On the other hand, I feel that the performance of LOVEBITES is pleasing to the sense that the sound flows from note to note. Here, I feel something like the basic stance of LOVEBITES sound, which emphasizes the value of melody. (both performances are great) This studio live video is precious... This is because you can enjoy the "MIHO and HARUNA solo" that you can't see at other live stages. In particular, HARUNA has outstanding talent, but it's surprising that she doesn't show outstanding solos during her regular lives. Perhaps she thinks, "Drums are just the foundation of performance, and she doesn't need to stand out." After listening to Set The World On Fire, one person said, “This whole song is made of drum solos!” Regarding ASAMI's English pronunciation...she talks about the reason why she sticks to English lyrics as follows. “Vocals use their voice as an instrument to participate in band performances. I feel that English (instrument) tones are more compatible with metal than Japanese (instrument).” For those who feel uncomfortable with her accent, I hope you can enjoy her voice as a "tone" rather than "words"... Haruna is a big Helloween fan, and this song really lets her show off her chops. I like this version more than the original, largely because of the vocals--never liked Kiske's voice. But definitely a classic powermetal song.

Therefore, the entire concert, which was released later on DVD / Blue ray called "Awake Again - Live from Abyss", was given in the studio and broadcast live ( Internet) . At the concert from the studio, LOVEBITES performed in the same order all the songs from the album "Awakening from Abyss" plus the song "Eagle Fly free"(HELLOWEEN cover) . Haruna became interested in heavy metal after hearing HELLOWEEN. And she learned a lot from Uli Kusch (drummer of HELLOWEEN)
Although portrayed/marketed as a live-stream on 10-25 (when I was fortunate enough to 'be there' watching the stream), the Blu-ray booklet says recorded September 10, 2020 at "Soundcrew Studio" Japan. No matter to me, but I thought you might want to know that it was performed/recorded at an earlier date. It was/is an awesome performance of their first full CD release, and getting to watch them do it is very special, the interaction is different because they are performing for each other, moreso than for an audience. (Though Haruna 'breaks-the-fourth-wall' repeatedly, drawing me right into the room with her/them! Miyako does it once, at least, maybe more.)
Please give Asami some slack. Miho wanted someone from the Tokyo area who could sing in English. Asami fitted the bill. Yes she has an accent, but she’s bound to. Did you know that there is no language close to Japanese, not even Korean. When you listen to her spoken English it’s actually not as good as her vocal English. She deserves credit for sounding as good as she does. I’m her biggest supporter, so I’m biased, but put aside her accent. After a while you hardly notice it . Oh and engrave her name on your wrist if you have to! 😂 I just did a search for your reactions and am not sure if you’ve done their cover of Painkiller. It’s not live because it’s a fan bonus track, but if you’re familiar with the original you have to hear how well they absolutely own a very difficult song. If not, go watch the Judas Priest official Painkiller video first, then react to it.

Agree. Dont get hung up on accents and language barriers. Enjoy the Wonderful notes Asami puts forth. I for one find the Japanese language and when singing in quite attractive myself. Btw some would say that they cant understand Rockdariffs southern drawl as say as well as a Northern US Speaker. Its the notes and how well they are arranged and performed is the true Universal Key with Lovebites. Plus they are so Damn Classy,Competent and Beautiful as well.

I think they cover it 100% Only difference beeing vocals since the original is sung by a man..... or perhaps I should say an extra ordinary man who back in the old days had a 4 octave range. However Asami stays in her confort zone and does a good job 👍
Before waiting for something new it seems to me, if I'm not mistaken, that you haven't reacted to the Lovebites pieces that don't have a video. And there are some really good ones. Like "Paranoia" "Mastermind 01" "Warning shot" "Dystopia symphony" "No Time To Hesitate". These tracks are as good or better than the ones you already heard. There is nothing wrong with reacting to the audio version of these tracks that you can find on you-tube.

Hell Yea 🤘 This song is a staple in power metal and Helloween is pretty much gods of power metal. Lovebites did an amazing job with this cover and you check out Helloweens version too and yes the guitar, bass, and drum solo are part of the original as well and wouldnt be a cover if they didnt do it. Helloween is one of Lovebites biggest influences and without Helloween we probably wouldnt have Lovebites. Helloween is what influenced Haruna to be the drummer she is today

LOVEBITES channel have different uploads that are blocked certain geographic locations, I think for them to get a idea of, or control exposure in different areas, as in, all 'views' on that link are in a certain geographic area... but, without doubt, it works for me in Oregon, USA, and I don't think they would 'split' USA into different availability areas.
