dead eggs that have fossilised 100s of yrs old no one thought they was gonna hatch she was given them a a decoration gift
I can’t stand by seeing daemon getting dissed like this so here’s what’s up, When he said call me “your grace” it’s because they dont have a term of how the queen’s consort who’s not the “king” should be addressed and he’s making new terms as he moves. The 7 kingdoms never had a queen so such terms don’t exist. When daemon entered the hall. The lord strong swore to serve rhaynera and not daemon. Daemon never tried usurp his wife, in fact he’s been trying his best to give her whatever she needed, he’s rash and impulsive, but loyal, he’s a warrior and he can’t sit still but he wants the glory for his house to restored.
Alicent has no power at all. Heleana actually has more power than Alicent has, think about that. There is nothing at all Alicent can do. Even if she could, why would she? Aegon would be a usurper to the throne, treason, executed. Aemond killed Luke, executed. The council all committed treason, all executed. So basically everyone she knows would be executed. It is too late to stop anything, even if she did have the power, which she does not. When Aegon asked Rhaenyra to submit to the crown he gave terms.. she would be given dragonstone, her sons would all be giving high rank and position. No one was going to be executed. Why didnt Rhaenyra offer terms? "When you play the game of thrones you either win or you die". Also keep in mind, no one believed Alicent anyway, just the other episode Otto told Aegon that Viserys did not want him as heir. When Alicent told the council, everyone looked around like yeah... right.
Alicent said "there's been no mistake". Her face shows she knows what's up, but she is choosing to double down. She is standing on business because, yes, it's too late and too much has happened, yes, she is powerless, and yes, she could get murked.
Daemon being called “prince” undermines Rhaenyra. He is not a prince anymore. He is the King consort. Many times they are called “your grace.” Once Alicent is Queen consort, she is called your grace a bunch.
@@JodysCorner even if he corrected it for himself, he has the right to. Being a king consort makes you "your grace". Alicent did the same in 1x03 to show off her power of the queen to the guy playing music to Rhaenyra. Imo Daemon does love Rhaenyra, so I think he corrected them for Rhaenyra but you're free to think otherwise.
@@JodysCorner Yeah don’t think the guy didn’t mean it that way but Dameon definitely took it that way. And if you accept Rhaenyra as Queen (which the guy did) then Daemon is no longer a prince so it needs to be changed.
yes he is a prince, he definitely is not called King consort, he is the Queen's consort. Queen's consort is prince, not grace. Look at Queen Elizabeth's husband, he was called Prince, not King, because then he would be above the Queen.
@@randallwilliamson3838 this is Westeros, not Great Britain. Rhaenys literally calls him king consort in this season. Queen consorts have typically been called “your grace” in the show.
I'd say Rhaenyra holding a knife is ironic because the last time they were face to face, it was Alicent who raised a knife to Rhaenyra for revenge against Aemond losing his eye. "Now they will see what you are." That's some foreshadowing for yo' ass!
Rahaenyra’s father specifically refused the poppy of the milk because he wanted to have his full faculties at his final meal with his family and he proclaimed his daughter as in line to the throne in front of everyone. Minutes before the King’s death while hallucinating on the milk of the poppy he starts talking, he doesn’t know who he is talking to, the only name the King actually said aloud in that episode was his first wife, that’s how medicated the King was. I am glad Rahaenyra took a weapon to protect herself, she would have been stupid not to she didn’t know what the reception would be. I am team black, but I think Alicent is still in shock about what Rahaenyra revealed to her, but I will hope she tries to make amends by the next episode
I'm so disappointed in HBO, I can't believe they skipped the battle of "Burning Mill". It's supposed to be one of the bloodiest battles that set the tone for the rest of the war.
I’m tired of you writing this dumbass comment on every video you see, people have already told you battles cost millions to produce. Who’s spending that type of money on a battle of nobodies?
