You simply can't hide your joy at all! For me it was kind of expected since I've heard it before. I love this version and I think this is exactly what we want to see and hear when a band does a cover of one of our old heroes. Genuine reaction once again!
The utter joy on your face really enhanced my enjoyment of a performance I already adore. I want to hear Our Ladies - especially Haruna - let loose on Queen's "Stone Cold Crazy", although I'm not sure Asami could handle the fast, complex vocals of the song.

Musically its cleaner than the original. This bands ability too nail and enhance genres and styles is Simply Brilliant. They are a one in a Million group of Super Musicians. The best Helloween cover ever! I'm 40 and I was born a metalhead. I have loved Helloween and Gamma Ray for 15 years. I love many metal bands. And Lovebites is one of my the most favorite bands. This incredible all-female metal band from Japan is one of the best metal bands today. I love when Miyako plays guitar and other musical instruments (often piano and keyboards). I'm a big Helloween fan since the 80s and Lovebites nailed it. Heard that Asami and Miyako got married this year and Miyako just had a baby on top of losing Miho so their hiatus may be a while. Can't wait until they are back in action again. Such an amazing band. Hopefully they will be doing lots of song writing during the hiatus. :D

Listen to "Swan Song" with the Chopin Revolutionary Etude intro. I love the southern rock feel of Burden of Time. I don't care for Helloween or this song, but I still am in awe of these ladies musical abilities.
Haruna has the fluidity and versatility that it will be no problem for her if she takes a transition to fusion/jazz rock. There were glimpses of younger sister Senri Kawaguchi and Kanade Sato in Haruna's playing in this song. Kudos and respect to Haruna. An incredibly great drummer.

This was a bonus track from "Awake Again: Live From the Abyss," a live in-studio recreation of their first album, "Awakening From Abyss." It was a celebration of the album's three year anniversary and was released at the end of 2020. Unfortunately, for some reason it was released in a made-to-order capacity. Now it's all but unavailable, rarely popping up on sites like Amazon and eBay and even then at outrageous prices (and I'm a doctor!). Their first release, THE LOVEBITES EP, is also out of print, but at least you can get it digitally. As far as who impressed or surprised me the most, I'm going to go with Miho. Before she left I thought of her as LOVEBITES' secret weapon, meaning that her talent and skill weren't showcased nearly as much as that of the other four. My one complaint about the band was that she was often buried in the mix. I thought a lot of fans tended to overlook her both in how well she plays her instrument and how beautiful she is. On this song, she's right in front playing that bass like a champ and throwing in some great tapping. I was so happy the first time I saw it, and even now I still smile.
They have also included a cover of Judas Priest's Painkiller in their upcoming best-of album (22nd December). I can't wait to hear this, with our shredding Goddesses MIDORI 💚💚💚 and MIYAKO 💙!

(live version) A song written by Miho, about the death of her Father. The effects of which went a long way to her leaving the band. Asami sings it to the heavens with such respect, and there's a part with Asami & Miho that is just so special. It is one of my favorite Lovebites songs and yet hardly any body has reacted to it. They did a studio recording called Awake again 2020. The DVD is sold out at most sellers. Like a streaming concert standing in the studio. The thing with Lovebites, Band-Maid and Babymetal.. I always gets tears of joy when a listen to them! What other bands do that?
I am willing to bet that all these studio tracks will be released on blu ray/dvd some time in the near future. Since the band is currently on hiatus and the fact that Miyako has recently married and has a baby and Asami has also gotten married it will be quite a while before they go back out on tour with some new material. I can see them releasing these studio tracks on DVD just to fill in the space before we hear some new material from LOVEBITES.
Well since you asked our opinion, personally I think the best part of this song is the beginning, the mid section and the ending. As for the band it seems that the vocals are really standing out and they are only matched by those three guitars and the drums. It was hard for me to decide but there you have it.
I abs love the two keepers of the keys and this song is my fav for years. As expected the girls nailed it. LIVE. Again - LIVE. The song is very difficult to play and the thing is that Helloween could never play it live so accurate. Ive heard few of theirs live performances and they all... suck. Sorry. (1) Is MIYAKO who doesn't laugh true? There is testimony from member A about this. "When I look at MIYAKO when it's not in the spotlight, I sometimes see her smile. I'm happy then." (2) MIYAKO often does not wear high heels MIYAKO was informed that he may not be wearing high heels on stage. A hypothesis was made based on the research. "She was pregnant on this year's tour." "She sometimes plays the piano on stage. Her heels are in the way." There is testimony from member A about this. It seems that there was the following conversation. "Let's decide high heels together" "OK!" "Wait a minute. MIYAKO is no good!" "Why?" "MIYAKO is taller than us. Other members are in trouble." "I see. Hahahaha ..." If so, MIYAKO doesn't wear high heels because of her kindness. (It is unconfirmed whether it is a fact) (3) MIYAKO's behavior is unpredictable There is testimony from member A about this. It seems that there was the following conversation. "Everyone, all live costumes are white." "OK!" However, on the day of the concert, MIYAKO appeared wearing black shoes. "Wow, Miyako. Isn't it white?" "What are you talking about?" "Always MIYAKO at your own pace" "Hahahaha ..." Actually, in the live video, a scene where only MIYAKO was wearing black boots was discovered. This testimony seems to be true. "From Japan" (This is a sentence using a translation app. I hope it conveys the intention correctly).

