Wowser! This was sure jam packed with stitchy goodness! Congratulations again on your two quite monumental finishes. The framing of the acorn-border-almost-did-me-in piece is perfection, and I’m curious now about the I’m-just-over-stitching-snow frame 🤣. Loving your new releases! The acorn piece will be a future stitch for me. Continuing in prayers for Justin and Stephanie and your upcoming teaching semester. Sending hugs, my friend 🤗
Your new designs are just fabulous!!! Away We Ride is stunning! I look forward to your progress on the Bent Creek mantle piece. Take care, stay safe and happy stitching!
Wonderful finishes! I’m always so inspired by your stitching AND finishing. I mostly stitch on 36 count linen, but have been toying with more 40 count, especially after seeing others, including yourself, stitching on 40 count. Things are always so sweet on those higher counts.
I like stitching on 40 count mainly because the coverage is a bit better for me than on 36 and I also like things to be tiny. But 36 is very nice to stitch on! :)
Thanks Misty for an awesome video...love your FFO’s BBD Away we Ride and FO’s...especially PS Button UP...you were my enabler for both patterns... I mostly stitch on any size Aida in my fabrics(awaiting cataract surgery)...love the Butter Basin book and Kit...Have a great time getting your Spanish classes ready to go on Zoom...My daughter was in charge of setting up virtual classes for the teachers of handicapped students this year...she does teacher training for this group...love your new patterns and of course your fabric...stay safe and happy stitching ❤️❤️
Beautiful pieces stitched, framed and shared. My fabric that I stitch on is Aida 14 and 16 ct, but also stitch on linen and even weave. Thank you for sharing your stitching, your new releases and your framed piece. Happy crafting!
Thanks for another great podcast. I love your new designs, they are all on my stitching list. My favorite fabric to stitch on is 28 and 32 count Lugana, I love how even the weave is
Squirreling Around is a lovely design and I like the blue acorns! Haunted, wow love the motifs and the limited color palette, and the ornaments, what a fun addition! Away We Ride looks great and the frame is perfect! (Yikes, thank goodness you were able to cover up the black marks!) Crow is a cute hanging piece!
I stitch on Aida, Lugana, Linda, Evenweave and very little linen. Your new releases are very sweet. I really enjoy your videos. I hope you have a very easy transition back to school with remote teaching/learning. Thank you so much for your commitment to creatively teaching your students.
We moved to CA (very few trees) back to PA (home for me) and we have lots of trees around our house. I have great fun watching the squirrels playing with each other, wrestling with each other on the ground, chasing each other through the trees. I don't really find them destructive, fortunately. My husband calls them rats with furry tails (probably to annoy me) but I think they are super cute. The chipmunks are even cuter! I love your finish on the ornaments.
Thank you so much for the shout out! All of your new designs are amazing. You have the gift of creating the exact right designs and choosing the right colors to go with them. My favorite fabric is 32 count Lugana.
Hi Misty, your new designs are awesome! Button Up looks amazing! Your finishes are fantastic! I stitch mostly on 28 count Monaco fabric. Have a wonderful week!
Love all your beautiful finishes. Your BBD piece is perfect! I love to stitch on linen but will occasionally stitch on an evenweve. Your release are adorable!
Oh how I hope I might win this. I stitch on Aida. I have been teaching myself to cross stitch. I have been a quilter. Now at eighty I am learning something new, so I am using the beginner fabric. Wish I would have learned to stitch earlier. TH-cam has helped me so much. With all you stitchers sharing surely helps. So much fun. Thanks for sharing.
Great video! I love your new designs; they are adorable. Your finishes are so cute and you really did get so much done. I don’t typically stitch Halloween but your designs would be my choice if I did. Happy designing and stitching...............
I just paused and ordered your Gathering Berries and Squirreling Around designs. I love that you advocate individualizing designs, thank you for the encouragement! I think I might have to pause again!
My first time watching you. So much cute stuff! I'm a newbie so have been trying a few different fabrics. I'm currently using 25 count Lugana and am loving it.
Love seeing your new designs, and so many finishes! I'm currently working on 32 luguana but 36 and 40 counts are my favorite. I really like using one thread vs two.
I love the way Away We Ride looks in its spooky frame! I would have freaked out if I'd gotten black on the linen. Thank you for the heads up on the filler! Can't wait to see the frame for Button Up. That was one of the most challenging pieces I've stitched. Like you I was totally over it at the end and just pushed through it so it would be finished. Love your new charts! (I already started Acorns) Good luck with the start of the school year!
Thanks, Helen! Yes, it was traumatic having mysterious black marks on my fabric that wouldn't come out. Can't wait to see how your acorns are coming along!
