I have been searching for an easy to learn adolescent friendly ttrpg for a group of secondary school students for our sci-fi club. Many do not have the patience or memory bandwith to play sustained campaigns with complex systems. Masks seems ideal and you have narrated and demonstrated the mechanics so seamlessly. This is hands down the best video explaining how a game works with players actually playing I've seen! Got any more? Subscribed!
Hay man, thanks for this video. My group and I have been moving our Boku no Hero game from Mutans & Masterminds to Masks. And it's been kinda weird, specially on combat, I've getting a hard time changing DM style. This video help me look up for how to handle situations and player actions, thank you

Man, I can hear the regret as you're considering the joys of collateral damage on a giant dam with the city downriver. :) 2:35:00 Ah, you totally robbed Nova of that opportunity he got from Outsider's earlier 10+, the one he generated as he finished off Relic, right before he lost control from the mighty blow. He probably had time to try something like fusing the dam back together with Unleash. Fun playthrough, good vid.
Hi! Thanks for the show and info. I think it can be more interesting to define labels as "how others see you" than "how you feel". This way, the question of feelings keeps fresh and can surprise you mid-air. ;)
Just finished listening to this. This was an amazing session with an amazing game! I'd heard that this game is much more of a superhero game than Champions or Mutants & Masterminds and this session convinced me so. It's one thing to have a system that let's you create whatever kind of character you want, but quite another that really plays out like a superhero comic or show about young superheroes that are coming of age.
This is amazng, thank you a lot for the video. I'm now certainly interested in the game and I'll probably try to get a small group together for a test game at some point (I'm very tempted to just use your overall story from here - only downside is that I can't show the video to the group)

For the most part, I stick to running games for folks that I have gotten to know and have a rapport with. Otherwise it is a bit nerve wracking to GM for folks I don't know at all (I've done it a few times, and it is an anxiety producer for me). So, fame and money don't really enter into it. It's all about folks I gel with.