I'm pretty sure of that Wolfpack's already explained about this streaming live. Helloween led Haruna to metal, said in an interview. It is great to see Miho and Haruna go unleashed. They don't have many opportunities to show off their individual talent because Lovebites' style is not workshop type but ensemble type. In another word, Lovebites is more like one sound of five musicians, not like usual five musicians play one song together. They are rhythm section of the ensemble which is the basement of the whole one sound. What they do is to support the whole band as the basement of it. They are so talented and highly skilled, yet keep themselves behind and stay as a part of the ensemble. Those couple of musicians build up a great, the most powerful, and the heaviest, and the most effective rhythm section of the band. They didn't make major changes, but they nailed it. Yes, this was part of a live stream, so it's one take. Overall I like this version better on the strength of Asami's vocals. I have to admit I never cared much for Kiske's voice, so for me it wasn't a high bar, but she really killed it!

Great cover. I generally don't rate covers as "better" than originals, because originals are the benchmark, but I'd rate this just as good as the original, and as far as personal preference, I like it better, but that's because I'm a Lovebites nerd. Anyway, they killed it. Miho stood out most to me in this one. It's been a while since I've watched it, and I almost got teary-eyed watching her. Life goes on, I guess. I like your reactions. Mostly I don't like reactions even though I watch them, but I like yours because you're a real fan so your joy is obviously genuine.

Wolfpack is here for LOVEBITES! This is an amazing performance of a legendary song! Yes, we LOVE it! It's so awesome. They all totally NAIL it. I wish they would do more cover songs, so I was happy to hear they just did a cover of Judas Priest "Painkiller"! We hope they will release a video for it in the near future! Lovebites is THE BEST! To answer your question, what is my favorite part about this "Eagle Fly Free" video.... my only answer is: EVERYTHING. They all did such a wonderful job on this one, I can't choose a favorite part!

I love to see Haruna perfectly channeling her hero Uli Kusch in this track. Miho? Nailed it! Midori plays better than Grapow and Gerstner, closer to the original Hansen. Miyako plays it better than Weikath himself. Asami slightly better than Deris in this song, I'm sorry but still far from Kiske. Would love to see Kiske-Asami duet through.. I love Helloween but really...a song where both Miho/bass and Haruna/drums actually get some real SHINE time and nailed it !!!! This was just sensational, in a studio with no crowd energy and yet they peeled your face off. Miyako lets loose on her new custom Dean V and Midori looks like she stopped in on her way to the Ball to shred the strings off her ESP. Asami was great but a little lost...no one to boss around or command from the stage (you can really appreciate her stage presence after watching her perform during this LIVE stream event). While Kiske's vocals may well be better than Asami's here (not sure I agree on that) but nonetheless the musicianship is no contest, no one plays flawless perfection like these insanely talented women. I have been watching bands since the 1960's and have seen my fair share of LIVE concerts and none from Cream, Tull, Yes, Zeppelin, AC/DC, Priest, Maiden, etc.... play this well in a LIVE concert for this long a period of time. These women are boringly and consistently flawless no matter what they play, I am not sure you can design an Android to be this perfect!!!! BTW great reaction you reminded me of a 2 year old let loose in the candy store of their dreams.....LOL!!!

Haruna calling out Helloween was just freaking adorable. Got to add, Miho stole my heart too by calling out IRON MAIDEN. What I loved the most in this cover though, is Haruna, who seems to prefer to stay in the pocket in LOVEBITES compositions, got a chance to step out into the spotlight and shine for a full 10 measures. You and I both know she is a monster on the kit and could steal the show on demand, but she epitomes how to service the band. What I'm literally holding my breath for is LOVEBITES cover of PAINKILLER coming on their IN THE BEGINNING album. Jaws will be on the floor for her after that. 🥁🏆

On the 3rd anniversary of their debut album “Awakening From Abyss” they were supposed to do a live concert but because of C19 they decided to do a live stream concert where they played their debut album track for track in its entirety and this song was a bonus track, but not everyone got to see the live stream (time zone differences) so they offered to sell a DVD or bluray of this stream “Awake Again:live from the Abyss” during a few weeks period as (a made to order only release within that time period) unfortunately they had stated that there were no archived footage or re-release (witch is sad for new fans who might want a copy) because it is a great dvd…I have the bluray version and this studio concert would sellout quickly
My favorite part in this song was 2 parts, Miho's bass tapping and then Haruna's brief drum solos. Miyako and Midori were excellent as usual on guitar and Asami on vocals.