Hello! Well I just had to get haunted....love it, love it, love it. I got the last 16 count aida from your shop and a floss pack. I also got the pdf Bubbles, bubbles. Thank you for enabling me! LOL Such a cute pattern! I love your finishes and your WIPS! Stay safe and Happy stitching!
Hi Misty--I love so many of your projects, and designs. I have recently started back stitching after 20 some years. Because I don't see very well, I have been mostly stitching on 14 count aida. Have a wonderful day, and take care. Diane
Wow! I could write a novel after watching this video! I love how you framed Away We Ride. It’s perfect! Snow Day turned out great and is on my someday list. Your new designs are so cute. I have that Autumn PS chart and now you have me thinking about starting it! I won’t comment on what I stitch on because I plan to purchase the design myself. I don’t know why I haven’t already. The design, and story behind it touches my heart. Hope the school year gets off to a good start! ~ Barb
I prefer to stitch on 36 ct linen, but have a few projects lined up using 25 ct Lugana for 1X1 stitching, also 20 ct. aida for a full coverage piece. It seems everyone is so ready for fall, me included. I love your new designs, the cats are adorable. Hope the new school year works out well for all. Happy stitching.
I always love your finishes but that key! Oh my gosh! Something so basically "simple" in design is just stunning!!! And I am a sucker for your squirrels..always! I began stitching on Aida many years ago when that was about all there was...I've tried linen but unless it's an even weave fabric I just can't seem to get it. So, I find my comfort zone (and I don't want to stitch on something I can't see or enjoy!) is 18 count aida...and in any great color I find!
💜all the Halloween 👻 enabling enabling! I’m newly back into cross stitching and stitch on Aida 18 count. There’s so many beautiful Aida available now. I have a small piece of linen I keep trying to stitch on but I’m waiting for the day I can find someone to teach me in person. So yep I’m an Aida stitcher. Thank you for sharing all your goodies and kindness ❣️
I love your Gathering Berries pattern along with the red color. Seen so many people stitching it. I like to stitch best on 36 ct linen. I have some 40, but haven’t tried it yet. I also like the 28 ct Lugana I’ve been using on the Summer Schoolhouse Abecedarian series 1 over 1, but I wouldn’t want to do that all the time. I enjoy your flosstubes - you do a good job on them. Thanks. Berries
I prefer evenweave fabric, but I will stitch on just about anything if I already have it in my stash. I enjoy your videos and your patterns are really pretty. I don't know how you accomplish so much, but I enjoy your work. Hope you have a good school year, I feel like these times are hard for everyone, but I'm really greatful that we have the technology for the students to continue their education. Thanks for all you do.
I’ve really been enjoying your videos. I discovered you about 2 weeks ago and have been binge watching your progress. Congratulations on all your fabulous designs! I stitch on lots of different fabrics depending on what I have and can find. I mostly stitch on 14/28 ct or 16/32 ct. fabrics. After watching you, I’m going to try some 1 over 1 stitching on various counts just to see what’s possible!
As usual, I loved watching your video- it’s always inspirational! Makes me want to stitch (and finish!) all the things! 🥰 I think I would’ve died if the framer was responsible for getting red dye on my finished piece! I probably would have stared at him wide eyed, with my mouth hanging open, until he’d have to gently lead me out of the store! 😱🤣As for the fabric that I stitch on, it’s usually linen, 28 count. I’ve never tried Lugana, Linda, etc. But I’d love to try new fabrics in the near future. 😊
Love all the designs you showed! My favorite fabric at the moment seems to be 32 count Lugana. The framing on your witch ‘s, away we ride is stunning. Good choice! Your new designs are so utterly sweet! Good luck with school!
I love all of your new releases! The friendship cat piece is adorable! I also LOVE all of your finishes! Great job! How so very sweet of Evika, going to visit her shop!! I like to stitch on Aida and Evenweave fabric. I have also just bought my first linen. I go from 16 - 28 count and working my way to a higher count. Baby steps and my eyes let me know when enough is enough. I had some neck, back and arm pain a while back. I switched to a more supportive pillow and doing really well now. I am not sure if it was that or maybe just a position I was sleeping in and did not know it...dunno! I am pain free now...so...yay! I hope your pain eases for sure.
My favourite fabric to stitch on is anything Aida. I haven’t even tried even weave or linen at all. I love all your charts specially this one, thank you so much for your hard work
That is the perfect frame for Away We Ride. It makes the piece stand out. The fabric that I tend to stich on is 28 count Monaco. I coffee and tea dye it myself. Love your designs. Good luck with the school year.