@@vargr2089that’s no excuse. They’re the ones who decide who gets introduced and when lol. This battle also features a great moment for Alysanne Blackwood who will play a role down the line so it sucks it wasn’t shown at all
@heyarnoldfan12 they aren't going to show anything that doesn't have one of the pov characters in it, they've pretty much said that. So don't expect it in the future, I agree it's kind of a hindrance to the storytelling but it's not going to change and probably isn't feasible budget wise
your right Jody Allicent cant stop it now she even said to Rheanerya Otto is no longer hand of the king so she is powerless and so is Otto the war is happening its too late Allicent haters want to use this to there adavantage
Alicent never had a chance to stop anything, really. Otto was told by his brother to push Aegon, and that was in episode 3 of last season. Otto told Alicent in episode 5 that Rhaenyra's claim would be challenged. And the when Alicent told the Council about Viserys's "last minute change of heart", their reaction was basically, "Oh. That's nice. So anyway, on to our plans we already had in place". Alicent's misunderstanding didn't help anything, but Alicent was never in charge of any part of her path, honestly...
It's not the fact of what she can and can't do. She won't even acknowledge she screwed up. She said blatantly she didn't make a mistake after you could see it in her face clearly that she realized she did.
@@JodysCorner i literally just said that. She knew she was wrong you saw it on her face, but you are being in denial about the fact she still wouldn't admit it. She literally said multiple times i didn't make a mistake. Reanerya even pulled her back and was like what do you mean? And was like so you mean your pride is going to let thousands of people die. Then she snatched her arm back and was like i did not make a mistake there was no mistake made. She couldn't even admit it to her so called friend even though you could see in her eyes she knew she did.
I'm Completely Team Black, and what Jody is saying right this is a very nuanced conversation, I will say Alicent knows shes wrong and she also said there was no mistake and there's no putting this back in the tube. She is afraid of her sons and what they're capable of.
Jody look at season 1 GOT eggs, they're petrified showing how old they are. I'm not sure if they're Dany's eggs but it's possible. They look very similar in color.
Just FYI...Arryk (Team Alicent) was the one who said "you parted us"...which is basically the same thing he said about Erryk to Criston Cole earlier in the episode. That's how I was able to determine who was who.
There are many sides to a story depending on who is telling it. Viserys first thought it would be his son. Didn't work out. "Oh, it must be my daughter." Alicent gives birth to his first son. "Oh I didn't dream I would have a son. Was I wrong? Oh well." EVERYBODY hears what they want to hear. Daemon and Otto are fighting for their HOUSE. Alicent is fighting for her kids. Rhyneara is fighting because she believes she alone can save the world. Everybody is bugging.
So what exactly some people expected Alicent to do? Just go to tell Aegon (who’s son just have been killed) give up the throne to Rhaenyra? Alicent doesn’t have any power, it’s too late. And Otto and others was planning to take the throne already before Viserys died so that wouldn’t changed anything even if Alicent wasn't involved in it. Just made it easier
She could have used her brain in the beginning, she's power hungry, that lead her to hearing what she wanted to hear. She literally knew her son was a ra*ist so why would she trust him with the crown??
Alicent power is weaker now, but she still has some power because when cole said we full over here(before he rode off) she was like well make room(for her brother). He did it in a heartbeat
Daemon using the style Your Grace is treason. He is King Consort and his proper title is Prince Daemon. Most viewers missed this detail because they fawn over Daemon and no matter what he does he looks so cool doing it. Lord Simon Strong understood the meaning of what Daemon was doing and that’s why he was so hesitant to use it. Treason is treason.
Is it? I thought every Queen Consort was addressed as "your Grace" by extension of their husbands, the Kings. For a moment, I thought Daemon was proclaiming his own King status to spite Rhaenyra. Regardless of what his ego tells him, he still would be addressed as your Grace by those who swore loyalty to Rhaenyra's ascension to Queen of the Realm.
@@cos0 Daemon was a prince before king consort. His style is My Prince. That’s why Strong had the reaction he did as well as others in the room. They made a big deal to show the reaction. It’s no biggie. Folks love Daemon even though he’s a bad guy. The irony.
@jdsthird And Helaena was a Princess before she became Queen, and henceforth she's addressed as her Grace. So are the showrunners wrong? Is George wrong? Are you wrong? Or am I wrong? I think it's very simple that there is a tier list with titles and by marriage Daemon should be addressed by any of those who take Rhanaeyra's claim seriously and to oath. The only reasons to be reluctant in addressing Daemon as Grace is either because they don't truly accept and realize Rhanaeyra's ascension and move into Lord of the Realms, which personally is what I believe, or, that they are not used to the new titles passing over ever since Viserys passed away. Both can be true at the same time as well. But I don't feel Simon Strong is fully committed to seeing Rhaenyra as the rightful ruler of the Wetseros and for good reason. We haven't seen anything positive come from The Blacks, while The Greens have won over King's Landing. I'm not saying that is true for Simon, but for most lords of the realm, the inaction is being interpreted as Rhanaeyra keeling over to Aegon.