Well since you asked our opinion, personally I think the best part of this song is the beginning, the mid section and the ending. As for the band it seems that the vocals are really standing out and they are only matched by those three guitars and the drums. It was hard for me to decide but there you have it.

I'm pretty sure of that Wolfpack's already explained about this streaming live. Helloween led Haruna to metal, said in an interview. It is great to see Miho and Haruna go unleashed. They don't have many opportunities to show off their individual talent because Lovebites' style is not workshop type but ensemble type. In another word, Lovebites is more like one sound of five musicians, not like usual five musicians play one song together.
They are rhythm section of the ensemble which is the basement of the whole one sound. What they do is to support the whole band as the basement of it. They are so talented and highly skilled, yet keep themselves behind and stay as a part of the ensemble. Those couple of musicians build up a great, the most powerful, and the heaviest, and the most effective rhythm section of the band.

They didn't make major changes, but they nailed it. Yes, this was part of a live stream, so it's one take. Overall I like this version better on the strength of Asami's vocals. I have to admit I never cared much for Kiske's voice, so for me it wasn't a high bar, but she really killed it!
this is probably the best Helloween cover in my opinion, I can't imagine if Lovebites do a cover song from Iron Maiden, like Hallowed Be Thy Name or Aces High.

Great cover. I generally don't rate covers as "better" than originals, because originals are the benchmark, but I'd rate this just as good as the original, and as far as personal preference, I like it better, but that's because I'm a Lovebites nerd. Anyway, they killed it. Miho stood out most to me in this one. It's been a while since I've watched it, and I almost got teary-eyed watching her. Life goes on, I guess. I like your reactions. Mostly I don't like reactions even though I watch them, but I like yours because you're a real fan so your joy is obviously genuine.

I love to see Haruna perfectly channeling her hero Uli Kusch in this track. Miho? Nailed it! Midori plays better than Grapow and Gerstner, closer to the original Hansen. Miyako plays it better than Weikath himself. Asami slightly better than Deris in this song, I'm sorry but still far from Kiske. Would love to see Kiske-Asami duet through..

I love Helloween but really...a song where both Miho/bass and Haruna/drums actually get some real SHINE time and nailed it !!!! This was just sensational, in a studio with no crowd energy and yet they peeled your face off. Miyako lets loose on her new custom Dean V and Midori looks like she stopped in on her way to the Ball to shred the strings off her ESP. Asami was great but a little lost...no one to boss around or command from the stage (you can really appreciate her stage presence after watching her perform during this LIVE stream event). While Kiske's vocals may well be better than Asami's here (not sure I agree on that) but nonetheless the musicianship is no contest, no one plays flawless perfection like these insanely talented women. I have been watching bands since the 1960's and have seen my fair share of LIVE concerts and none from Cream, Tull, Yes, Zeppelin, AC/DC, Priest, Maiden, etc.... play this well in a LIVE concert for this long a period of time. These women are boringly and consistently flawless no matter what they play, I am not sure you can design an Android to be this perfect!!!! BTW great reaction you reminded me of a 2 year old let loose in the candy store of their dreams.....LOL!!!

Haruna calling out Helloween was just freaking adorable. Got to add, Miho stole my heart too by calling out IRON MAIDEN. What I loved the most in this cover though, is Haruna, who seems to prefer to stay in the pocket in LOVEBITES compositions, got a chance to step out into the spotlight and shine for a full 10 measures. You and I both know she is a monster on the kit and could steal the show on demand, but she epitomes how to service the band. What I'm literally holding my breath for is LOVEBITES cover of PAINKILLER coming on their IN THE BEGINNING album. Jaws will be on the floor for her after that. 🥁🏆

On the 3rd anniversary of their debut album “Awakening From Abyss” they were supposed to do a live concert but because of C19 they decided to do a live stream concert where they played their debut album track for track in its entirety and this song was a bonus track, but not everyone got to see the live stream (time zone differences) so they offered to sell a DVD or bluray of this stream “Awake Again:live from the Abyss” during a few weeks period as (a made to order only release within that time period) unfortunately they had stated that there were no archived footage or re-release (witch is sad for new fans who might want a copy) because it is a great dvd…I have the bluray version and this studio concert would sellout quickly
It is the curse if japanese market. Exclusivity is more important than selling tons. Fortunately I too have the bluray. Still unopened though...
My favorite part in this song was 2 parts, Miho's bass tapping and then Haruna's brief drum solos. Miyako and Midori were excellent as usual on guitar and Asami on vocals.