Loved all the finishes! The new Haunted pattern is so cute and the ornaments look awesome in the tag finish! Almost like little spooky tombstones. Love your new designs - those little squirrels are TOO CUTE! Can't wait to see the frame for Snow Day. Your framed pieces always turn out so perfect! Have a great stitchy week - Laura
Love your new releases! Thank you for keeping us who stitch on the fabric that starts with A. (Didn’t want to say the name as I don’t want to enter for Gathering Berries as I already stitched it😂) You pick out the most beautiful and appropriate frames and finishes! 💕Michele
Oh my gosh I started having similar pain in my neck, shoulder and arm. It was really making it hard to stitch. What I found that really helped was I bought a pillow from Sleep Number ( In Balance Contour) that supports my neck and shoulder much better. After about a week I noticed the pain is pretty much gone and I’m able to stitch for as long as I want 👍🏻😊. I love all linen doesn’t really matter what count it’s all beautiful. Happy Stitchy week 🎃🍁.
That's amazing that the pillow made such a difference. Another person commented with a similar experience. I'll definitely have to keep that in mind if the issue crops up again. :)
Love all your designs!! Absolutely stunning! I just adore Haunted and Squirreling Around! I am a newer stitcher (since Nov. 2019). I started on 14 and have tried everything up to 28 count aida and lugana. I have to say my favorite is 16 count Aida. I need my hobbies to be FAST so I learned to the sewing method, stitching in hand so I prefer the stiffer Aida as it does not stretch out of shape as I wrangle with it LOL. Love this new hobby. Thank you for all you do and for sharing your talent!!
Such beautiful new designs ! I absolutely love watching your videos! I stitch on 18 count Adia or 25 count Monico :) Good luck with your teaching efforts and bless you for making it work !
Love your finishes and your framing ideas. Your designs are Awesome. Love them all. Always enjoy your videos. 😀 Halloween 🎃 is my favorite too. 😀 You have a great week. See you next time. 🙏 for your nephew still.
I love all your new patterns and framed pieces! The cats are adorable. The frames you picked out are beautiful and accent the pieces very well. I stitch primarily on linen. Usually 36 or 40 count. 🧵
I used to cross-stitch a lot when I was in my 20's and I used aida a lot! Now I'm back to stitching and loving all kinds of fabrics: linen, lugana, even weave you name it! thanks for the chance to win this lovely pattern!
Wishing you a wonderful school year. I was a teacher and love hearing how other teachers, teach. I am starting over with my cross stitching, did it when my children were young and then life became to busy to stitch. Because my eye sight is not the best I am starting over with Ada, 14 and 16 count. Really enjoying getting back into stitching. Enjoy watching the floss tube chats. Thank you.
I would stitch on either 14 or 16 count Aida. I have to check your shop out! Hope the start of the school year goes well for you and all your students.
Good morning! I so enjoyed all your finishes. The gift tag finishing from Vonna is one of my favorites. I think I am going to use that finishing for my Button Up ornaments. I am excited to see your Button Up framed; it's going to be amazing! All of your new designs are beautiful, especially Haunted. I'm still working on my technology for my distance learners, but since we begin tomorrow I had better make it quick!😆 I hope your classes go smoothly!
Hi Jennifer! Vonna's tag finish is one of my favorites, too. Genius! You know, I still haven't gotten around to framing Button Up. Fingers crossed I make time for it this week. :) How are your classes going? Mine are going fairly well so far.
They are going well so far. The most difficult class is my algebra I remote learners, which are eighth graders. Their age is a hindrance, but I think they will come around.
Wowser! This was sure jam packed with stitchy goodness! Congratulations again on your two quite monumental finishes. Lol, thanks Barb! I've been making pretty good progress on that fall PS sampler piece. I'm maybe close to halfway. It is such a pretty stitch. :)
Your new patterns are very cool! I'll stitch on any type of fabric!
Love watching you and your work. I have just started really liking the 40 count fabrics.
40 count is my favorite! :)
I prefer to stitch on 36 ct linen, but have a few projects lined up using 25 ct Lugana for 1X1 stitching, also 20 ct. aida for a full coverage piece. Enjoyed the time you took explaining the finishes. They were beautiful. I like to stitch on 28 ct linen and 20 ct aida.
Love the Halloween charts! I enjoy stitching on 28 count lugana the most 😍
Oh my gosh I started having similar pain in my neck, shoulder and arm.

Thank you for all you do and for sharing your talent!!
I love all of your designs! Sooo cute! I pretty much stitch on Aida 14ct. Even weave and linen 28ct.
Love you girl 💜 always happy to see another one of your videos pop up!!!
I prefer to stitch on 32 count linen. I love the frame you chose for Away We Ride. It's perfect. Can't wait to see what you picked out for Snow Day.
Love your new designs. Anxious to get your fabric I ordered. The fabric I stitch on is 16, 18, or 20 count aida. Thank you
Such beautiful new designs !

How are your classes going? Mine are going fairly well so far.
They are going well so far. The most difficult class is my algebra I remote learners, which are eighth graders. Their age is a hindrance, but I think they will come around.