@@cos0 Helena was never the heir. You can’t mold the situation to fit a narrative. Daemon is styled My Prince. Ask GRRM. This is his story. I agree with you it’s all semantics. Neither Aegon or Rhaenyra are good rulers. Rhaenys is acceptable but the Conciliator had a great council that set precedent that Viserys ignored. It’s his mess because he couldn’t deal with his family.
@@cos0 Simon Strong “I assumed as king consort…” This was after he pledged for Rhaenyra. He hates Larya who is in bed with the Hightowers. Why would he be hesitant to use Your Grace? It makes sense to listen to what the story is giving us. But it’s all semantics. I’m here for the dance of the dragons and the extinction of House Targaryen.
Thanks! They still have affinity for one another, but Rhaenyra now knows what she needs to do. She is aware of the position that Allicent is in. Let the WAR begin!
Daemon demanding to be called 'Your Grace' isn't him declaring himself King. The consort of the ruler is always called 'Your Grace.' Alicent and Cersei were both called 'Your Grace.'
Alicent and Cersei were the QUEENS not consorts... Daemon is the Queens Consort, PRINCE, not your grace, that is why they were all shocked when he said it. Have you ever heard of "Prince Philip"? You know the guy married to Queen Elizabeth for 50+ years? He was never called grace, he was called PRINCE.
@randallwilliamson3838 - Alicent and Cersei were Queen consorts. Not queens in their own rights. Cersei not until later. Also, like I've said. GRRM hasn't copied British monarchy protocols and rules so using them as a comparison is pointless. E.g. using 'Your Grace' for the monarch was never used in British royalty. Your Grace is also used for the spouse of the monarch in ASOIAF.
This episode highlights how both Rhaenyra and Alicent are two women struggling with power in a male dominated world you see how one of the men in rhaenyras council openly disrespects her and the men in the green council just glosses over Alicents approach for peace
You liked that last scene? I hated it from a logistics standpoint. I just don’t think that it accomplished anything for Rhaenyra besides putting herself in danger because even if Allicent agreed with her than what could they both have realistically done? Nothing is the answer. It’s too late to stop Daemon and Aegon and Aemon etc.
Bad episode imo. That conversation delivered everything I predicted. Rhaenrya is the sanest Targaryen we have ever seen probably. She came in with a theme of their friendship and concern for people of the realm. First response he got from trash Alicent is "You don't have armies, you can't win" blablabla... She knows she is deep in this and she doubled down on it. Going into a war knowing that she was wrong all the time. Everything we have seen from Alicent, her way of talking and thinking turned out to be true. She is a cunning, power hungry corrupt individual.
Idk if you guys have seen the series but I would love to see you guys also react to The White Queen it’s based on true royal history that this novel was based on according to George R. R. Martin. Real families fighting and killing each other for the throne it was really crazy. So in case y’all haven’t seen it I think you’d have a solid following when it comes to that show. It’s on STARZ.
I hate how Rhaena is being done. Her egg should be pink and she should hatch it and they’re just trying to erase the canon character nettles. I kinda hope some of the writers for S2 get replaced. Then on top of that only baela and Rhaenys care about her everyone else is cold and dismissive
@@JodysCornerit’s not an adaptation, that’s why I said. They changed it. Rhaena has her own egg, and they removed her pink dragon with Danaerys’ egg to get the attention of GOT show fans. They’re trying to cut a canon black girl character. That’s changes and I don’t know why they aren’t adapting the actual book
@@JodysCorner they’re changing Rhaena’s story to be different from the book to try to cut another character that Daemon grows close with. She’s supposed to have a pink dragon egg instead of another set of eggs. That’s a change from an actual adaptation
You can see these guys don't pay any attention to the show's context and dialogue, still arguing about which twin was the last standing before he offed himself fgs. So you rather want Baela to burn Cole and his party alive and instigate a war that hasn't even started yet when she got clear instructions not to engage in battle. She recognized Cole from the back by his hair and kingsguard armor when she came up close not when she was hundreds of meters up in the sky. Use your goddamn brain if you have any. Raenyra having a dagger is just for precaution. She didn't know what was gonna happen when she approached Alicent.
