I love how Heidi's character is supposed to hate the dog, but she just ends up giving the dog love and making sure it isn't scared. Heidi you are awesome.

I had a 95 pound Doberman and am only 4’10”. He was such a sweet, happy, boy, but he nearly knocked me out a few times when I leaned my head over close to his. He would get excited and happily throw his head up. Hard. Smacked me right in the face a number of occasions. I still miss him, and he has been gone since 2001 or 02.
That poor mom. She’s slowly losing her mind. Their neighbor probably gets abducted by aliens on the reg. Lol.

I happen to love it although took a long time to adjust from living in houses etc. I meet wonderful people all the time. it far beats than sitting in a house isolated at times. however it has is bad sides too.

5 stars. The narrative of the woman finding her voice and standing up for herself after her children push her to be real, and the husband's delusional denial, left open ended so you don't know if she escapes but you wanna believe she will. Good stuff.

This was literally my childhood. My parents raised me and my sister in an rv... I identify with the mom.

Kelly L, I can relate, sort of. When I was allowed to live with my mom, we lived in trailer parks or in abandoned houses. An rv would be fun for a kid for maybe a month, after that 🙀

At the end when Heidi looked Steve in the eyes and said "this is hell, I hate it here" ..it wasn't even funny anymore

Jordan Crass no the reason it’s a bad theory is because it makes NO sense. I don’t see how that correlates at all, I just think the writers thought Steve handled these kind of characters well (he does) and some sketches just fell sorta flat in the end. That’s what happens when you only have a week. There’s not always an underlying theme to every single thing someone writes.
Honestly, I got so sucked into this narrative that I was starting to feel invested in the "pilot" episode of this show 🤣🤣🤣

Heidi and Chance as porn actors was one of the best non-political skits of last season. Heidi just knocks it out of the park. If she did more political impressions maybe she could wrench Kate Mackinnnon out of every god damn sketch, they overuse the shit out of Kate

Actually, this skit represents true life. A lot of (particularly) women "go along" w/ their male partners, adopt their lifestyle, & waste years in a one-sided thing, before finally saying, "I hate it." My experience has been it goes on a lot in the religious realm, where, the male will adopt this alpha dog "preacher in the pulpit" job, and the wife plays some dutiful role & goes along, saying, "I like it."🙄

Not that great of a skit but watching Heidi shine is worth it.
I loved this skit. It's dark because it re-enacts how so many people "sign up" for stuff they think will fulfill them; only to find they were wrong. Hard to 'fess up to people due to pride. Or....it's a nod to women who say YES when they mean NO. The sacrifices of marriage are profound, to those who rise to the occasion. 😁

I think the point is that she was too pressured to admit how she really felt, so she just went along with her husband because she was socialized, as a female, to be a “people pleaser” even when it hurts us. The whole point is that never wanted to do any of it at all.
Even the dog looked uncomfortable with the situation lol.

I tried the RV living thing, this is spot on, it is hell. Not having to deal with where your shit goes or where your water comes from every day is a wonderful thing.

Love this, I had to come back home to College Station and live in an RV as I took a new job on and stayed in my families, meeting all these people and the dogs and how the couples felt is spot on. Good work!

Steve LOVES these “unsatisfied wife who want more from a man” storylines 😂😂😂 the wife reminded me so much of every one of his love interests in The Office 😭😭😭
Heidi's character reminds me of Carol, in that she too was unsatisfied and needed more than Michael could provide at that point. But she doesn't remind me of Jan-- Jan was just batshit crazy. And she certainly doesn't remind me of Holly.