I feel for daemon though... Both him and rhaenyra were correct in there argument... The only thing her and her father didn't trust him... But he didn't do the things they don't trust him for... I believe him... He hasnt actually lied to anyone in his family... Not even once... Check the show
Thank you Jody for being one of the few men who actually understands Alicent's character. I'm worried about your friends not realizing that Alicent was a 14 year old CHILD when Otto pimped her out and Viserys groomed her to marry her. Viserys had no business marrying his daughter's childhood bestie either but no one blames them for hat they've done. Alicent is a complex character, she's powerless, she's extremely alone and is being eaten alive by guilt, that's why she fucked that loser, as a form of self-harm. I think Alicent will become a double-agent to try to right her wrongs to Rhaenyra without being caught, she knows Aegon and Aemond are gone. Rhaenyra and Alicent incredibly conflicted characters.
Although i understand Alicent and her tough position, she is still easy to dislike for multiple reasons. A few examples would be her ignoring her son crying over his dead son... instead of comforting him, she goes off to bang cole. And Alicent was upset at rhaenyra for banging cole 20 years back... Alicent has a little hypocrisy in her. Also, when rhaenyra lied to Alicent about sleeping with him, Rhaenyra said "i swear this on the memory of my mother" and Alicent used those same words in this episode... Alicent is so petty for using the same words smh. She been holding that one in for years. I don't understand how you fault Rhaenyra for not opening the letters for possible peace and then accept it when Alicent leaves saying "it's too late". Of course I agree with Alicent its been to late way before that... but when you wanted rhaenyra to open the letters, I just shook my head. Both sides lost sons, Peace was never a option at that point. However, im not trying to convince you to dislike Alicent, but she isn’t an angel you make her out to be. She is as flawed as most people in the show.
Now alicent knows that her husband didn't want her son as the king yet she still chooses to say nothing. Also she should have screamed and had her gaurds come in and take rahneyra, alicent would have died but this war would have ended
why does jody keep crying about rhaenyra and alicent not wanting to go to war but harp on baela not lighting criston up or looking for the "nearby army" that may or may not be there?

Heck naw, this wasn't the best episode of the series. This was a mid episode as a whole, and it's been two mid episodes in a row, including last week's. Rhaenyra going to King's Landing was STUPID, but I understand why she went. She's meant to rule, not be a martyr, and throw her life away carelessly. Rhaenyra knows she's exposed; she was nearly assassinated by one of the twins, Daemon, her husband and go -to guy is gone, and they're on the outs, they have no army (yet), and she was so exposed that she sent her younger children to Essos. Baela and Moondancer should have done SOMETHING, even if not destroy Cristen Cole and his company in the Riverlands; that sequence was an instance of trailer trickery, and NOTHING became of it. This episode was a C+ or B-.
the good came for Rhaenyra she wants to talk to alicent to avert war, Rhaenyra the one who did this risk move, not alicent. not because shes reading the letter from alicent for apologize to Rhaenyra dead son.

Baela was instructed not to take action.
Baela knew it was Cole because his King’s guard armor is different from regular knights
plus hes not wearing a helmet lol and i would assume a horse for a kingsguard can be distinguished just like the armor can. they also tried to show she had good vision by showing the ground from high up where from the looks of it to the us the viewers theres nothing there but yet she still saw them. yeah did they kinda brush it off by cutting directly to a scene with her saying it was cole? sure, but it seems like hes already made up his mind and being stubborn with certain things.
How do you know that? For a fact?
It was mentioned in the small council meeting in the first episode by allicent@@JodysCorner love ya brother
He called Raenyra YOUR GRACE. the bad twin would never call her that.
Bad twin?😂😂
@@qaaronrodgers2479 you know what I meant lol 😂

Things to keep in mind based on what the show has told us…
"We went to war. If it's a lie, then we fight on that lie." - SLIM FROM THE WIRE
E-man called it! Put some respect on his name. War was inevitable and Alicent aint shit.
E-Man called NOTHING. Y'all are short sighted.

@@doomnotron She risks harm if she speaks up. I don't want that for her. Would you give her credit if she confides in someone she trusts with the truth?
@@JodysCorner Nah, because the whole argument is she is a good person. I remember you too!
That last convo was a HUGE turning point. Rhae knows there was no deceit, or spite here and it was a genuine misunderstanding for Alicent. Should really change how Rhae approaches things now, I think she'll try and limit bloodshed.
Jory, you’re absolutely right about the eggs. One hatches for Rhaena. The other three are Danys babies.
DAEMON IS NOT THE USURPER
10 episodes of the 1st season to prove it and yet reactors behave like it's the very first episode.
AYE!
The Blue one would be Baby Visery’s egg
They are Danny's eggs they are fresh and new so the colours are bright by the time Danny gets them they are basically dead eggs that have fossilised 100s of yrs old no one thought they was gonna hatch she was given them a a decoration gift

It was confirmed that the eggs were indeed drogon, viserion, and rhaegal from the show writers! 😁👍
They confirmed that this are Danny's eggs
Daemon being called “prince” undermines Rhaenyra. He is not a prince anymore. He is the King consort. Many times they are called “your grace.” Once Alicent is Queen consort, she is called your grace a bunch.
I don't think me meant it to undermine Rhaenyra, rather than to undermine Daemon.
Such a misunderstanding of Daemon’s character.
I'd say Rhaenyra holding a knife is ironic because the last time they were face to face, it was Alicent who raised a knife to Rhaenyra for revenge against Aemond losing his eye. "Now they will see what you are." That's some foreshadowing for yo' ass!
Don’t let em gaslight you bro, Moondancer should’ve BBQd that Criston Cole goofball.
NGL, I wanted to see that Battle.
I think they didn’t show it cause we don’t know anyone who played a part in it (in the show at least)

your right Jody Allicent cant stop it now she even said to Rheanerya Otto is no longer hand of the king so she is powerless and so is Otto the war is happening its too late Allicent haters want to use this to there adavantage
I think people are too thick headed to see that fact.
@@marcgregory8431 Read between the lines. She knew she was wrong after hearing the story of ice and fire.
@@JodysCorner i literally just said that. She knew she was wrong you saw it on her face, but you are being in denial about the fact she still wouldn't admit it.
It could very well be the same eggs. Maybe they lost the 4th one.
@@doudymac the 4th one would be Baby Visery’s egg
Just FYI...Arryk (Team Alicent) was the one who said "you parted us"...which is basically the same thing he said about Erryk to Criston Cole earlier in the episode. That's how I was able to determine who was who.
I don’t think you understand at this point if she starts sending out dragons, she is sending out her children to fight.
Showrunner confirmed these eggs are Dany's
lol at the passion to turn anything into dichotomy
You are doing to much just reaching..smh

This was really good love this channel
Jody you are point with your perspective between Alicent and Rhaenyra
Yall forget she was ordered not to engage... Burning a forest down
Jody is spot on about Alicent.
Alicent sent the letter before jaherys was killed
This episode highlights how both Rhaenyra and Alicent are two women struggling with power in a male dominated world you see how one of the men in rhaenyras council openly disrespects her and the men in the green council just glosses over Alicents approach for peace
I 100% agree with you Jody!! Thanks for always having the best insights and not being blindly biased 👏
Thank you! And you're welcome!
It was 172 years before Danarys not 300 years so it would make sense if those are the eggs
Alicent sent the raven before the baby was killed.
Do they watch it first then record? They way they manage to have the most ridiculous conversation literally seconds before the answer has to be a plan
Is E Man acoustic?
I gotta say this Jody is 100% correct.
You shouldn't put book knowledge on this show. Read the books to relive those precious moments. Let this ADAPTATION be told.
I think the 4th egg is Prince Viserys (Rhaenyra’s youngest son) egg as His egg hasn’t hatched. Stormcloud is Prince Aegon ( Rhaenyra’s son) dragon.
@@JodysCorner they’re changing Rhaena’s story to be different from the book to try to cut another character that Daemon grows close with. She’s supposed to have a pink dragon egg instead of another set of eggs. That’s a change from an actual adaptation
@@Goldenaerrowsthe showrunner lied and said he wouldn’t change anything. They want to remove nettles to prop up a ship and whitewash rhaenyra
Rhaenyra did get through to alicent... There just as nothing she can do... She now knows she was wrong... Did you hear her choke on "the conqueror"?
Aegon will listen to her after next episode!
Now alicent knows that her husband didn't want her son as the king yet she still chooses to say nothing. Also she should have screamed and had her gaurds come in and take rahneyra, alicent would have died but this war would have ended
Aight jodi... Partially right... She's not scared... But there is nothing she can do
wanna watch but it’s a pain hearing jodi talking about something completely wrong 🤦🏾
In too deep at this point I feel the need to stand by Alicent all day
Its 170 or 180 years before Game of Thrones not 300
Facts
why does jody keep crying about rhaenyra and alicent not wanting to go to war but harp on baela not lighting criston up or looking for the "nearby army" that may or may not be there?
You keep bringing up the death of the baby as if the greens didn’t kill rhaneya’s son first , he was a child too, don’t keep bringing up the baby as if she didn’t lose her son first ..
He was no child. He was a dragon rider who got killed. Not the same.
@@JodysCorner he was still a child , he was not more than 14 and even if he wasn’t it’s still her son, he keeps bringing up the baby like as if that’s when the war started
@@ozee7404 act like your watching a period piece. your a woman the day you bleed (which can be as early as 10) and your a man as soon as you can properly swing a sword. smfh...
@@JodysCorner let’s pretend a 14 year old is a man , that’s still her child , don’t skip the fact that her throne was taken and her son was killed by the same people that took her crown and just keep mentioning the baby that was killed , Aemond killing her son was enough to start the war , Aegon taking her crown was enough to start the war, stop acting the war is going to happen coz they killed the baby
E man is right
Freak the team black/team green shit. Been team Rhaenyra since day one!
😂 man stfu, your LITERALLY on team black then... Stop copying Jody's bs
That’s why I tweeted what I tweeted you… Alicent can DIE lol Told truth and “no mistake”
You must learn to eliminate the hate from your heart my friend.
Daemon is nothing but LOYAL to Rhaenyra to the very end. Read the book.
screw the book. watch the show
@@JodysCorner screw the book? That’s where the story comes from…..
Where is the Kode?
Jody the only mf who gets me
good episode series still hard yo vet used to but good show
She was told not to attack them just spy
Jody is always wrong in this show 😂
Those eggs are Dany’s eggs!! In the book it’s supposed to be Dreamfyre’s eggs, but in the show looks like they were Syrax’s eggs (Rhaenyra’s dragon)!
Chill think
Big Boy dnt think at ALL he just be TALKING amd doesnt LISTEN....all his bs reasons are being told IN THE SHOW why its wrong or not done lol
the good came for Rhaenyra she wants to talk to alicent to avert war, Rhaenyra the one who did this risk move, not alicent. not because shes reading the letter from alicent for apologize to Rhaenyra dead son.
sheesh...
the good came from allicent too.... don't you think she would've screamed after her convo with rhaenyra was done if she wasn't? Come on dude think
@@exclusive.e she's not screaming but clearly not helping to avert this war tho. all of this happens because of her missunderstood.
Umm-Hmm I thought you were Team Green last season..... I told Alicient was a Hypocrite.
And don't get me wrong I feel for both of them..also know it's to late but reaching
Women aren't violent by nature. That's a man thing. We like and condone violence and conquest! I believe in gender roles. This show is accurate in that fact. (so far)
4!
why we keep blaming Rhaenyrafor the baby... that was all Daemon.
Aemond would be a better king than both of these rulers .
❤
E man right
Shame......shame........
Jody is reaching, she is going to pentos, that is also where Laena and Daemon lived before Laena died... has no game of thrones connection
I said that. I was just hoping. I said "what if" damn. I thought it would be cool.
@@JodysCorner alot of people forgot about my girl, Laena
@@JodysCorner You were spot on - the director confirmed that those were indeed the eggs that Dany would later receive.
It's called a "theory". And it's not far fetched at all. Highly possible.
Jody was right. Director confirmed.
